- Relax as pull the keepers from my complete set of 1991 Topps Stadium Club baseball cards.
My videos are best enjoyed using headphones or earbuds.
This video was produced with relaxation in mind and hopefully has some ASMR qualities. Too much stress is harmful to your well-being and in today’s fast-paced world, stress management is more important than ever, and so I hope this ASMR video acts as a stress reliever for those watching and a sleep-aid for anyone having a difficult time falling asleep.

It makes me happy every time I see a Kirby Puckett card. I spent many hours collecting his cards. Wish I had them still.
Jamison Rabbitt my dad has a lot of them but there worth very little now
What most ASMR vid makers don't get is that talking slowly and calmly is the key to great content
Yea tons of them do this stupid rapid tapping, it's not relaxing at all...
@@yeahtbh.161 Rapid tapping can be great. But - if you rush through every section of your vid, while talking fast... Then it becomes bad very quickly
Ik i hate when people just talk like Whisper but like talk fast while whispering.
Please continue with these. I find them very relaxing and nostalgic simultaneously
I'd keep the Ken Griffy Sr cards just cause it was his last year playing ball and its one of the years father and son played on the same team.
You may not know what Bo Jackson's card is worth, but i can assure you... Bo knows.
Tree fiddy.

He's got the air thing.
I know that 90’s baseball cards aren’t worth anything but i love all the twins team sets from the 90’s.
I watch this video all the time! The voice is so relaxing, and I've always thought flipping through pages of cards is relaxing as well.
Yes! I wish he would do more of these videos nowadays!
Just made a pot of tea and I’m snuggled up and ready to sleep good tonight!
Won’t you have to pee?

