    Great to hear, that is quiet. About the same as the Q4 that was the go to silencer, but now its so expensive or sold out. The quieter baffles usually lead to more back pressure, and that means more low end power. The open baffles might have more peak hp but its at redline.

      Back pressure doesn't lead to anything. It kills horsepower and torque.

      @@raulx.garcia9387 Wrong. Open exhaust make less power at low rpm, only adding it near redline where u never ride. Back pressure from normal or baffled exhaust make more power at lower rpm, less at redline. If u think u are right, remove your muffler completely and take a ride and feel how gutless it is at normal operating rpm.

      @@tieoneon1614 total and complete bench racing gibberish. The only reason a open exhaust would feel like it has less torque and less responsive is due to fuel and timing. I just installed the same spark arrestor in my Tri Oval, all it did was quiet the bike, made it sound less throaty, made it forest legal, and added back pressure. Didn't stop the back firing which doesn't hurt anything and plugging the AIS hose with a marble will take care of that. Back pressure always hinders performance and never improves it.
      Case closed.

    Great bike, I have it's twin. So glad to see/hear that the spark arrestor reduced db's, definitely the way I'm going. Great video!!

    I have a 23 klx 300 and I have this same exhaust. I just took out the baffle out and installed the spark arrestor one. The stock baffle I felt made my bike run lean and my exhaust pipe right where it comes off engine is turning blue and it was popping a decent amount like back firing. Iv been told thats not good lol. Hopefully with the spark arrestor in with stop that.

    Since you've had the Delkevic on for a while curious to hear how the rear turn signal is holding up. There has been some reports (and pictures) of the turn signal melting from the heat of the exhaust...Thanks!

    • @ribalderr6052
      @ribalderr6052  2 года назад

      its fine. close to it and was worried at first and kind of obsessed with checking it for awhile, lol. but its fine, no distortion, works fine, nothing.
      that back and end carbon part of the exhaust does get hot, but doesnt hurt signal an its been tested well now.

      @@ribalderr6052 That's good to hear. I've had my exhaust on for a few days but haven't had a chance to ride any distance as of yet. Mostly just tested riding around my property. I may add some dei cool tape to the turn signal just for a little added protection. BTW there's a lot of very good riding in n.ga in case you ever decide to venture out of flatistan, Thanks for the quick response!

    I’m new to dual sorts and dirt bikes in general, but what’s the difference between the lengths of the exhaust? I’m wanting to get a Delkevic but not sure what length to get. Any info will be appreciated.

    I like those mirrors, looks better than the stock round ones. Id like to get an exhaust but dont want it to be too loud. Do you feel a slight power difference? Have you done anything with the air filter?

    • @ribalderr6052
      @ribalderr6052  3 года назад +1

      those mirrors are from the super moto model of this bike. an a guy had identical ones he got from e-bay..
      I too, dont want a loud exhaust. with this spark arrestor baffle it's pretty quiet. see my vid/s with no baffle, and the other baffle comes in it.
      Air box snorkel- Yes, thats another vid I did that too. the combination of pipe an snorkel I do feel more low end grunt/torque, pulls stronger on acceleration. definitely.

    Cool vid dude..So i just got my 2023 klx 300..after 600 mile break in oil change n couple hundred more miles decided to put on this same delkevic 14 stubby carbon...added KnN air filter and drilled 3 holes in the lid as well as kdx snorkel...have not put sprk arrestor in as delkovic supply was out and when i called asked them to send me the unit till they re up their supply which they did super cool of them!!!anyway i have no spark arrestor in rn but plan too and the bike is running good staying running when i start doesnt sound crazy riding is fine except when i slow down it stalls so that means im running lean you think?based on what your saying in this vid do uou think the ecu will auto correct when i put in spark arrestor or will i need to seek out aftermarket ecu etc flash/jet all that crazy stufff!!

    • @ribalderr6052
      @ribalderr6052  2 года назад

      congrats on the new KLX! thanks for the view., and Im saying it ran best with the spark arrestor baffle, for sure. same as u pipe n airbox snorkel. did u re-attach the o2 sensor when installing slip-on?. I did.
      first runs with the street baffle it stalled an popped, but got better after time. it takes several runs-stops-shutoffs-restarts an runs for ecu to acclimate to learn new mixtures and more air flow etc, so when u put in the spark arrestor baffle u start it learning again, but give it a few good runs, full throttle included and everything inbetween, shutoff, restart an after a few separate runs doing all this it will settle down except maybe for an occasional pop after high rpm then close throttle, nothing major.
      single cylinder engines will stall at low rpm because theres no other rods on the crank to maintain inertia- just the way it is.
      idle adjustment is easy (a screw by hand) and I reset it after changing baffles an the install- a few times. just be sure doing that after its fully warmed up.
      Ive learned to keep the revs up, and always revving it as I slow down to stop or very slow to prevent a stall.
      anyways- it will all work out with a few runs with the spark arrestor baffle its all together better imo in sound and everything.
      in a few miles an a few runs everything will smooth out an settle down this thing blazes thru dirt and the sand we have here, the suspension is absolutely subLIME!.

    Hey what is the product # for muffler and spark arrestor/ extra baffle ?

    • @ribalderr6052
      @ribalderr6052  2 года назад

      not sure on actual product number. this Delkevic came from e-bay, and I searched for "KLX 300" and it included the spark arrestor baffle., not installed, but included in box. I think they do that because bike has both an enduro and super-moto models. its an easy switch out, 1 screw. I would theorize if searching for an exhaust for the off road only model/s, it would have just a spark arrestor baffle, and installed. ITS THE LAW.

    Great sound! So this spark arrestor is included in the box or you have to buy separate? Also in Amazone there's two choices, one muffler only and the other muffler plus half a pipe, which one did you get?

    • @ribalderr6052
      @ribalderr6052  3 года назад

      included in the box. the baffle it comes with installed is for street. No spark arrestor.
      I did not see this other one with a half pipe?.
      not sure what u mean by that. a shorty muffler, or an additional piece of pipe to make the connection.
