I love evweything of the US cities, huge cars, the nicest neighborhoods in the world, wide avenues, grass, clean all. 1967, year when I was born. Greetings from 🇨🇱
Parts of that was filmed in Detroit and surrounding suburbs. The slot car track looks like one that was at a place called Tiny Tim's hobby shop on Woodward Avenue in Royal Oak MI
I appreciate this video channel to finding and loading this drivers education film on you tube. I am having my kids who are both teenagers watch this film. Good refresher point for even experience drivers today. We all can benefit by taking a refresher course just by watching this. I love seeing those beauty American classics. It was fun when the aggressor tailgater car was a foreign import VW station wagon. That was funny. I spiked what think was a 1966 or 1967 Buick Rivera parked during the back in parking segment. I love to spot and identify cars from the past. I have my own mid 1960’s classics in my shop. Thank you. God bless America. Drive safe and enjoy life. Be courteous to others. “See The U.S.A. in a Chevrolet”. P.S. Yes, noticed her almost immediately. Drink your Orange Juice😉🙏🏻🇺🇸
No doubt about that. Though maybe it's just me. I'm 6"2' and in the spirit of this film, I've never felt comfortable from a driving standpoint in a Camaro. Not in the '68 my friend had and not in the newer ones (2018 was the newest I've driven). It's the visibility. My '72 Chevelle was better in that regard.
This film has been greatly influential in my driving. I specially thank General Motors, and the division of Chevrolet for making this film. By the way, I do drive a 2010 Chevrolet Impala 9C1 (Police Package); which I enjoy to drive, and is now a Police Classic as I was informed by my cousin.
At 25 y/o my Aunt Mary, bought a new '67 Camaro. Granada Gold, Black vinyl top, Black bucket seat vinyl interior. It sure was a smart looking little car. Thanks for posting this video.
Target fascination? Non other that today's times could this piece of advice be applied to with seemingly all drivers being glued to their phones nowadays.
Brad Leisure lol 😂 me too.... but the funny thing is, back in 1967, that 1961 Oldsmobile was like a dime a dozen! Starfire, Nighty Eight, Eighty Eight, Toronado! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I like looking at the old Chevys & GMS ,had a 60 66 & 68.Were good cars .Love Miss Littlerocks accent.Would not think about buying a new chevy. The quality has gone away. They can keep the newer engines with the PTFE rear main seals that are junk.I used to be hard core chevy.
I want to set the record straight there is some misinformation on the lady who is commentating and her story is not a pretty one. Rosemary Dunaway who is commentating later married former Senator and House of Representative Paul Trible from Virginia. Her name now is Rosemary Dunaway Trible. Unfortunately she was working in my hometown of Richmond Va at the young age of 25 in the 70s working at a local TV station when she was brutally raped across the street at a hotel from the TV station. She is a huge person for sexual advocacy and has since forgiven the person who did this even though that person has never been caught. She's a true trooper right now her husband is the president of Christopher Newport College in Newport News Virginia. She also is sick right now and her husband is taking care of her as far as I know she's doing okay but still not well. She is a true trooper.
anyone else think the Camaro looked kinda stubby, its like someone rear-ended a charger and they could fix everything accept the fact that the car was a foot shorter.
Not sure who you looked up but that's not the same person add up the numbers she was probably 18 years old in 67 which would have put her Birthdate around 1950 according to my numbers in 2021 that would have made her 71 years old. She is married to ex senator Paul Trible who was a House of Representative and Senator for Virginia. she was raped at the age of 25 years old and is an advocate of sexual assault victims. She was raped in Richmond Virginia which is my hometown during its great crimewaves of the 70s.
I think general driving awareness would be improved if student drivers were required to ride bicycles and/or 50cc scooters for a while. If your butt is really on the line, the awareness you need and the courtesy you don't get would be quite the education.

The Camaro had to be one of the best looking cars to come out of Motown.

Daniel Abreu your 2010 impala is not a classic. Lol
@@williswhatchutalkinbout4367 It will be in 30-40 years; however, it is considered a classic in the police force.
8:05 People still need this advice today!
We need this again!! And in every language!!
I saw this film on television in 1969.

Those damn cement walls
notice the nice, wide parking spaces in those days at 12:19
I love her accent
Reminds me of the "It's Shake 'N' Bake, and I helped!" commercials!
@lazo marsh Me too. Lovely thick hair too.
Reminds me of the old preacher from Poltergeist ll God is in his Holy Temple.... lol 😝 or Joel Olsteen lol lmao 😂
But isn't it too "British" for a Southerner?
Gee, I wonder if Bill Clinton was judging that Junior Miss pageant in Little Rock? Watch out girls, the letch is on the loose.
donnie t rump just walks into the teen pageant dressing room and "grabs a Pu$$y" because "when you're a star the let you do it"......
more like watch out for Trump
Wouldn't have squeezed into those spaces in anything bigger than a Camaro.
Why were certain parking lots back in only...?

Yup...just checked on Wiki...she's 79 and still working!
@@stephenmoxley3004 good to know. She did a job in that film.

The girl's accent at the start is very odd, like someone trying to sound southern.
