Both believe that the world should be a place where the weak should perish and the strong should thrive. Both also have a one-sided admiration/love for one of the heroes. There are other connections but those are the major ones. Who I think wins Vanica - Stats plus Curse Magic is simply too much for Esdeath. Who will I try to commission next? I'll give you a hint. Not exactly my preferred for Esdeath, but I like the feel of this track. It's hardcore and intense, yet there's a subtle taste of fear like how despite how crazy these two are, they're also intelligent and ruthless. A terrifying combination.

Esdeath dying highly depends on how much you take statements (and some feats) at face value Because getting Esdeath to 5d ain't hard following those rules(yk by mentioning how she taught herself how to freeze the 4th dimension) And 5d is multi+ and imes

I hadn't paid attention to who the characters were upon first clicking that so when the beginning of the track was actually really quiet I decided to increase the volume a bit. Well let's just say I think I lost a few points of audition due to burst eardrums. Which is a shame because damn that song's epic. It definitely has the brutality that's expected of a MU featuring freaking Esdeath but it also has that "glorious"/"noble" feel to it in a lot of segments (IE: 1:00-1:38) that just *screams* "you are *SO* inferior to me, peasant" and that I find absolutely wonderfully included in the track and, for obvious reasons, fitting of the characters (or, well, at least Esdeath given she's the only one of the two I even remotely know.) I also like the fact that, even with the sheer brutality and "holier-than-thou" atmosphere this track has, there's still a vague feeling of sadness and even tragedy that's felt, particularly at certain points (IE: 1:51-2:16/2:41-2:56) that do get across, altho with some subtlety, how even despite the fact that they're almost comically evil, they still have a backstory that calls for being *that* evil. I'll also note the very beginning of the track that I mentioned earlier along with the 2:56 bit, specifically the fact that they both jump from extremely calm segments to absolutely bonkers ones with no transition. It's a great reflection of the characters and their own personality, for example the fact that Esdeath is borderline neurotic and snaps at pretty much anything and anyone at the slightest of provocation. A great way to include that character trait in the track. Finally I'd like to mention the very end of the track at 3:21 and beyond which sounds weirdly almost "offkey". It sounds like a piano melody is trying to play but is distorted in a way that makes it sound sombre and off in the right way. It's a good way to represent how the characters have that very noble look and surface to them while they're absolute monsters beyond that. And of course it also doubles as a great way to showcase that, whoever loses, the winner is probably gonna be left within an inch of their life but still trying to hold themselves high, as if that was nothing despite their almost lethal injuries. Again, a really nice show of character there. Overall I do admit that I *really* like this track. It combines the aggressivity of metal with the epic of orchestral music which is already making it start off on really good bases but it also fits the characters (or, like I said before, the one I know remotely anything about) greatly without sounding badly in any way. It's extremely catchy and enjoyable to listen to which is the absolute opposite of what the two characters involved are, ironically enough. Definitely an amazing job with this as always.
Everything you said about how the song fits Esdeath also applies to Vanica. They are both very similar characters. "I don't understand the feelings of the weak. The law of the world is survival of the fittest. It's how the weak are weeded out. It just means those people that died were too weak. It's only natural for the weak to perish." "I want to get all fired up with the tough guys who manage to survive in a place like that. Humans who are weak enough to die don't interest me." This perfectly illustrates the brutal nature of Vanica and Esdeath and their messed up ideologies. But also has the sadness since they too were once weak little girls before outside influences corrupted them.

