Hows the dpi
What that no mouse? stupid jajajajaja
No I’m kidding lmao, I’m tryna be like those people that can’t understand a joke
ripulled nunny
"razer does have the edge in terms of rgb" pun intended lul
Ultron razer is sh*t
that's your opinion
ZTDX
Razers pretty good IMO.
rbg is a decor adds nothing more then eye candy and if thats the only thing you care about well thats sad because who is looking at the mouse/mouse pad when playing.
Razer-the hundreds of dollars RGB for your PC
Ive got the logitech powerplay for over 2 years now. It is amazing!
so?
@@sven9487 its a recommendation by the way i said it you iq less fucktard
But with g903;502;703’s size doesn’t the pad fell too small? For FPS of course.
@@akiyamato3299 that depends on what dpi youre playing on :)
G Money i think someone is mad?
The Razer mouse comes with a leash in case you ever need to take it outside, Razer wins.
omg what do you do choke your dog

Great video once again! Nice work! Absolutely loving my powerplay and g703
Nice review, Frank! You're the best channel to watch on gaming gear. 🔥👍
I was looking for a comprhensive summary of these three setups and I ended up finding this awesome video. Wonderfully done!
What if you buy the Corsair mouse and then just buy a cheap wireless charger and stick it under a mousepad and boom
Tjames75 that’s what I plan on doing :)
Trying to find the thinnest possible Qi charger I can.
Got an extended mouse mat and the k95 platinum , I think it will be an amazing combo.
yeah i was planning do that too =))
Tjames75 anyone found a really good thin qi charger? Thinnest one I managed to find on amazon was 0.2 inches.
Any1 found any better?
I’d get the corsair mousepad and just use the qi charger for a phone. Can have your own wireless mouse and charge it with a short cable coming out of the USB pass through. Maybe other companies with come out with better qi mice.
that's pretty decent search on the market for a little bit more, but that's pretty thin
For me I've been looking at the g703 for awhile now so I'm probably going to go for the powerplay
Was waiting for this vid to drop! I can watch Randomfrankp & HardwareCanucks videos all day. Awesome job.
at last. review on all the wireless mouses and charge pads. been waiting for this review. tq frank
gotta love the razer pricing $400 AUD in Australia wtf am I buying and that is without shipping which is $30 AUD
yesser alakkad it is 3.440.000 IDR in Indonesia which is out of many tech lover price range here
Where in Australia is it that cheap? I haven't seen it for less than RRP - $400 AUD
yea wtf its only $400 aud not 310. if it was 310 i would buy it in a heartbeat
Why must all the companies be in america...
@@beetlejuicefanboy101 are you alright? the reason is 400$ AUD is because your currenency is worth less 250$USD = 400$AUD
Yehey, you did my request! Awesome quality content as always!
Dope, thanks for your time man! Great content and effort, means a lot, keep it up!
Hey Frank, I love you videos, they are so good and high quality. Good luck with your RUclips career!
I'm honestly so surprised the Corsair MM1000 isn't RGB
Because Corsair just got a Qi mouse pad from a Chinese manufacturer and didn't do much beyond slapping their logo on it. Maybe the next one will be RGB and only cost $129.
I would have say the same . tats disappointed product .
Sean Sinha I hear you. Wouldve been a hell of a lot cooler if they did tho. Might just wait on it then
They should have developed a solution that had both soft and cloth pads, along with RGB implementation. Both competitors have RGB (even though the Logitech is only on the logo, it's still a nice subtle lighting zone) and Soft/Hard cloth options.
idiot! rgb is for noobs and hipster
love the funhaus shirt
This was very helpful thanks RFP!
A very helpful video, thankfully delivered slowly enough to assimilate the knowledge given. Thanks.
love the funhaus shirt
I got the g502 with Powerplay and don't regret it. The "least RGB" is actually a pro for me. I don't want to waste power just to look flashy. My mechanical keyboard has no lights at all lol
literally exactly what I was looking for, thanks!
great video. watched through the end. don't beat yourself for making it "long", it was actually short given the level of detail you have cared to touch. I thank you for that because I'm a very meticulous guy, so details are EXTREMELY important. keep it up.
HEY He watches Funhaus!!!! Great vid btw was thinking about picking one of these up
The Corsair one is just a glorified charging station.
i’m getting my full setup Pc on july 29 so i’m looking at these videos to get the best of the best .Thanks man
What's your full set now ?
This was great. Nicely done!
