Thank you! No stories or music montages, just the info I need, presented well and succinctly. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
And no weird camera angles and focus tracking.
I was looking for a video to send my brother on how to care for his trees since I'm on the other side of the country. As an arborist this video is very well done.
According to this video he just has to ask you a million questions
I appreciate this video as it is concise and clear. Thanks Lowe's!
Great info in a short video. Straight to the point.
Great video, thanks Lowe's. I now know how to go about pruning my trees.
Thanks man, speaking the word of God through gardening. Super awesome.
I was just reading John 15 and wanted to watch the pruning process!
@@ChasingReal Me too!
The local power company hired a tree trimming outfit to clear branches on the power pole. They were cautious of the power lines of course but cut down the telephone and cable lines.
Lol what?
Very useful video. About to trim my birch tree 👍🏻
thank you for coving the news as you do
This was fun to watch
Thanks for the info my tree needs a lot of pruning today 👍
This video really covered everything
very good and helpful video!
Awesome video thank you.
wow this video was amazing very very informative!!
Important work.
The tools we use to prun trees are a hand saw sthil in tree saw and a saw zaw with a pruning blade
Great tips, thanks!
Thanks for the info.
Wow, yeah that was really good. Thank you Lowes. 👍🏾
Muchas gracias
This is the TVA, hands in the air.
Great video!... thanks
Thank you! This is very helpful.👍🏽
Thanks for the video! I have 2 camphor trees both planted in 2002. One is huge but the other is about 1/7 the size and thickness. How do I trim it to make it thicker, fuller?
Thank you, this guide helped me so much!
nice
Also, never put sealant on a cut--you would potentially be sealing in insects, bacteria and other microscopic materials that could damage the tree. The tree can protect itself by walling itself off at the cut.
This is good up to a certain height.
This was not mentioned in the video. Pruning tools should be cleaned between cuts (even on the same tree), especially when cutting trees or shrubs that may have diseases. Cleaning your tools helps prevent the spread of pathogens like bacteria, fungi, and viruses between trees. Wipe the blades with a clean cloth or paper towel dipped in rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol, 70% or higher) or a 10% bleach solution (1 part bleach to 9 parts water).
Alcohol is often preferred because it is effective and doesn't require rinsing. Also, you should use the 3 point cut for everything except the smallest branches (twig size).
Wow 👏
Nice
Best time to prune is when the saw is sharp
How do I know it’s diseased?
John15:2❤ just came to see how the process of pinning is and why and how it benefits us
Same here.
Sammeeee 😊
I’m here because of John 15:2 😊
🤡
Me too 😂❤
😂me tooooo
Same!
ok
Oh, its like cutting cancer out. Heard the term and thought 'this has nothing to do with prune juice what the heck?'
Saying consult your arborist after every step is absolutely no help.
It is a bit, though. It’s letting you know that if there is uncertainty or a specific type of issue, defer to a professional as opposed to risking it yourself. This is also a 5-min video from Lowe’s, so you’re not going to get in-depth.
It's help to the lawyers and insurance companies that represent Lowe's.
@@vipe650r Not everyone can afford a professional, which is why we're searching RUclips for guidance.
@@Valreea For sure. That being said, if that’s the case, it also means there are certain things you either just don’t get to do because of risk, or that you need to know that there’s important missing information that needs to be searched out before you potentially put the tree, people, or your house at risk.
Absolutely helpful. This is a biological science. It can't be expected of non-professionals to commit themselves to the years of learning/experience neccesary to know what to do.
No the ladder
Awesome fantastic sup amazing
Why do you prune
hmmmmmmmmmmmm
not blonde enough...
I wanted to find this helpful, but seeing the tree in the background there that is “volcano” mulched makes me question how much this guy actually knows about trees. For anyone who doesn’t know, volcano mulching is bad in the long term for trees. Rather, mulching should be done in a “doughnut” with no mulch around the base of the tree, and then extending out to the drip line.
You obviously didn't watch the entire video. He used that tree as an example of how the mulching is *wrong* . Keep your soup cooler shut until you know the facts, woman.
Woah there stinky
It was used as an example of what not to say do. Don’t comment unless you know what you’re saying.
This guys had a boring mono tone
