Shane, I wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your content. I agree with your idea of balancing freedom with making a living that helps others grow. It’s encouraging to know there are people like you who value living and giving freely. I hope to meet you in person someday. Thank you for being a great guide over the years! Stay strong. You inspire others to emulate your path. Thanks
I loved listening to your thoughts on this Shane. When I have that feeling of misalignment or tension that you talked about, or when I need to make a decision, I take time to reflect on what my head(logic) is telling me, what my heart (emotion) is telling me, and what my gut (intuition, inner alignment) is telling me. I have learned to trust that deep knowing and always feel peaceful about my decisions when I have gone through this process. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us.
I love that! I've been practicing asking different parts of myself about decisions as well. To me, it feels like I can get an answer from my head and heart, but I'm still practicing to "hear" my gut.
Hi Shane, I agree with you, intuition is really powerful! I have two comments on your last point: 1. Doing what makes you feel good in the moment - because that is ultimately what all of your work is for anyway - should be approached with care. Some things that make your experience better take a bit of discomfort and can even feel wrong due to the fear that you have. I know that you don't mean that one should sit in their comfort zone, I think the viewer should just understand that. 2. Some people actually lack practice in introspection and therefore can be misguided if they try to follow their intuition if this isn't their regular practice. Nonetheless, they will feel more comfortable in the present as you've mentioned 😅
Great points! I agree that there's a lot of nuance here. And thinking about it now, I want to find a better term than "makes you feel good" for what I'm talking about. I think that is too vague in a way. What I'm navigating towards is more than just a good feeling... food for thought!
Shane good to see you posting again on this channel brother! This one is very personal rather than just a brand (with much love to your other one as well). How have been things going for you?
Thank you, bro! My life continues to be an incredible adventure. Also, it's continuing to get better and I'm sometimes in disbelief about just how good everything is. Definitely having a great time. I hope the same is true for you!
Intuition is the opposite of illusion. Intuition orients, illusion moves. Since even set goals have always something illusory about them, we can only move in error. Thus, I am somewhat skeptical as to whether intuition can be used purely instrumentally

Thank you, Brian! I miss the community calls we had with you. I always enjoyed what you had to share and the way you share it!

Can you say more about "illusion moves"? I think I don't fully grasp this idea.
