I have had three of these. One was a replacement by Logitech. The issue is that the Powerplay will generate EMF interference while in the charging state, as indicated by the White LED on the pad receiver. I have the G903 Mouse, G910 Keyboard, and the Powerplay. I also use a Logitech MX Master 3 and Performance MX for productivity most of the time. I noticed the mouse cursor while using any other wireless mouse like the MX Master 3 or Performance MX was jittering, and I could not control it while the Powerplay was in the charge state! As soon as the charge state ended or I unplugged the Powerplay, the cursor would return to normal. As soon as the Powerplay returned to the charging state, the cursor would become erratic again! I also noticed the G903 generated a jittery mouse cursor while the Powerplay was in a charged state. It was not as bad as when using the MXM3, and I could select items, but the cursor was jittering until the charge state ended. So Logitech sent me a replacement Powerplay, and it had the same issue! Because I use my productivity Logitech mice the most, I would unplug the Powerplay pad to prevent the problem from occurring. When I wanted to game and use the G903 mouse, I would plug the Powerplay back in. Fast forward a few months, and I started to play Elden Ring on PC using an Xbox controller. I noticed intermittent issues with menu control. When trying to select or scroll through a menu using the Xbox controller, I could not choose anything, and it would jump around! At first, I thought this was a new game patch issue, but it continued to occur, and then I noticed the game was jittering slightly only on the monitor I was playing Elden Ring. When this issue remained after several patches, I discovered the Powerplay was causing the problem when it was in a charge state! Like the mice, the issue would disappear once I disconnected the Powerplay USB cable or stopped charging. I connected the USB connection directly to my desktop and other USB ports, but the issue persists. All device Firmware and G-Hub software are up to date. I even purchased a third Powerplay pad from BestBuy, hoping Logitech may have changed something, but the issue continues even on the newest Powerplay. The Powerplay produces some EMF that impacts other wireless devices, speakers, and monitors. I am not sure how the Powerplay is affecting my monitor. Still, it is only occurring on the monitor I am playing Elden Ring on, leading me to conclude the interface is coming through the Xbox controller and maybe producing micro character movement, which looks like screen jittering on my monitor. I have contacted Logitech again regarding this issue. I have not seen many reviewers reporting this, but I believe this is because most owners only use a Logitech G Mouse, so they do not know the impact on other wireless devices. However, there are a few reviewers who, like me, use different wireless devices and are experiencing the same issue. Edit: I have noticed my Panasonic wireless home phone has had interference for some time now. This wasn't always the case, and If I move away from my desk with the Powerplay, it goes away! It occurred to me that the Powerplay might also impact this phone. Sure enough, if I unplug the Powerplay mouse pad, all my home phone interference disappears! There is a Powerplay Charging Enable option in the G Hub Powerplay options section that will only work with Powerplay Firmware 7.1.11. G Hub will NOT update the Powerplay Firmware through the built-in update process, and you have to do this manually to update the Fireware to 7.1.11 to enable this option! With no help from Logitech support, I think I figured out a fix. You have to use the Logitech POWERPLAY Wireless Charging System Update Tool under downloads for the Powerplay device to actually update the Powerplay Firmware to version 7.1.11 to get the option to disable. Powerplay Charging! You can now disable Powerplay Charging until required, and it will not impact other devices. I am still checking this works and will update later. Good luck.
Yeah, though more and more motherboards are including all of 1 USB Type - C and one front panel, still very few Case manufacturers are including Type C in the front panel connectors, not that you would connect this to the front panel anyhow. I do kind of agree it should be type C, or better to have two models, one being type C as it would be awesome for laptops which many more are using type C often.
Does the powerplay have an onboard memory or something? Because iv managed to set the default color to red and cant change it. its really bothering me because i have to open up ghub every time i want to set its color to the one i want lol
@@qbking77 hi! can you play like 100 days straight (not gonna do that btw xD) on that mousepad, will it still don't need to charge via that wire. like can you play unlimited time wireless on that mouse pad?
Can you charge the mouse with Qi charging pad as well or is it a proprietary charging system? Is the usb transmitter mouse specific or can you use both on one transmitter?
its a proprietary charging system that Logitech is using. I also kind of wondered that as I was considering buying the Be Quiet! Dark Base Pro 900 Rev 2 Case which has a charging plate on the top front of the case though I also realised you would only really want to charge the mouse when you are not using the pc which would mean the charging plate would not be receiving charge as the pc would be switched off.
This is awful! after a while static electricity will start create a multiple clicks in your mouse! the combination with G903 Lightspeed and the power play is temporary, and after more or less one year of use, you will start facing this issue with this mouse which is extremely annoying, specially if you play FPS gaming and try to hold down the aim! it wont stay, like you are clicking multiples times extremely fast without holding it! After researched a lot, and found out I was not the only one facing this issue with this combination of POWERPLAY gamepad and G903 Lightspeed! Some cases people would have been buying 3 G903 in a matter of 3 years! Finally this Genius was able to fix the issue! He said that after a while using the G903 Lightspeed, With the battery that goes inside of the mouse to keep on charging the mouse within the Gamepad, static electricity would make the buttons been activated multiple time while you are holding down the button! The solution it was to turn off the G903, and pull off the battery that comes with the POWERPLAY mouse pad out of the 903! and then click for a matter of a minute both of the buttons of the mouse to discharge the static electricity witch was accumulated on the mouse! After that, you would put the Battery sensor back inside the G903 and turn the mouse on, and then problem it was solved! The Issue is, that after a while playing, you would start having the same issue again! So it was extremely annoying to do that during the game, every one hour or so! So I had to go back to G502 until Logitech fix this issue! Many people out there have no CLUE about this issue, and they think that their G903 gets malfunction and buy a new one! Piece of Advice?! Stay away of this combination G903 Lightspeed and Logitech POWERPLAY!
Thanks Tim....I don't have a PC, just a phone and a tablet. However, I do appreciate and enjoy your videos, even when they don't apply to me ! BTW, please sign the, # release the memo from Google ! For All Americans. 🇺🇸
this is really stupid though what a waste of money. Yes you don't have to plug in your mice to use it. But you have to plug the charging pad in??! REDUNDANT!
That was partially my thoughts to start with as well as the G900 is a wireless mouse that you charge every so often with a wired connection and I understand the battery life lasts ages so hardly ever needs charging and my reason for wanting wireless mouse was for fewer cables cluttering my desk. I am warming to this pad as you could keep the wire tidier as once the pad is in place the cable does not need to be moved and can lay in the one location otherwise. I'm not sure. its a very expensive option, $200 AUD in Australia just for the mousepad more expensive than the 903 mouse that costs $180 AUD!
I have the 903 and I love it. The RGB customization is cool too.
how do i know if mousepad charging my g903?

