I think the best and most redeemable aspect of this game is the music. It’s so well-placed and it really intensifies scenes just the right amount. Great gameplay, enjoyed every second watching!

This game is impressive, I walk past Massive (Malmö, Sweden) every day on my way to work, sadly I do not work in the games industry but I´ve loved gaming since the 80's.

A lot of people seem upset that this is essentially far cry reskinned as Avatar but I think I’m kinda ok with that. I don’t hate the gameplay style of far cry. Far cry 4 is one of my all time favorite games. I really love the Avatar universe so it’s cool to get a game for it that actually looks nice.
It's not a bad gameplay style.
But it absolutely wastes the potential of an Avatar game. Half the appeal of a game like this is starting out as a human who gets an avatar and then after a certain point in the story, choosing whether you want to side with the Na'vi or the humans.
But since this is a Far Cry game, there is no meaningful choice in the plot. And despite this being part of the Avatar franchise, you aren't actually playing as an AVATAR. You're just a Na'vi.
@@VioletAeonSnowfieldok, that's a specific form of potential, but from my POV, it should've been infamous second son or Skyrim style game instead of far cry, that's where it wastes potential, not in story but I'm the way the universe is shown, imagine the depth of world of Skyrim on Pandora, this game is gonna be forgotten in 6 months and it's a crying shame
I'd be up for it, but I won't buy it because of the Uplay requirement. So I'm just skimming to see if it's worth owning.

"When the main story starts, it’s a bit slow and scripted to begin with, but it’s not long before you’re out in the open world doing your thing. Ubisoft really know how to do an open world, and the jungle sections in particular of Ubisoft Game are just amazing. Those guys and gals really know how to do jungle. There’s also some really impressive AI on display, keeping the wildlife and/or people moving and creating a living, breathing ecosystem around you. You can drive cars or possibly horses and run over people too, which is good. This may make guards attack you, which is bad.
A key mechanic of Ubisoft Game is that control points on the map need to be ‘captured’ to unlock particular areas. Each control point is a challenge and gives you influence over that particular area, and allows you do your parkour or whatever without being attacked by the bad guys. When you’re not capturing control points with your Good Parkour Skills, you don’t have to go and do the main story, although Main Character’s skills don’t unlock until you do which is kind of annoying. There’s lots to see and do. Ubisoft Game is filled with side activities such as This Gambling Game, Beating Up Enemies Until You Are Told To Stop, Looking For Collectibles, and Tailing Somebody Somewhere For Some Reason."

At first, the fact that the game was gonna be in first person bothered me, but later on I didn't really care because of how immersive the world is

Man I sure love the references to both the first avatar movie and the new one. 1:05:03 mentions Jake sulleys attacks on the trains which is shown in the way of the water. And at the beginning where It stated Toruk makto and the clan were uprising. Man I wish I had a next gen console right now.
Pandora is gifted with life and prosperity, in a word, Paradise. The RDA will never understand something about the world and survival tactics. Maybe they have sticks and axes, spears, for that they have a gift from the great mother.

That's the Snowdrop engine update. Important for the upcoming games. To the game itself, environmental design is outstanding. The character physics and embedding of characters into the environment is still mid. FPS and not TPS makes therefore sense.

It isn't the first person cuz I actually enjoyed that factor in cyberpunk overtime, but it's the mad short campaign for that full price, I'ma just wait for it to go on sale

I’ve played this game a few times and finished it within 8-9 hours. Every time I play it I experience new things I love it sm
Here are some tips
-Target the engines in the back (when you use senses, yellow indicates weakpoints)
-In Distant Storm, you can launch the sling as the chopper lands, taking out the troops and the aircraft or target arrows at the rotor blades
The original avatar game was by far 100% better, and it’s out dated. You get to choose what side you fight for, you can use multiple vehicles/animals, including the mechs, even if you choose one side from the start nearing the end you have the choice to switch sides if you wanted (for moral reasons). Having choices that make a difference is what made the game truly remarkable. Plus you get to play the world conquer mode where you have to essentially lead your faction to fully control the continents. Oh also it’s multiplayer with co-op and pvp.
best 4 days of watching this love each character from every clan and sad for those ones who dead or lose their lives
That bug at 8:50:00 is quite annoying. The Na'vi way would literally be to avoid conflict if possible instead of marching head on into a fight but this bug makes that absolutely impossible.

People really have nothing better to do than to hate on this game. Sure it’s basically Far Cry Pandora but I love the Far Cry games especially Primal. I love Avatar as well so they mixed them together. Worth it for me to enjoy every little bit of it that I can.

What program are you using to record? How much effect performance when recording?
I'm a big fan of Avatar and the game looks gorgeous, but honestly i'm not too excited about it because it's Ubisoft, i'm very pessimistic about them. I can already tell there will be lots of bugs and glitches, unpolished and unfinished quality of life features, weird illogical decisions made by the devs, half-baked mechanics, missing or limited features, stupid changes and updated in the future etc.. It's just the way Ubisoft games decreased in quality, and their business model is shockingly weird. I think Assassin's Creed 2 was the last game they've made with passion, love and effort. Everything else is always half-baked, great ideas but poorly executed. And it's a shame the game is in 1st person view, it looks just like every other game and it doesn't stand out. For example it reminds me of Far Cry, Crysis, or survival games such as Green Hell.. It doesn't look very special and unique. It would be so much better in 3rd person view like at 4:33:59, the game would look so amazing with cool animations like Horizon or Spiderman games.

What GPU are you using? It would really interest me, because I play with a nvidia rtx 3070 and get around 20 fps. Amazing gameplay btw. It is crazy how you solved the fourth RDA Basis.

I will be lying if I said I didn't enjoy the first person, as well as not liking it a bit. It definitely doesn't have the same feel as the original game, but it is different. I kind of like it, to be honest.
People said there is an option to turn on third person, so that is nice.
I just saw the part where you escape outside and wow. This game looks beautiful. This definitely deserves to be experienced in first person.
I HATE that this is going to have a crafting system. I'm just gonna go around collecting stuff like in FarCry...