Great summation, dude! X
I myself vastly prefer the Logitech Power Play, I have to say Razer actually stepped up by making a refreshing product different enough in a good way to give people options. I like how the mouse pad for Razer is flip-able and has it's own holder, however I don't just want wireless to eliminate inconsistent cable friction. I also want wireless so I can sit back and use my mouse on my leg when I am browsing RUclips and Twitch. However, Corsair just feels lazy, rushed, and sub-optimal. I mean why would taking up 20% of your mouse pad just to charge a phone slower than a wall charger make any sense? I am committing to Logitech for my next setup. Not because it's my favorite branding, but because it best fills all my needs.
i really like the funhaus t-shirt
Yes, a new video. This is my favorite channel!
Thanks to this vid i went out and got G903 and Powerplay. I was sceptical at first but now i am a believer.
I want logitech to make a nice soft thick cloth mouse pad that is like extended width and height so it covers more of the desk and it can be done just make it bigger the reciever will be fine there wont be any issues with signal or anything hell mine hides underneath my other cables and guitar equipment and there is no accuracy loss or anything in game
Who else loves Logitech and use a Logitech mouse?
me currently have g903 and waiting for g powerplay as it's not available in my country+
Blizzard Wind nice :)
You can order online from amazon global store if its not available in your country.
GMDDeter good =)
I have a g102, I like its design and 6000dpi is all I need for creating creative gaming videos :)
GMDDeter yes it is very similar to the Logitech G pro
The g102 just have lower dpi =)
GMDDeter by the way, do you want to watch some unusual gaming videos?=)
Great video man , awesome video quality
I've had my G903 with Powerplay since release. I love it although my opinion is biased since I also have a G710 Keyboard which I also love. Fantastic video review with very specific comparisons which is amazing. Even though you felt like your review was long winded, it is very well polished and more importantly INFORMATIVE review without any favoritism. Well done
Is it still any good
I have the Logitech Powerplay mat with the G903 and it is pretty great. Haven't felt anymore latency than a wired mouse.
Great comparison Frank. I think the Razer one is good enough for me.
@R4DIC4L no only the maba hyperflux
dont get a razer, you will regret it
Have G703 for a year and bought powerplay pad some months ago. Love it! Also I can tell you one more plus of logitech/razer pads to corsair one - their pads can be replaced when wear off (I mean cloth/plastic surfaces, not charging surface).
Love the detailed video
The Thumbnail is just *OOO BABYY*
Razer HyperFlux will last the longest out of them all as it uses a supercapacitor.
I'm just saying this in a technical point of view.
But the mouse will last 3 months :>
I just bought the Razer Mamba + Hyperflux and it died multiple times while on the mousepad
Alex Bronson you shouldnt keep the mouse at the very edge
My friend has had his power play since launch and my mamba just died after 3 months lol
What kind of desk do you have? I love the look of it, another great video btw.
Know it's older, but liked the video for looking for older budget friendly items.. Ty, new sub for sure 😎👍
I would love for logitech to come out with a wireless version of the g502 proteus spectrum
Eamonn Butler- they have one-- it's called the g602. I have it. It's great.
but... i have a g602 that isnt rgb :/
Jacob my mistake-- I thought you meant mouse design/buttons/ect.
You don't want a wireless rgb mouse imho but ymmv.
It makes more difference to the look of your set up than anything. Rgb doesn't add anything but it just sorta fits in and is nice to have like when you walk into your room and go to sit down at your desk and you have your rgb keyboard and mouse its just a nice feeling like your set up feels a bit nicer more tidy or something its weird to explain
true
11:59 that's a green screen the blue lighting is going over the mouse.
woah wth
its not
Rares Sevescu it is lol
Great video!
There's something else i would consider to mention. The fact that the power base of the firefly is on the top left could be an advantage in terms of cable manegement (for right handed people); I mean, you can put the cable under the top edge of the keyboard.
I bought the corsair mm1000 so I could use it for the wireless charging adapter for my phone then use the extra usb for the G502
Personally, I like the Dark Core because it’s the mouse i use for gaming.
do you have any issues with dark core connectivity, i thinking of buying one but read that it has connectivity issues.
If I had to use a Corsair mouse, it would either be the m65 RGB pro, Scimitar Pro, and IronClaw wired
Shaigan Younis I don’t have any connection issues, the only connectivity issues I’ve ever had is because it was close to dying.
Thanks for the video! I've been waiting for this video. I wish the Logitech mouse would work with the Razer mouse pad. Guess I have to make the Logitech mouse pad RGB
Thank you to clarify all my doubts. I appreciate.
