Finally found your car channel, I’ve been following TTB for most of this year. Curious what made you. Hose this brand over AEM, I use to modify Civics as a hobby until I sold my 06 SI 2 years ago. My go to for intakes was always AEM, it was always a noticeable performance boost and a little better on gas.

those are not Phillips heads but a JIS point a little different from our common Phillips size.
what was the sparks on top of the filter after you started it

so a quick question. when you installed the intake did your check engine light turn on? and did the rev match stop working? i got this intake because of the video and my engine light turned on and rev match doesn’t work. i followed exact directions and did not one thing differently.
Did you pull the battery before starting?
It’s a one in a million that you may short something but someone is bound to win the lottery. Check your fuse box hopefully it’s a simple fuse

Interestingly, that sound is all coming from the airbox...The oem Wastegate and BOV don't make much noise at all on this particular car
That’s because most oem systems vent the bov into the factory intake system before the turbo but after the maf sensor so you don’t hear it as much on a factory setup. If you changed to what’s called a vent to atmosphere setup you would hear it much more.

Your post is 6 months old and I was just wondering how your liking your intake if you still have it in? I’m interested in buying one as well just don’t see too many reviews on it
I've had the AFE, PRL, and the Mishimoto. If you want sounds the PRL HVI is what I recommend. If you want performance with the best HP gains with the least amount of heat soak then the stock Airbox with the PRL Stage 1 drop in is your best option. If you definitely want an intake and haven't bought one yet, I'd wait for the Mishimoto CAI that should be released sooner than later. It looks super promising and comes with a new intake runner. The only other legit gains from an intake is the Aventuri which is like $1200

Keep an eye on this. There's sparks in your filter box on startup. Might not be anything but I'm not a mechanic
