- This is one I've been trying to get online for about a month now, RUclips was being funny about giving HD. I think the intro that it did have (some Limp Bizkit backed intro of a sped up entry to the stage after having beer and chips) was failing a bitrate test and when I removed it and reuploaded, it worked first time :D!
Enjoy!!

i swear radiohead were on fire during that whole kid a period, no hype, no advertisements, no logo, just great tunes
No hype?
They had just escaped an abusive contract and started working for themselves. It was probably beyond freeing.
@@innapinch7112 nooo this happened after httt. Kid A period was just creative freedom
They did have a logo during this time tho. In fact, the iconic modified bear logo made its debut during the kid a/amnesiac era
@@tonnynaomi3926 wasn't "No Logo" the working title for Ok Computer ?
When thom hits those notes in how to disappear... it takes me to another place, somewhere where everything is good and there is no pain......fucking brilliant
thomyorkeonacracker
hehe... yup me too!
I wish he could still sing like this. it's heartaching to here Thom hit all those falsettos.
I saw them perform that song. I can die now

👍
The whole band is great obviously, but does anyone else think Ed is kinda underrated? So many of his parts shine here, and I think his contributions are less obvious than say Thom or Jonny, but no less important to songs.
Ed is so underrated
Ed's a genius. his contributions are every bit as important as Jonny's. none of these songs would work as well if you took his parts away. the camera work might not focus on him as much as Jonny, but thats the only reason why..... theyre a 5 piece band with 5 legends.
"Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed" - Ed
Yeah they definitely tuned his guitar up here. Incredible stuff. The my iron lung performance gave me chills
Exactly what i started to think just after a few songs
Damn, Thom's face in the everlasting peace part is beautiful
36:00
Morning Bell is so damn good.
Kid A/Amnesiac probably the best era of Radiohead
Yes.
I think it is The bends- Ok Computer - Hail to the Thief - In Rainbows...
Picking a favorite Radiohead era is hard, but ultimately I'd have to go with that little bit of time in between Pablo Honey and A Moon Shaped Pool, lots of great stuff in there.
I agree. Amnesiac all the way duuude.
Hail to the Thief/In Rainbows for me, the band felt more chill back then.
24:05 really made me laugh. The audience has absolutely no response.
I think they simply don’t understand what he’s saying. I can’t figure out what he says and I’ve been living in the US for the past 4 years. What I hear is sth like “I see so many managed to respond to the moon this evening then” lmao
@@basti8742 He says "I see, err, Sony (have) managed to sponsor the moon this evening then".
Ahh now I hear it haha thank you!
@@RadioheadConcerts I thought you quit RUclips lol
@@violethill4454 not as active as I used to be, but this channel will stay as long as RUclips will allow it. I've had to disconnect with Radiohead/Thom/AFP due to personal circumstances, but I'll forever be grateful for the role they have played in my life. I hope to find them again in the future, I still regularly play their songs on guitar, but I haven't listened to their music in over a year and a half.
Nigel rocking the tambourine during In Limbo, cool to see him on stage
Nigel on tambourine for In Limbo!!!!
1:04:28 Thom hits a phat dab
hahahaahahah
LMAO
What a set list and the crowd isn't even into it, I would've killed to been there.
The crowd was *super* into it. It's a huge outdoor venue so it's hard to tell. A really incredible experience, the best concert I've ever been to.
I was there in row two or three and I can assure you I was into it! One of the best Radiohead concerts I‘ve been to.
The joke about the moon at 24:03 makes absolute sense when you see how HUGE it is at 20:47
the best Concert i`ve ever seen
jelly
i´ve ever heard, i must say...love this Music.
Radiohead at the height of their genius. They played an amazing setlist here, equal parts loose and focused. In between the releases of Kid A and Amnesiac (2 days before Amnesiac dropped, actually), they have that swagger that signaled to the world that they held the keys to the future of music.
Thank you so very much. I have missed this tour but now able to enjoy it. All praise!!
It was an amazing gig, it was a nice suprise to be find it on youtube. Thank you AustinBrock, it bring's back great memories!