Now this is a battle that I would love to see. Two of my favorite characters from my two favorite anime. Not only that, but Esdeath is my favorite anime villain. For those who are going to say it, no it is not because of her looks.
My only question with this matchup is the same one I usually ask when it comes to Esdeath MUs, does Vancia have a way to counter or otherwise survive her trump card Mahapadma? (Great track, very intense in the best way)
Vanica has two Magic types. Blood Magic and Curse Magic. Vanica can maybe get around Mahapdama with Curse Magic: Decaying World. But if that doesn't work she has a ton of other spells she can use. Such as Curse Magic: Exploding Life and Curse Magic: Unbound Slave. Honestly Vanica may just blitz Esdeath before she can activate Mahapdama.
Vanica likely can’t resist Mahapdama, but she still has way more options for winning the fight. Throw in Megicula (because 100% Devil Power go brr), and there’s practically nothing Esdeath would be able to do to effectively end the fight.
as someone who loved Lost Iced Storms, I was hoping someone comissioned another Esdeath track and this one doesn't dissappoint. Can't give my oppinion on the MU cuz I'm not into Black Clover though.
I dont know alot of vanica but esdeath is continental idk if vanica scales to the high tiers of black clover if she does then yeah she wins Also banger track as usual man never miss
At the very least Vanica scales above the the Salamander who's capable of vapourising an ocean (which has ben calced to around 80% of moon level) and the Black Asta who beat Ladros after absorbing the Salamander (Asta at this point in the story scales to Salamander in his base, and Black Form 1 is x4 his base, so that's around 320% of moon level) with all this being from chapters in the 80's - but being a bit more thorough and drawing on feats from closer to Vanica's appearance in the story: she also scales above the likes of Reve (who can create an infinite sized realm), Captains Battle Yami (who destroyed an infinite sized realm, Edward Avalanche (who can create Absolute 0 Temperatures), Patri and Zagred (who are both stated to have infinite mana), and would scale *to* her brother Dante who was shown creating a Black Hole through compression (all three of the Dark Triad are stated and shown numerous times to be relative to eachother). So uh, yeah. Still a really cool match-up thematically, and using some lower scales (like just using Salamander w/o upscaling her for example) I think it could be a really interesting fight to watch.
@@SeiyaTempest actually they kinda has more connections both are orphan at a young age and both characters had a impossible dream but they never give up until they discovered that they had a dark power hidden inside them and could threaten their verse (asta had the power of anti magic and liebe being a devil and sougo used ohma zi-o powers) both use their power for good and every hardship they encounter they always push through and obtain new power but both were treated as villain because of their dark power ( teg royal fear asta because he had no magic and had a devil and some heroes want to kill sougo so ohma zio won't exist) both had suffer the lost of their friends life ( Geiz and gauche) by they villain ( Dante and swartz) and both snapped and give in their dark power ( asta sacrifice his arm for more power and was so angry at Dante and sougo become ohma zi-o to kill swartz) both fight their inner demons and accepted them ( asta accept liebe as his brother and fight all the devils and avenge their mother and sougo and ohma zi-o both agree to restart the timeline and so everyone can be happy and alive but sougo still accept his fate even he restart his story and in a special event both main character has to face a powerful foe in their world who wants to destroy the world ( black clover sword of the wizard King and kamen rider zi-o over quarter movie) both asta and sougo fought the main villain but get beaten by them ( Conrad Baraclxs) and both and their friends fought them and both characters fight against their foe again but in the final attempt of the villain both asta and sougo where helped of heroes of their past ( the past wizard kings and past heisei riders)

@@cbrown218 From what I'm aware, Esdeath maxes out somewhere in the continental ranges, meanwhile Vanica upscales significantly from the Fire Spirit Salamander as a baseline which is capable of burning 1000 Ri and Vapourising an ocean - both of which have been calced to multi-cont, the latter being around 80% of moon level. Vanica *can* be scaled WAY higher than that though, but that might be considered excessive based on what *I* know about her opponent (though I will freely admit, Ion know shit about fuck when it comes to Akame Ga Kill scaling - so Esdeath might have higher metas I'm not aware of). As for speed, I can't speak to Esdeath's unfortunately as I simply don't know, but even when Low-Balled: Vanica should be tens of thousands of times ftl because Black Clover decided to introduce Lightspeed in chapter 40-odd and ramp it up from there.

@@blackbluealexv2I don’t think Vanica has anything that could resist Esdeath’s time stop, but at the same time, Esdeath doesn’t really have anything that could effectively end Vanica. And since Death Battle takes characters at their peak, the best she could do is put Vanica in a death-like state, which would bring out Megicula, and there’s NOTHING Esdeath can do against that thing.

I don't think so since Vanica's Decaying World may automatically activate by the time Esdeath uses Mahapdama. Granted I am not sure if Decaying World will effect Esdeath but even if it doesn't Vanica still has a ton of other Curse Magic to throw at her.
(Made up scenario btw lol) If this fight ever happened, I could see Vanica rising from 50 to 70 percent devil power throughout all the fight against Esdeath just like she did in the anime when she faced the Heart kingdom’s crew. They both laugh manically as they fight and catch their respective soldiers in the cross fire of their battle. **Manga spoilers** Vanica goes 100 percent and is gaining the advantage over Esdeath who is forced to use her trump card. Since Vanica doesn’t have a particular counter to that, she is literally frozen and Esdeath lands lethal blows up until her ability runs out and Megicula comes out…

Now this is a battle that I would love to see. Two of my favorite characters from my two favorite anime. Not only that, but Esdeath is my favorite anime villain. For those who are going to say it, no it is not because of her looks.

My only question with this matchup is the same one I usually ask when it comes to Esdeath MUs, does Vancia have a way to counter or otherwise survive her trump card Mahapadma? (Great track, very intense in the best way)
Vanica has two Magic types. Blood Magic and Curse Magic.
Vanica can maybe get around Mahapdama with Curse Magic: Decaying World. But if that doesn't work she has a ton of other spells she can use. Such as Curse Magic: Exploding Life and Curse Magic: Unbound Slave. Honestly Vanica may just blitz Esdeath before she can activate Mahapdama.
Vanica likely can’t resist Mahapdama, but she still has way more options for winning the fight. Throw in Megicula (because 100% Devil Power go brr), and there’s practically nothing Esdeath would be able to do to effectively end the fight.
As somebody who watched Black Clover and Akame Ga Kill, I could see how the title Devils In Spades fits Vanica, but how does it fits with Esdeath?

as someone who loved Lost Iced Storms, I was hoping someone comissioned another Esdeath track and this one doesn't dissappoint.
Can't give my oppinion on the MU cuz I'm not into Black Clover though.