Who ever is reading this I wish you a great day

I like comparison videos hope u can do some more in the future
I’m going to do the following:
-Get the Corsair wireless keyboard and mouse.
-Get a full length mousepad.
-Get two IKEA desk-integrated QI chargers.
-Get a micro-usb QI-adaptor for having inside phone cases.
Install the IKEA QI chargers underneath where my mouse and keyboard would reside. Cover them with full length mousepad. Plug QI-adaptor in keyboard. Hey presto! Totally chargable, totally wireless, totally awesome desktop!
Ok
***MY OPINION***
Razer for size, Logitech for tech, Corsair for USB passthrough, Logitech for quality/reliability, Razer & Corsair for mouse switch, Logitech for looks, Razer for RGB, Razer for no branding. Id says to get the Logitech one if you have good money and the Corsair one if not because it's cheaper and it's still good (it has universal charging). personal preference. also if you game more I would get the G703 (the other compatible powerplay mouse) instead of the 903 because it has better switches inside. (ALSO the Logitech one has good weight changing so that cool :D) The Razer product is a good option but since it only has a 20-second battery I wouldn't buy it. It only works with the mousepad and itsw expensive too.
they dont really brand it as much as logitech - so i guess corsair is good too. I dont reccomend razer though.
I've been using razer since the first blackwidow came out (2014). Before the razer i had bought many logitech products which broke in less than a year and i was dissapointed. I bought a keyboard for 200$ at the time and it broke in less than a year as i said. Also the camera and mic from logitech died in a few months. But the razer keyboard i have still works fine and im using it 4 years now. I now only buy Razer products cuz i think they have great quality. Rn i have the Blackwidow chroma, Razer Lancehead TE and razer goliathus. This is also my *opinion*. And as for corsair i haven't used one so I'm not one to speak...
The G903 and G703 both use the same model of Omron 50 Million click main switch.
Weird. Most people have the exact opposite experience with Razer and Logitech when it comes to the whole QC angle. Thankfully, Logitech CS is awesome and they have great warranty support, tending to just send replacements without even asking for old stuff back. Razer has horrible support and never replaced a defective keyboard of mine that was within warranty.
YoU CAn StILl UsE ThE RaZer MouSe FFs just use a cable
cool Video again!
Good job Frank
Great overview, well thought out and covered the most important aspects of the choices available..Subscribed!
$250? I'll stick with my deathadder elite.
4:37 - When you have a Qi charger but gotta pronounce it ‘chi’
Made in qina
qi is pronounced like chi tho
@@gavinskeen3929 No, it's pronounced "key". Not sure where he got chi
@@Beanpolr Lookup pronunciation qì" (气) in Chinese. He got as right as he could.
Good job in putting them all together in a single bench. Keep it up...
Good video brother, like to see more like this!
12:00 why is the mouse blend in with the background? I'm pretty sure that a green screen and not his setup.
Tactticz oh wow, and he probably has a big light in front of him that probably would project some form of shadow on the background
Aikano9 it goes transparent though
Its the reflection from whatever lights he has in front of him. Looks weird though, I must admit.
i think that the blue LED are fake
The mouse cable is gone but now there is a fat mousepad cable across the table.
True, but the cable won't drag or get snagged while moving the mouse and you still get the other benefits of using a wireless mouse.
you can make a hole in your table if you want to hide it
i got the hyper flux had the mamba and firfly erlier so now i have 1 cabel insted of 2 ;D XD
TOmeiTO OW you completely missed the point of a wireless mouse
hey frank great video! i was jw what do u do for a living? like how do u get the money for this stuff
The Dark Core does have detailed battery info. You can see the % drain on the iCue dashboard. Also has option of battery gauge on Windows taskbar along w/ cpu and gpu temp, etc. The mouse also has onboard data storage. Out of all the gaming keylogging spyware (corsair’s iCue, Razer Synapse, Steel Series Engine, etc) id prefer the Corsair’s bloatware. Theyre setup is highly customizable, and theyre upfront about the data logging.
does the logitech one work with any logitech wireless mouse?
L4MB0 No only with the logitech g903 and the g703
If it has the wireless charging functionality. The G900 does not work because it lacks that module for wireless charging and you can not aftermarket add it either.
L4MB0 only with the newest G903 and G703
I know Logitech doesn't advertise it, but the G403 Wireless also works with PowerPlay. Source: Legit Reviews did an article about it. Google: PowerPlay works with G403.