This is one of their best concerts that so fascinates me!! Along with Astoria, Glastonbury 2003, Bonaroo 2006 and Hammerstein Ballroom!! The atmosphere of the crowd are priceless, the're fucking brilliant!! I could watched these concerts over and over again. The're the best band ever imo!! Long live Radiohead, love you guys so much!!!
I've mentioned it in another comment, but this concert was the best I've ever been to ... and I've seen a *lot* of bands. The venue is incredible -- beautiful and sounds *great* -- + Radiohead. After the concert a lot of people camp out in the parking lot as it's a 3 hour drive back to Seattle. So an all-night after party in the parking lot -- complete with DJs and dancing and all sorts of fun.
feels good to hear Dollars & Cents, such an underrated track...
In Limbo has to be the most underrated RH song ever. Perfection
Both Jonny and Ed's jackets are on point, and the music even more so. Brilliant era, so stoked to be seeing them this may.
Thank you for the track listing. I needed that.
Wow I loved this, thanks for the upload. 'Packed Like Sardines in a Crushed Thin Box' is almost never performed and they played it in this festival, such lucky audience. Cheers to the great-creative minds they are.
Great Radiohead post and concert. I bought the double vinyl of this concert a couple months ago. Fabulous recording best bootleg I own. Totally awesome to see the show. I am impressed with Ed's vocals not being lost in the mix. Thanks
John
Jonny playing the xylophone is one of the purest things ever
That's beautiful!! Thanks a lot, man!!
Freakin' great video! Thank you!
I always wanted to watch the full rock am ring concert. thank you austin!
wow! thnx for all your work and for this great collection of yours!
I was there... first time seeing Radiohead ever.. I only knew songs from OKC and I was absolutely mesmerized and blown away by this performance and I’ve been a huge fan ever since
O my God. The best best live gig in the early days! Flipping out!
I was there in 2001! It's still one of my favorite live experiences ever...great atmosphere, great gig!
Thom Yorke getting so immersed in performing "Idioteque" that he rips the microphone off the stand and leaves them dangling from each other for the rest of the song without noticing is a big damn mood.
watched this live with my family while on the car, their reaction to thoms dances is gold😭
I have been there, 18 yrs ago. it was fucking cold, rainy and i felt sick. but the concert was a blast. thanks for upping!
thanks !! really great!
gonna take the liberty of replying to myself just to reiterate how utterly astonishing the guitar work is on Morning Bell
The light show reminds me of a show I saw in San Diego. maybe the same tour. I think it was the first time I saw them, and remember the drumming had me hypnotized. Thanks for posting this.
Where'd you see them in San Diego ?
Amphitheater in Chula Vista. I think it was corporate branded as Coors then. Many moon shaped pools ago.
I didn't know they played there ! And I live there haha
This was the absolutely best concert I've ever been to. I've seen a lot of incredible bands, large and small, before they made it big ... but The Gorge is the most beautiful, best-sounding venue and, well, Radiohead. Seriously.
I will never forget this amazing live concert..it was awesome and propably the best i have ever seen.. 2001, where have all these years gone...
pretty sure this is 2 days before amnesiac came out
You're correct.
Wooow
it was 4 days before
La mejor versión en vivo de How to Dissapear está aquí.
Es una obra de arte.
Awesome!
it has been a long time since the last time that I've listened radiohead. I was born again!
the overall perfection is overwhelming
@ AustinBrock: thanks for the uploads they make life worth living d;-)
Spectacular audio! 😙👌
One of the best gigs ever
2001 was to me maybe the best year of radiohead...watched this gig live on mtv almost ten years ago, damn time flows!!!
This was my first ever festival right after I finished school, I was 19. I remember it like it was yesterday. Not a lot of people in front of the stage, really rainy. I never heard of Radiohead before and I don't even remember any other band playing at Rock am Ring that year, but Radiohead playing opened a door in me that since then has never closed. I literally fell in love that night. Thanks Radiohead, and Thom see you in Frankfurt next week :)
War ich damals live beim Konzert, es war einfach magisch und wohl die beste Radiohead Ära...wo ist nur die Zeit geblieben.
