There is such a fine line in discerning.
Thinking everyone has critical thinking as we were taught in early childhood/teen years.I have with respect, people have their way of thinking and doing things only to come to find out about this dysfunctional cycle that causes narcissism. Narcissism interferes with normal steps in interacting with a person/ people, to have growth within yourself and with each other.Instead it promotes division and strife all the time.
So,it can be hard to discern and understand which is which with these types of people.
Also, with yourself because are actions can be affected by their actions and reactions.

The thing that is most irritating to me is that they were such strict Catholics, they called for the priest to come over instead of getting medical help. The priest decided that he could remove the restriction of fasting during Lent since she was sufficiently sick. As I recall she got over it after a three or four hours. My close relative had a narcissistic collapse when she was 40. It developed into an acute psychosis and she was never the same after that. She went to contact with her siblings and father accusing them of talking badly about her behind her back. She became tve opposite of her previous grandiose self, behaving oddly and doing the opposite of social norms. There was never any connection, never any depth or reciprocity. Behaviourly and socially she became a basket case, while incredibly retaining a sharp intellect. I don’t know how that’s possible…?

4:24 _”This collapse usually begins around the the age of 40. That’s why narcissists around this age groom their supplies even MORE …”_
OH MY LORD … about a month after I got sexually assaulted by my female doctor, I got _another_ which stopped me in my tracks to try to figure out what the hell was going on.
I realized this person had zeroed in on me and had intimate access to personal information on me. I asked myself, ‘how could I even the score?’ So I eventually figured out that she is 39 years old.
Not only had I been taken in by her charm, I was also taken in by her attractiveness too. But here she was, turning 40.
When I saw her the last time, she was about 8 months pregnant with her FIFTH child.
This was the day I saw behind the mask. She could now see that I wasn’t taken in by her superficial “beauty” anymore. I think I witnessed her having part of this collapse too.

And that it holds on fear to oppose. because if a separate person does it, will be defeated. I could never immagine that people dont know a person whom they see on everyday bases. The question is that people are too UNINFORMED and do not know the NAME if the psychological disease. Need just much more information so that people are on the same level informed as about alchocholism or diabetis f.ex.

I saw her mask slip really early and my sigma traits (strong boundaries) meant none of her devaluing and gaslighting (LIES) worked. 3 days later she faked a suicide and ended up in hospital for observation. She never came back to the house. I believe she ran out of supply and had nowhere else to go. I sincerely hope she got the help she needed at the hospital but I suspect she also lied to the therapists. The chances of them using a collapse to get actual help is slim, very slim.

Well I had a strong feeling that this defines the person I recently just left
I wasn’t there very long I was there for 2 1/2 months I’ve had a lot of experience with narcissist at varying degrees and levels on their journey. And this is just part of my life because those injuries and those wounds that were created were meant to open me up as a spiritual worker
And I understand that you get to a point in your life when you’re asking like is it ever going to end like is this all there is did I not learn everything I needed to know?
I knew that there was a good possibility that he was a narcissist but I gave him an opportunity because I’ve known this man for 32 years. I had never known him to be like this he was actually raging on the phone before I left and drove 600 miles to see him for the first time in 25 years. We were very very close at least I thought we were For the first eight years of our relationship but it was strictly platonic and he was basically friend zoned I wasn’t looking for a relationship I was looking for myself
He lived with me for about a year because he was in dire need of a place to stay and many many years later I would go stay with him for three months get a job working overnight
While my children were sleep because daycare was very expensive and he’s claiming that I had a babysitter which I did not know that he also made up a lot of stories about me that he was telling me over the phone and in person when I saw him that we’re not real. I also realize that he had this pattern of Ramirez with women and I was one of them after he told me a lot of things that I didn’t know About the time we spent together and I was eight years
He even confessed that the fantasy is often times much better than the reality so I think it kind of ruins his fantasy when he attempts to have some type of relationship and reality
Anyway it was pretty bad I got out there and he was such a severe hoarder his dog had been neglected emotionally and also his health was being neglected and I had to dive into that because there’s no way I could stand it anymore he was completely ignorant and didn’t seem to care was emotionally unavailable and removed and that’s essentially what our relationship was like in the first 2 1/2 months so I called it quits and left I tried to communicate as much as I could with him letting him know where I stood and why I left and the problems that I found that were happening in our interjections and failed attempt at a relationship. And of course it was met with a lot of sarcasm and cruelty and there was a lot of gaslighting
So it got to the point where I just really became annoying and I had to block him on social media
There’s a lot of things that concerns me about him energetically I feel strongly that he has some serious issues outside of narcissism
But he’s 54 years old so when I arrived and I listen to him talk he repeated the same stories over and over and over again for 2 1/2 months but the majority of what he was conveying to me was about his failed relationships with these women and of course everything was their fault he played no partner took out responsibility or accountability for anything not really
And I think he was trying to make a point and almost an example out of them like a warning for some thing possibly but he definitely sounds like the person you’re describing someone who had a collapsed who started becoming his own narcissistic supply and who bamboozled himself into believing things that were simply untrue for survival reasons because ultimately that is why a narcissist is trying to do is survive at any cost
It really was a very sad sight to see and I do understand that he shares this in common with his father because his father is very much of the same thing and I know that he spent plenty of time around his dad and Nicole seem to be very inverted or introverted is probably the better word And that’s probably where he started masking all this strange coping behaviors and deliverance as well as all of the awkward behaviors that he didn’t want anyone to know about him became a narcissist himself I truly believe his dad is a narcissist from the stories that he shared with me and me in the first eight years it was only upon re-acquainting with him that he shared anything till I really don’t know who I was dealing with but I ended up nicknaming him Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde because that’s exactly And he reminded me of this was a person I didn’t recognize and nine I’m just glad that that part is over

I think it's a new COVID strain."....even though she's a nurse and tested negative for COVID. He son would check on her and said she was in the furthest room of her home, in the guest bed in the corner. Normally she treats her son and our parents badly but when her 2nd supply guy left her she was calling them crying about how "sick" she was, just needing supply. He had his temporary "together " times, but they were short lived and as the years went on the shorter "together" spats became compiled with more insidious thoughts followed by vindictive actions and pure rage. He always had the rage, but then he hit a point where he started claiming that some invisible, secret society or group were communicating with him through various ways like license plates that were stopped at a light around him, emails and notes that I wasn't given the privilege to see. One time he walked around the house with a machete because he swore that he was being followed on his way to pick me up from the hospital (surprise, surprise he was late, very late).
