Hey Pete, excellent playing by both of you as always.
The 4-way rotary switch offers both a standard middle-position combo and a funky filtered middle-position setting. So 9 o'clock is bridge, 10 is combo, 11 is filtered combo, and 12 is neck position.
Love both guitars. I have the Double Cat and the Mike campbell and I'm in love with them.

Just a late comment. Back in the day when Fender started building guitars in Japan, a lot of the guys I was working with wouldn't touch one. I was looking for a guitar I could haul around to gigs and wouldn't be too mortified if it got a little dinged (pretty high strung back then...even a fingerprint on my '62 Strat would have me losing my mind !). I bought a burst Japanese made Strat and quickly discovered that it sounded fantastic, was even better built than the full fat Fenders of the time, and played incredibly well.
I still have both and play the Japanese strat more than the '62. I would put the Japanese Strat up against any of the new fenders and i'm sure it would hold it's own.
Offshore built does not mean lower quality.
Dude. The Japanese strats are seriously one of a kind. Would recommend anyone to buy Japanese made strat!
The 4-way rotary switch allows you to choose between each pickup individually or two options of combining them. The first option lets both pickups run freely without touching the frequencies, while the second option filters certain frequencies to give your tone a unique and even more defined character.
It'd be so great if you guys would do like a FAVORITE GUITAR PEDALS of like Ariel and Pete and everyone. Please do a video like that!

Not really been into Dusenberg guitars, but the Phonic pickups look really cool
I love those lightning bolt inlays on the Red Duesenberg, So Cool! But I want the White Duesnberg! it looks So Classy. White and Gold :) I Gotta get my hands on one. The Tones are very Unique and Original to the models. And of course the Playing was So Tasteful and Enjoyable as Usual! Shout out to the Great video editor Rory McLean. I got FOMO without my Hawaiian shirt. Fabian Dead.

Modern classics maybe...Duesenbergs are beautiful looking guitars ....great tones but haven't heard or played enough of them to know if they have their own sound or personality like a Strat, Tele or Les Paul....Would love for you to show case them more and keen for more information and your views of them..

I’m so in love with the sound and looks of these guitars. First time in over a decade I’ve been motivated to get another guitar. Just have to decide which one.
On my tele, the 4th position is the bridge and neck pickup in series, and the middle (2nd) position is the two in parallel! I think it is the same on this guitar
When Pete talks about a guitar I'm like...yeah I need that guitar lol