All of the dark triad are equal in power so vanica should be multi continental to small planetary scaling off of dante
Yah Vanica is small planetary at least considering how we scales above planet level fighters from the Elf Arc
At the very least Vanica scales above the the Salamander who's capable of vapourising an ocean (which has ben calced to around 80% of moon level) and the Black Asta who beat Ladros after absorbing the Salamander (Asta at this point in the story scales to Salamander in his base, and Black Form 1 is x4 his base, so that's around 320% of moon level) with all this being from chapters in the 80's - but being a bit more thorough and drawing on feats from closer to Vanica's appearance in the story: she also scales above the likes of Reve (who can create an infinite sized realm), Captains Battle Yami (who destroyed an infinite sized realm, Edward Avalanche (who can create Absolute 0 Temperatures), Patri and Zagred (who are both stated to have infinite mana), and would scale *to* her brother Dante who was shown creating a Black Hole through compression (all three of the Dark Triad are stated and shown numerous times to be relative to eachother).
So uh, yeah. Still a really cool match-up thematically, and using some lower scales (like just using Salamander w/o upscaling her for example) I think it could be a really interesting fight to watch.

@@SeiyaTempest actually they kinda has more connections both are orphan at a young age and both characters had a impossible dream but they never give up until they discovered that they had a dark power hidden inside them and could threaten their verse (asta had the power of anti magic and liebe being a devil and sougo used ohma zi-o powers) both use their power for good and every hardship they encounter they always push through and obtain new power but both were treated as villain because of their dark power ( teg royal fear asta because he had no magic and had a devil and some heroes want to kill sougo so ohma zio won't exist) both had suffer the lost of their friends life ( Geiz and gauche) by they villain ( Dante and swartz) and both snapped and give in their dark power ( asta sacrifice his arm for more power and was so angry at Dante and sougo become ohma zi-o to kill swartz) both fight their inner demons and accepted them ( asta accept liebe as his brother and fight all the devils and avenge their mother and sougo and ohma zi-o both agree to restart the timeline and so everyone can be happy and alive but sougo still accept his fate even he restart his story and in a special event both main character has to face a powerful foe in their world who wants to destroy the world ( black clover sword of the wizard King and kamen rider zi-o over quarter movie) both asta and sougo fought the main villain but get beaten by them ( Conrad Baraclxs) and both and their friends fought them and both characters fight against their foe again but in the final attempt of the villain both asta and sougo where helped of heroes of their past ( the past wizard kings and past heisei riders)

@@cbrown218 From what I'm aware, Esdeath maxes out somewhere in the continental ranges, meanwhile Vanica upscales significantly from the Fire Spirit Salamander as a baseline which is capable of burning 1000 Ri and Vapourising an ocean - both of which have been calced to multi-cont, the latter being around 80% of moon level. Vanica *can* be scaled WAY higher than that though, but that might be considered excessive based on what *I* know about her opponent (though I will freely admit, Ion know shit about fuck when it comes to Akame Ga Kill scaling - so Esdeath might have higher metas I'm not aware of). As for speed, I can't speak to Esdeath's unfortunately as I simply don't know, but even when Low-Balled: Vanica should be tens of thousands of times ftl because Black Clover decided to introduce Lightspeed in chapter 40-odd and ramp it up from there.

@@blackbluealexv2I don’t think Vanica has anything that could resist Esdeath’s time stop, but at the same time, Esdeath doesn’t really have anything that could effectively end Vanica. And since Death Battle takes characters at their peak, the best she could do is put Vanica in a death-like state, which would bring out Megicula, and there’s NOTHING Esdeath can do against that thing.
@@tyforestreacts Yeah I agree, Vanica did escape literal sealing magic but it’s not the same as Esdeath trump card. Though Vanica does scale higher in speed compared to Esdeath but both of their anime and manga versions have the same AP.

I don't think so since Vanica's Decaying World may automatically activate by the time Esdeath uses Mahapdama. Granted I am not sure if Decaying World will effect Esdeath but even if it doesn't Vanica still has a ton of other Curse Magic to throw at her.

If this fight ever happened, I could see Vanica rising from 50 to 70 percent devil power throughout all the fight against Esdeath just like she did in the anime when she faced the Heart kingdom’s crew.
They both laugh manically as they fight and catch their respective soldiers in the cross fire of their battle.

Vanica goes 100 percent and is gaining the advantage over Esdeath who is forced to use her trump card. Since Vanica doesn’t have a particular counter to that, she is literally frozen and Esdeath lands lethal blows up until her ability runs out and Megicula comes out…
