Hey fella, nice to see you put pressure through he expansion vessel during draining, i always do that so as to minimise the possibility of water coming out as you lift it off and take it out, plus it's lighter. I haven't noticed any of the other guys do it. keep em coming.
Hi Nigel, thanks for the feedback! If I’m honest i have only recently started doing it having watched it on a you tube video myself! But it makes so much sense and works really well!
Hi really enjoying your channel & tips good luck with it If you get chance to cover show how you deal with low water pressure at taps, block pipes & air locks Look forward to your next video Great channel
Thank u for all the work you put into your videos and I know every installer has their favourite boiler but given all the disadvantages and cost of Worcester boilers plus generally shorter warranties and more difficult installation (no rear piping for example) did u use one for this job ?
Happy Birthday mate! Keep going and thinking of all the positive things when life gets you down. Thank for the vids! Great for people like me getting into the trade. Would be good to understand how to price up work.. obviously not with your personal figures, but how you work out how to cost, what jobs are per hours or per call out, whether some jobs you know you won't get paid for some time as part of a bigger project. Subscribed.
Hi Ollie, thanks so much mate i really appreciate that! Its always a complicated and sticky issue when you start talking about money and it’s honestly one of the things I struggled most with when i started! Let me see what i can sort out for you and see if we can start some conversation!
@@TheFriendlyPlumber cheers mate. Its not even how much money is how you calculate it and when do you expect payment if you're doing first fixes through to completion. But anyway great vids, hats off to you for even doing YT vids on top of work. Keep going 👍💪
Hi Terry, thanks so much! I am a sucker for a Worcester bosch cdi classic and always have been! I learned the trade on wb boilers so its more of a comfort zone than anything else! I also find the flueing and commissioning so easy with wb! That being said im starting to find my self looking elsewhere as there is so much great stiff out in the market and dont want to limit myself to one manufacturer!
Great job again. Out of interest have you used or tried a thoroughflush machine??? Thinking of investing in one just after some opinions. And happy birthday 🍺🍺
Hi Andrew, if im honest i had never even herd of it before i saw it on pb’s channel bit looks like a useful piece of kit! Especially if you then run it through the Adey rapid flush as well! My only potential downside i can see is it relies on the mains pressure you have and thats not always sufficient to move the debris! But everything has pros and cons just got to find what works for you!
Hi Jon, Great question and mitch has definitely already given you one way! Another is to use the manual, also there are directional arrows printed on the jig so you can always look there and lastly all modern Worcester bosch boilers have the return on the right and straight into the pump! Hope that helps!
Thanks guys. I was thinking more on the lines of say I'm pulled up some floor boards and there was 4 copper pipes how would you tell. Would you use mitch method?
Happy birthday mate. Small question, in a previous video you banged on about clipping pipes especially plastic. I didn't see any in the loft! Not criticism just an observation. Cracking video by the way.
Hi Paul, great question! It was a little difficult to see but the pipes were sufficiently clipped both below and above in the loft there is always a ballnce to be found between spending time and money on re doing other peoples and work and making the job the best you can! If your not careful you can end up working yourself out of any profit! So you have to find the sweet-spot! Or at least try to! 😂😂
Nice video ,especially the jolly face 😀.
Keep them coming pal well done

That’s two of your videos watched, both with floor standing boilers. Are there still lots around in domestic properties ( excluding oil ) ?
To be honest no i see very few! If i do it tends to be the high flow combis! But even they are fairly few and far between!
Happy birthday great video what is your go to combi brand and why.

Happy birthday fella... this might be a stupid question but how do you know which it's the flow and return? 1🙁🙁
turn the heating on and what pipe gets hot first is the flow
