The guys are plugged in to a Tone King Sky amp and also a Fender Deluxe Reverb in custom blue paisley finish. Both are mic'd with Sennheiser e906 and SE R1 ribbons mics.
They switch on a J Rockett Tim Pierce overdrive, J Rockett Archer overdrive and an MXR Il Torino overdrive from time to time. Also an MXR Carbon Copy, TC Electronic Flashback Mini delay and TC Electronic Hall Of Fame reverb. All of these pedals are available from www.andertons.co.uk

I’m pretty sure worship guitarists are keeping Duesenberg in business. Starplayer TVs are all over contemporary worship songs and players in churches all over the world are using them. But, man, they sound great for rock and blues too! Nice job with the demos, guys. 👍
"Churches all over the world" lmao you probably mean "churches all over the USA" because here in Europe nobody uses electric guitars in a church. And i think in Africa or Asia it's not that common either because Electric Guitars are not a normal thing to use when at some Islam mosque and i don't think there's many Hindu or Buddhist monks rocking the Electric Guitar either.
@@Zwidawurzn Perhaps I should've been more specific. I meant Christian churches. Christian churches around the world often use full worship bands. This includes the United States, South America, Europe, Australia, parts of Asia and more.

I fell in love with the caribou 3 years ago. Back then it had 3 pickups and was the best thing I ever played feeling wise.
Much though I like the Rob Chapman/Captain reviews this makes a refreshing change. Great format, nice relaxed atmosphere and excellent sound quality. I'm looking forwards to more in the series.
would love it if Peter could do a lesson on some of those smooth rhythm and fills bits he does, such a tasteful player

Awsome Playing and the most beautiful guitars around to my eyes and ears
These guys do an outstanding job reviewing instruments and both are great players. Really wish they would have reviewed these guitars through the exact same amp / settings though. Playing through different amps leaves us guessing what the sonic differences are between these two models.
Beautiful guitars would come to life playing surf on them and alternative styles nice splash of reverb and echo spaghetti heaven

Je ne vais pas tarder à en commander une en france. De plus le look est unique. Elle sonne différent, elle présente différent. Sur les effets bien ajustés et les bons amplis comme ici c'est exceptionnel. Bravo à vous, bravo Duesenberg...

Check out Carl Broemel from my morning jacket. He plays several dusenbergs but the starplayer is his go to. Great tone

I prefer to StarPlayer TV over the Caribou
but it's of course a matter of taste: both are superb sounding guiars \m/

Mootklegg cleaner tones and a proper studio prehaps? anyway definatly agree.. the normal andertons tone is normally super harsh.. prehaps they should use more of a room mike setup so you can get a better idea of what it actually sounds like in real life? :)
I'm guessing a combo of new mics, and it looks like a lot of sound deadening in that room (studio).

the tremolo system is very interesting on the aqua colored one. it's very similar to the trem system of a fender mustang.
great demo-Capt you have got to keep these guys doing the high end guitars and amps-they know how to play clean and slightly overdriven tones to perfection while playing enjoyable music-a pleasure not to hear the gain guy muck it up

I have been looking longingly at the lefty, blue Starplayer TV on Andertons for ages, I would love to try it but it's only available for order.
Not sure I can justify dropping over £2k without trying it first... Yet somehow I'm still thinking about it =(.

Sinds a couple of months I have the sparkle one - I realy must say, my Les Paul, ES335, Strat Deluxe and Tele baya still hanging on the wall- sometimes I grapped them to compare them with the Duesenberg, but hang them back on the wall- strange, when you change your favorite Brands for a Brand who are not so famous is, maybe for that them produced it in Asia and with extra plekwork hier in Germany (I asked them what they here do, but they hold it as a big secret 😂), not with a nitrolaquer, but still highend sounds and feels- great to play - Ideas from my country Germany from Dieter Göldow - I am dayly suprised how my Düse Sunds - ist worthy even the ‚Big Brands‘!
and btw, may I ask what band Peter is with? I'd love to hear more of this guy!
He was touring with a German Schlager Star called Helene Fischer actually. Not really what you’d think when you see him play haha!
