I personally get lots of sleep, eat well, and try to keep my stress levels down.

All of this is very important, but we need more research and large laboratories with large funding, aiming at new technologies, drugs and tests, at the cochlear level and nerve repair and so on. The cure actually turns this way. All these aspects help to avoid but cure tinnitus, which is something possible, it seems that science underestimates this problem. Which is terrible. Cancer has billion-dollar investments while tinnitus is treated as something simple, which is not true.

Good post, I agree about the diet and alcohol. These have no affect in moderate quantities. Only in extreme amounts. Try to feed the positive. Easier said than done I know. Just a shame Hyperacusis treatment wasn't talked about given that 30% of Tinnitus victims suffer with this terrible affliction too.

Great video! Thanks for all that info. I'm 67 and have had tinnitus for at least 20 years. I just obtained my first set of hearing aids. My question is what percentage of hearing aid users with tinnitus see a reduction in the severity of tinnitus, just by using hearing aids? And if so, how long does it usually take?