I have no idea about baseball, but I still found this very relaxing. I really like your videos where you are going through old collections. Thanks was perfect for my Fathers Day lunchtime snooze!
There’s something so nice about joining along with you doing something in real life. Super relaxing, thank you!
If you have any 1990 Topps laying around, look for the Frank Thomas with no name on front. Worth thousands!! Love the nostalgia!
I would really enjoy seeing more of these types of videos. I would also really enjoy seeing more of your "stuff" that you are throwing away. I have a lot of respect for you even though I have not personally met you. You take your time with everything and have a lot of appreciation for the things you own and I respect that very much. Anyway, thank you for the new video R. Stay safe and cheers
What a lovely video. I was wondering though, for us non-Americans, could you make a video about baseball cards and baseball? I think that would be really interesting to know about the history of card collecting and why some cards are expensive and others are inexpensive. Do people still collect these cards? Thanks! Ps. I hope Mrs Relaxing ASMR has recovered!
Baseball cards first started to be used as advertising for cigarettes in the early 1900s. They would put a small piece of paper w a player and their name inside the pack of cigarettes. I may be wrong about the year, but a (maybe 1915?) Ty Cobb Card is the most expensive card and the only known one that was on the market is now owned by the Owner of the Arizona Cardinals football team.
@@mason698 Honus Wagner is typically the most expensive card.
I love, love, love this and I've been waiting for the part 2! Thank you! Please do more baseball card videos!
Please do more of these. So soothing. And I like seeing your collection.
Thanks! Perfect for a nap. I fell asleep about ten minutes in and woke up around the hour mark.
I would love to see more of your baseball cards. The other baseball card videos you've done are among my favs.
Please continue to create videos with sport cards. Great videos, they bring back a lot of good memories!
This is wonderfully relaxing! Its a simple idea, but its just so calming!
I love your baseball cards videos. Very relaxing and nostalgic. I also have this set as a hand collared set. It’s still sitting in a box in my closet. I still semi-actively collect Jose Canseco. I have tons of his stuff from cards to game used baseballs and bats. Usually takes me a couple tries to get all the way through these videos due to me falling asleep. Thank you !
Canseco was my favorite player...had around 300 different cards of him, most were off set prints. ( Can't remember the term for them)...good times
These were all my favorite players when I was growing up. Thanks for sharing.
Andy Van Slyke card. #119
Youre so kind i appreciate these videos you help me so much
I have watched this video multiple times before bed and have never finished it! Thank you for helping me get to sleep!!
Glad I could help!
Yes, my bed time listening sorted. Thanks Chief. I hope you are all well.
Great video! Sports card videos are some of my specialty too.
this is soooo relaxing, yet so intetesting 🤤
definitely do some more, very relaxing
Thankyou for making these videos
Enjoyed this very much 😊
That is a really solid collect.
once again amazing video ❤️
I almost threw my phone when he totally ignored Dave Stieb 16:05
Instead of throwing them out give them to your patreon supporters or perhaps a young collector!
Love the cards! Would you ever do a giveaway to your fans for some of them?
Oh man I would keep all of those cards! That's history right there.
not to mention that having a complete set is worth more than having a single card
this is really neat
The Minnesota Twins won the World Series that year. Makes it a special set.
Good video im having a hard time keeping my eyes open but thats a good thing
Hope you do this with your other cards. This was so nice to watch and listen to. I know you have some Star Trek TNG ones and I saw you have hundreds of NBA ones.
Thanks for another upload! Have you watched the SB Nation 6-part video on the Mariners? I don't even like baseball, and they made me interested in it. Highly recommended. Cheers!
Awesome!
you should make some more baseball card vids
YOU ARE THE BEST!!
Awesome video. I have a coin collection book, and it feels relaxing to flip through the pages (:
That is awesome!
great videos
When I saw it was 91 i had to watch.
Baseball cards again ❤️
You skipped Bonds! He was just before Bo Jackson
I'm falling asleep driving while watching this video.
You have a Tesla?
You come back 🤗🤗🤗
Great video, you passed by Gary Sheffield. Hope you went to get it
Side note...Jeff Conine hit a late inning go-ahead home run in the 1995 All-star game to give the American League the win. He was also named the 1995 All-star game MVP. He was a member of the Florida Marlins at the time.
Skips right past Barry Bonds while staring at him 😆. And if your gonna keep Carlos Baerga, how you gonna skip my boy Sandy Alomar? Love the video.
The best way to determine the value of the cards is to look up the ebay completed sales for each card. Most of these are $.50 - $2.00. Griffey and Frank Thomas are probably your best cards. If you want more money for them then you can submit them to a grading company (PSA, BGS, SGC). However, submitting cards like this is a gamble because the only way you'll make money is if they get a 10 which is very tough to come by. The graders use a 10x magnifier. So if you closely inspect the cards for imperfections and dont see any then you can make a calculated gamble to get a 10. A griffey 10 can go for $100
My only goal at the moment is to thin down the collection to almost nothing. Had thought about keeping some worthless cards of favorite players but am now rethinking that position and may only keep the so called best of the best from each set/series. After that will probably do very little with them other than put them in single sleeves and get them out once in a while to look at. Oh, I also intend to database them to make it easier to follow their value.
@@RelaxingASMR completely understand. I have many cards and haven't sold one!
More!!!
Frank Thomas, Rickey Henderson, Roberto Alomar, Jeff Bagwell, Gary Carter, Jack Morris, Robin Yount, Tim Raines (Rock nickname) and Tom Glavine are also Hall of Famers. Deion Sanders however is not a baseball Hall of Famer.
I don’t know much about cards but I thought maybe a whole complete set would be worth more than individual cards ??
Unfortunately, the companies that printed baseball cards became so greedy around 1988-1994 that they mass produced cards to the point where they aren't worth the cardboard they're printed on. Monetary value anyway. I have this exact same complete set that my deceased grandfather bought me when I was kid so for me its priceless.
honestly, i would take some of those royal cards
👍
More card videos!
Not into baseball cards but it pains me that he’s throwing away so many mint condition cards
I've got hundreds of them in a similar binder in the attic. Not worth anything now.
Always been curious why dean always skipped cards. Was he hammered when he made those lists?
By now you RE ALL EYES that like everything else, baseball has seen better days. Do they sell hand - autographed cards?
Please do this again sir
You should do mic brushing asmr
So sad. Opening a wax box of cards use to feel like playing the lottery.
Wow
During these ridiculous and asinine times, it's nice to escape back to a time when life was simpler and humans loved accomplishment.
Got any more card videos in you? Hope all is OK at least.
Would you sale the cards that you don’t want, or are throwing away?
20:44 That's my last name! He's like one of the only famous ones...
Lol same
You know Deion is not in the mlb hall of fame right?
I was listening to this, and I s*** my pants, but it was so relaxing, I just said screw it laid right back, and fell asleep anyway!
You may already know this but those cards aren't worth the prices unless they've been graded by PSA as gem mint 10. And even then, Dean's prices are on the high side. The whole set raw is only worth maybe $30 or so.
Craig Biggio! 🤘⚾️🇺🇸
You should let go of your Bonds Brilliance 24 K card lol.
I think a lot of people would love if you’d do a give away of your card set
Willing to sell the George Brett?
Just buy the whole set, 600 cards for $14
How much for all the cards u don’t want
I collect tv guides
So does Frank Costanza
These here, I've been saving since the beginning.
- Frank Costanza
Rickey Henderson is only worth about $1.50, but Henderson cards are always worth SOMETHING. He's a top 20 player of All-Time.
Also, sorry, but you are grossly overestimating the value of most of these guys cards. Unless it's a Jeter rookie card, junk wax era (late 80s - mid 90s) cards arent worth much, unless theyre graded a 10.
Sorry to keep commenting, I'm commenting as I listen, I was surprised that you were talking about the Braves Greg Olsen and not Gregg Olson the closer for Baltimore, he had a great career (with a couple of bad years thrown in there) - won ROY with the Orioles in 1989, 3.46 career ERA, very solid. His cards are worthless, but thought he was worth mentioning.
Please donate the cards you don't want. There is someone out there who would love to have them.
Yes, me !
Don’t throw them away. Give them to a little kid
Kinda breaks my heart that baseball cards are virtually worthless now...but at least it gives me a reason to never get rid of them lol no point anymore
Is dis man a collecter
from your first video, I think your list skipped #220
If Deen's list is correct and most of those cards go for around 40 cents, and you have 600 (probably more like 900 cards counting all the extras), that's 240-360 bucks for that binder of "worthless" cards. That being said, you'd have to find someone willing to buy them all, which I have to admit probably wouldn't be worth it.
It's also that if someone wanted a complete set of these cards, it would only be about 14 dollars, so nobody would want to pay 200 dollars when they could get the same thing for much less.
This is what we did before computers...
Lee Smith on the Cards? Blasphemy.
You could definitely give them away or sell the set... as a set.
Eric Yelding?
That’s one for the trash bin.
Albert Belle
Not sure if you’re aware of this but the popularity of sports cards has exploded over the past few years with card values reaching ridiculous amounts. I understand these are from the “junk wax” era, but I’d hesitate to throw anything away at this point.
Você fala muito alto
Don’t toss them!
Ah... the sublime ASMR of worthless baseball cards from the early 1990s.
If you haven't already, you certainly shouldn't throw the remaining cards away. I'm sure there are some subscribers here who would happily take them off your hands
It Sad to watch all that money going down the toilet. 💸🚽 wooosh
Did you say throw away? I am deeply disappointed but I understand
Yeah I know. I have quite a bit items to part with and have even toyed with the idea of creating a tier on my Patreon page for my stuff and giving it to my patrons.
Personally, I never saw the point in baseball cards, so I was always into Pokemon cards instead.