Finally someone have uploaded this in HQ! I have the DVD of the concert and the video quality of it it's really poor (it's like always in 144p)! So seeing this in HQ is really great!
I love that you can hear Tool in the background. Would be a nightmare deciding which to see.
Royal Stinkfist
Royal Stink fist
at what times can Tool
be heard? weren't Tool touring Laturalis at that time? thank you:)
God yeah, man... I've seen both bands; Radiohead last year and Tool in 2009. I'm partial to Thom and the boys.
Radiohead obviously. I can’t stand Tool.

in limbo is just BEAUTIFUL!
This whole concert is amazing but Jonny on that amazing KP piano segued to the amazing IMBW guitar is special indeed.
Spending the day off digging thru radiohead set lists
This is a treasure!!
Love Ed on keyboard (!) and Nigel on tambo (!!!) during In Limbo

I've read somewhere that Phil also plays guitar and does some lead singing!
@@jasonswearingen7138 he has a solo album, look it up! He has a surprisingly good voice
This show is absolutely incredible, the whole performance
last 5 minutes of "Everything In It's Right Place" Ed sitting crosslegged on the pedalboard dictating every sound. that man is a genius
The Best Concert Sound Quality
The National Anthem was a perfect opening and How To Disappear Completely was a perfect closing here.
everyone is allowed to enjoy such a wonderful concert however he wants. I saw Radiohead last year and also didn't move too much :)
This setlist would have made an amazing live album. My son thinks it's very cool that I saw them back in '95. Don't know how I feel about that, proud or old.
There’s actually a bootleg recording of this show on vinyl. Sounds surprisingly good, too
I have vinil and its sounds diferent than youtube version but sound is not dynamic and shalow
Gracias por este aporte amigo
Thom Yorke is beautiful. His fragile, uncommon physical beauty, and his soul which touches everyone with its yearning, longing, unanswered pain. I just love this man genius.
What a way to start!
Thank you very much for uploading! Much appreciated! (:
ok son
A live show with Radiohead, must sound like listening to 5 different bands for the layman with no Radiohead experience. I just love how the keep on playing their old songs aswell. Talk show host - maybe the most played B-side ever live =) They must really like it - and so do I.
My favorite all time song from OK and probably second to Pyramid song all time mate! Def a classic I look at it as.
Una banda unica
Best concert of Radiohead!
I was at this show. I'm not sure why the crowd doesn't come through but there was energy there. Radiohead came back for two encores, so they felt it too. They played a different venue (Alpine Valley) next time they came through and remarked they couldn't top this show and didn't want to try.
I might be wrong, is my go back to Radiohead song at the moment
Jesus Christ this is a really really REALLY good concert, the people that were able to see this are so lucky (tee hee) I wish I hadn't been 6 when this was recorded...
I was there! Stood in the 2nd row standing in front of Jonny Greenwood. It was an amazing night.
WOW!!! WISH I WAS AT THIS CONCERT!
@MSepol YEAH!!!!!!!!!!. That's one of the greatest moments in music history, The 6 Radioheads playing in stage
best version of morning bell
I think this 1:15:14 moment will be stuck in my head and heart forever.
They are on fire!
Used to have this on vinyl and gave it as a gift to a close friend, lucky friend, unlucky me
glad to grew up with this group
Nice bit of the 6th member during in limbo! good ol' nigel we salute you!
Good God Ed.
soooo good....
The best... Exit músic, street spirit lml
Este concierto fue un deleite .....
Best concert I was ever at
National Anthem and Idioteque are really good songs and played very well in this show. They always are but love the flavor .
Got into Radiohead 2007. All the gigs missed. Its everything NOT in its right place
It seems that the best concerts are the ones where they up the tempo on most of the songs. Like National Anthem and Optimistic. When they are slower, it seems to take some of the pop and energy out of the show. But when they rock em, it's just bliss...
That ondes outro put me in a trance
Nothing beats the 97 Hammerstein gig for me. Incredible gig.
You can be frightened, it's ooookkaaaayyy
Radioheads performances are fucking intense!!!!!!!!!!!!!
