I love it. You could even go one shade darker next time. As a former very blonde towhead child, I do indeed know the emotional side of darker - but blondies do actually get darker as they age. This new look is much more age appropriate for you and looks fabulous.

Albeit subtle, I love the darker color on you! It really softens the contrast and makes your hair look healthier.
It looks MUCH better this way! I would say you could go a little darker next time, because it makes your eyes really look amazing, and also the actual hair looks less bleachy/dried out. It's a big improvement and now it frames your face much better. It's much prettier now!

India, you're a stunner. That comes with advantages. Mostly being you can pull off pretty much any shade of hair you want and still be striking. This darker shade looks really nice for the winter. Take as many risks as you want. It grows back, worst can scenario can always be fixed, and really indicates different periods in your life. Keep doing you, whatever that means to you. Take care!

Love the color! I've been doing the same over the last bit of time after doing some intense highlights for several years. Also - on the Christmas decorations front: make sure to check out the After Christmas sales! They always do things for crazy cheap in the weeks after Christmas and if you have the space to store things it can be a great way to build up your ornaments, trees, lights, garland inventory etc.

I really love your new color! It looks more natural on you and gives more dimension to your waves! Going a little darker might be fun too: maybe a caramel-brown? That would complement your eyes really well I think!

It's gorgeous! Such a natural 'beigey' blond and a noticably positive difference. I think it's perfection! I think once you're more used to it you'll likely add some highlights or low lights from time to time which will be less of a big change to you and easier to do with this color, if you just want a tweek of a change. I did basically the same to mine & make those small changes every now & then. How many times(approx) do you refresh in between wash days, please?? Best of luck, Break a Leg on your audition!!XOXO

Wow! Your stylist nailed it! The shade is better for you (a little less cool and pale) yet it is a bit darker, but barely. You could for sure go darker! Obviously, your natural color is a darker shade. But this is a great place to be so you can let it grow out more over time or keep maintaining it with color. Can’t go wrong!
Also, your roots ARE NOT brown. Do you think they are? They for sure are dark blond. I say this as a dark blonde who is currently embracing my natural color 100% right now and for the foreseeable future. I’ve learned to spot the color of people’s roots and see those other beautiful, natural dark blondes out there hiding. 😉 When I started growing out my last balayage (4 years ago) and getting used to my natural color I realized how it started feeling lighter and lighter because I used to perceive it as so dark compared to bright blonde (especially when placed right next to the lightened pieces) and now that it’s 100% natural it feels pretty light most of the time.

I love it! I totally hear you about slight changes that only we notice...my husband only notices if there's a big change, which I guess, is good. It's very pretty and subtle, less in your face than the white blonde (which is also stunning but in a different way). This is perfect for Fall & Winter!
I did it about 8 years ago. My hair is so much healthier , my curls are incredible! I miss the blonde but I do not miss visiting my stylist every six weeks!
I think it’s beautiful! I personally think you could pull off a chocolate brunette really well and it would offset your eyes spectacularly. But I get that it would be a HUGE change for you and also require new headshots. This is really gorgeous and you don’t need to take any new photos! 😊

I don’t know that I’d push for darker, though I’m sure it would be amazing. Also coming from a life-long natural blonde 😅 maybe push for slightly more dimension with a few strategically placed lowlights? It helps blonde pop without being white blonde.

Hello India, you look beautiful! I have exactly the same hair pattern and color: I was sooo blonde when I was younger and I stayed blonde until 30 more or less. Then I slowly turned darker and darker and now, at 41, my hair are defintely a sort of light brown-grey (but I still don't have real grey or white hair). I usually highlighted them because I was used to be blonde! This year I finally decided to give up on highlighting because I think becoming older is such a privilege! So I' m going to let my hair be natural: now I have residual blonde on ends and I'm waiting to see how my hair will look.
I definetely can understand the challenge of the change!

I’ve been light blonde ( dyed) for many years( natural ratty brown). But I saw a picture of me when on a tour in Canada from a cruise. I was not wearing makeup. I looked almost invisible. So I went a little darker, sort of a red/ish shade.
I’m 75 and my family thinks I should cut my hair and let it go grey. Well that picture showed me it would be awful. I do want to stay blonde because when my hair grows out a little the grey blends in.

You are literally me last year.. after bleaching it for 14 years (since I was 10 lol) I finally went natural!! At first, it feels stsrange to give up the blonde locks but trust me you're gonna be so happy because it's gonna be ✨healthy✨
OMG! I love it! I was a VERY blonde child and over the years with no longer swimming competitvely my hair has gotten darker and for YEARS I would dye it blonder but I just recently dyed it darker. It definetly was an adjustment but I like it. My mom was the most surprised and my boyfriend loves it. You do you girl!

It looks good, it's just a darker blonde. My natural color is " dirty dishwater blonde" which is the lovely name of that dark ashy blonde we both seem to have. One good rule of thumb is you can never go wrong with the color you had as a kid, it will always look good on you. Also, as a fellow blonde I should warn you : pregnancy will darken our hair. Each pregnancy. Hormones do it. No one told me that, so Im passing it on.