If you stick the mouse on top of a Qi charger will it also charge the mouse or does that not work at all?
I want another soft mousepad but which one is it
I have a logitech g910 keyboard but want the razer hyperflux set
everyone needs to follow Tim on Twitch for good times and memes
I am really warming to this mousepad, though it costs $200 AUD in Australia plus $180 for the 903 mouse :S expensive combination. Plus shipping :S
Will it work with Dex station
Wish it had the technology to throw your phone on the pad and charge that too! Certainly large enough. Maybe some day
Lorenzo agreed!
Why isn't it USB C...
cause usb c is still not standard port.....
Yes it is. All of the android phones are coming with it for two years now.
Tomer Stern It's not a standard for PCs. Being a standard on smartphones is irrelevant.

there's no twitch link in description >:(
Fyi : G502 Lightspeed is also compatible ;) it works perfectly fine with this pad...
You know when this video was made 2 years ago? That mice didn’t exist then
Does the powerplay have an onboard memory or something? Because iv managed to set the default color to red and cant change it. its really bothering me because i have to open up ghub every time i want to set its color to the one i want lol
Does it come with the two mice
How'd you get the complete setup like that with pad and mice combined? Is it for sale as well like that?
I think that's just a reviewers kit, ive not seen it anywhere for sale.
oh my god they really invented this I love technology
So happy I won't have to plug this mouse in to charge it...
Miguel Monteiro Guys I just got $6412on my paypal from this tool without paying anything:(just go to) ~> freepplmoney.win/?oR2HV3

@@blyat2165 yes
Please upgrade your mic bcoz it is not audible it very low in sound
Will this plug into a Alienware laptop
I would suggest YES as its just using a standard USB connection to power it though perhaps it would have to be a powered usb connection.

PLUS, battery life is not a problem with a mouse. EVER. Just get wired ones or change your batteries every 6 months at most. That's it!
Hey what camera did you use to record this video?
Sony AX100
thanks :)
Does it still come with the two mouses
Is this guy using a boom mic?