Lmao intelligence at its finest
you can use the hyperflux without the firefly cuz it has a wire that can turn into wired version as u mentioned
yep thats what he didn't mention in the pros... He only mentioned it randomly thru out the video
ikr
Why would using a wireless mouse with a cable be a pro??? That makes no sense
randomfrankp what i mean u can still use it without the firefly.. as a wired so u can use it anywhere if ur lazy to bring the firefly cuz its big it takes alot of space..
I dont know you can use it on a laptop or maybe a computer without the mousepad, that's what i meant. For instance let's say you get your corsiar mouse with you and you forget the mousepad with you or a wireless charger, and then you can't charge it. For the razer you don't need the mouse pad, you can plug it in a laptop you just need to take the cable with you. Even tho the cable is annoying
Great comparison Frank! Which one do YOU prefer?
Appreciate the long winded vid, I am gonna go with the dark core since I have a qi phone charger already on my desk and skip the charging cover. You are gonna have a desk submission from me soon
I can vouch for Logitech gaming wireless mouse, I own g700s for 5 years which retire as a working mouse at my office and G900 for 2 years. None of this mouse has given me any issues.
It's worth the high cost.
I can't say the same for Razer wireless mouse. Star Wars, Mamba Chroma, and Naga Chroma share the same issue, spike lags(not delay) that cause the sensor to pause and jump intermittently.
Logitech powerplay wireless + G502 Lightspeed = PERFECT
xZatera until you see the price ..
xZatera I have the power play and the g905
I’ve been waiting for this video ever since he unboxed the razer mamba hyperflux
great video!
*not hating* but whts the point of glowing mousepads (dont say it looks good, i get that) if you can get a cheaper one that
can be better than that
Same
Omar Alsaid RGB mousepads are retarded
Because why not? :D
Remain Unknown Oh shut up Remain Unknown its not everyones thing but wha5s the point of saying that
It has built in wireless charging for the mouse
Really milking the hyperflux
AgarAddicted tbf it's the most recent release
I guess, but then again 3 videos back to back? I'd call it milking.
not really hes a tech youtuber and got many ideas? Why not make more videos out of it lol.
Rogoo not if you want to charge it
I've heard lots of complaints about the Powerplay pad peeling at the sides. I really want to get this one, but is this a common issue?
Hey @randomfrankp what wallpaper was that on your X? lol
Is it weird that i use a corsair headset, razer laptop and a logitech mouse?
Benko Productions nah
I have a Logitech mouse, Corsair keyboard, Hyper X headset and Asus laptop.
Corsair has terrible charging design.
Razer cant work outside unless you bring the mousepad with you.
Logitech wins 100%.
@@alreadyusedname112 I just got the logitech g703 and the powerplay and the g703 mouse is super light. you can't even use the added weight piece while using the powerplay. (which kinda annoys me). but you have a couple of mouse options for the logitech pad, with more too come I'm sure.
lol let's be real, none of you nerds are going outside
Neiri Tanuki Razer comes with a cable for the mouse actually so you can use it without the mousepad but i still think Logitech wins this one
you can just plug an wier into the razer. and its best
if the razer was cheaper i would f with it
I’m building the Corsair pc build you did back in January, are all those parts compatible ? Make a good pc? And can you give some tips on mounting those theee extra fans you had in the parts list that you didn’t install in the video? Please
I bought into Logitech. These mats are awesome, except one annoying thing is the edge for the PowerPlay is very sharp - I had to put some electrical tape where my hand rests if this helps anyone decide to buy.
Logitech did it first and best. Logitech
I don't need a fancy mouse pad. I just need a decent one.
I really like the corsair option. With that universal QI charging it would be nice to have different surface options. I got razer ecosystem on my pc but i really want to make everything wireless. And im liking other options over razers. Awesome video
i have a mix of things
my keyboard is the apex m750 from steelseries, my mouse is the razer deathadder elite, and my headset is the hyperx cloud alpha
Logitech = corsair mouse + razer mouse pad
Just get a steel series mouse pad
Can you use the Mousepads with a powerbank? Software won`t work of course, but would it work charging the mouse??
Good video :)
Good stuff
Out of the 3 mousepad and mice combo
1.LogitechG
2.Razer
3.Corsair
You should still buy a wired mouse instead.
@Michael Carriere can you spot a major advantage in using this than the wired mouse? It must have an advantage as it costs a lot more to make it worth it..
Wired mouse = a less cluttered desk space, and with today's wireless mice, there's no negative impact. Also Razer is #1, Logitech has a horrible design to their mouse and pad, and there isn't any rgb lighting.
Michael Carriere You can’t call that rgb lighting lol that’s literally just the logo
Michael Carriere It’s not rgb lightning, and it’s not superior to other brands lol
Michael Carriere Please explain yours lol I already stated why I believe they’re superior since the statement is an opinion. Logitech tries too hard with their design, making it look unseemly. Razers designs are usually always very tasteful. And they constantly try for innovation, which as a customer from their beginning, I thoroughly enjoy. People knock off this wireless mouse as retarded because it can’t go mobile (even though it has a cable to plug in for that). It’s the lightest wireless mouse out there for gaming which matters a lot in fps’s. If I want a cheaper alternative that caters to the casuals who just bought their first gaming pc, I’ll go with Logitech. But until then, I’ll stick to the rgb king.
Or you could just buy a Qck+ and a mouse bungee
this
could you please make a video for razer lancehead vs logitech g903 comparison
I kind of want to see a video comparison on the ecosystems of Corsiar, Logitech, and Razer. Right now I'm just trying to decide which company has the best keyboard and mouse combo
Logitech +rep
Razer +rep
Corsair -rep
Marvin Adhitya Mulia agreed corsair looks like shit
Corsair is RGB king
lol wut?
@@snowxyy lmfao yeah rite
i bought a corsair mouse and returned it back because the clicks were mushy
in my opinion the 903 is a god -awful mouse to hold frank
yeah it's so ugly
like, low key. i cant hold it since it feels terrible in my hand, and a claw grip is uncomfortable on it as well
how comfortable a mouse is to use is very subjective. Grip and hand size can vary quite a bit between two people.
yeah. thats why I use the G700s. nice arch for my hand and I can switch between palm, claw and fingertip grips if I have to on the fly.
Wargaming Super Noob personally I love the feel of the g903.. I don't know if I can go back to razer after using the g903
I am not sure about the Razer and Corsair pads but our experience with the Logitech Powerplay is as follows: I have had three of these. One was a replacement by Logitech. The issue is that the Powerplay will generate EMF interference while in the charging state, as indicated by the White LED on the pad receiver. I have the G903 Mouse, G910 Keyboard, and the Powerplay. I also use a Logitech MX Master 3 and Performance MX for productivity most of the time. I noticed the mouse cursor while using any other wireless mouse like the MX Master 3 or Performance MX was jittering, and I could not control it while the Powerplay was in the charge state!
As soon as the charge state ended or I unplugged the Powerplay, the cursor would return to normal. As soon as the Powerplay returned to the charging state, the cursor would become erratic again! I also noticed the G903 generated a jittery mouse cursor while the Powerplay was in a charged state. It was not as bad as when using the MXM3, and I could select items, but the cursor was jittering until the charge state ended.
So Logitech sent me a replacement Powerplay, and it had the same issue! Because I use my productivity Logitech mice the most, I would unplug the Powerplay pad to prevent the problem from occurring. When I wanted to game and use the G903 mouse, I would plug the Powerplay back in.
Fast forward a few months, and I started to play Elden Ring on PC using an Xbox controller. I noticed intermittent issues with menu control. When trying to select or scroll through a menu using the Xbox controller, I could not choose anything, and it would jump around! At first, I thought this was a new game patch issue, but it continued to occur, and then I noticed the game was jittering slightly only on the monitor I was playing Elden Ring. When this issue remained after several patches, I discovered the Powerplay was causing the problem when it was in a charge state! Like the mice, once I disconnected the Powerplay USB cable or stopped charging, the issue would disappear.
I connected the USB connection directly to my desktop and other USB ports, but the issue persists. All device Firmware and G-Hub software are up to date. I even purchased a third Powerplay pad from BestBuy, hoping Logitech may have changed something, but the issue continues even on the newest Powerplay. The Powerplay produces some EMF that impacts other wireless devices, speakers, and monitors. I am not sure how the Powerplay is affecting my monitor. Still, it is only occurring on the monitor I am playing Elden Ring on, leading me to conclude the interface is coming through the Xbox controller and maybe producing micro character movement, which looks like screen jittering on my monitor.
I have contacted Logitech again regarding this issue. I have not seen many reviewers reporting this, but I believe this is because most owners only use a Logitech G Mouse, so they do not know the impact on other wireless devices. However, there are a few reviewers who, like me, use other wireless devices and are experiencing the same issue.
Edit: I have noticed my Panasonic wireless home phone has had interference for some time now. This wasn't always the case and If I move away from my desk with the Powerplay it goes away! It just occurred to me that the Powerplay might also be impacting this phone. Sure enough, if I unplug the Powerplay mouse pad all my home phone interference goes away!
Are you going to be doing an unboxing/review of the Razer Naga Trinity???
