Haden Deegan, is for real . I have watched him for a decade grow up and he has great line choices and work ethic. It's him that is twisting the throttle. Not his dad who you can tell loves all his kids and wants Nothing but the best for them . Like any good father . But for anyone to hate on Haden is ridiculous . I want to see him win many championships and stay safe . I'm so glad that I got to see him grow up because of the technology and the commitment of documenting his journey. I wish more of these fathers like Reed and Villopodo , Ferry, ext... would let us get to know them better and their families. I love this sport and I'm 63 now and my racing days are over . So now I feel like Haden is one of my 7 grandchildren. That I can cheer for in good and bad times . I just think it's cool and I respect this young man so much . So ya I don't like it much when someone hates on Haden. But I understand how jealously can rare its ugly head . As for me I am so proud of all these young talented kids , the boys and girls. There is no feeling in the world like riding and racing a dirt bike . And there is room to like them all .

I like your interviews I like your commentary I like your honesty and that you are a straight shooter Straight Shooters are so much more pleasant to listen to then somebody else who stumbles through an interview following an old narrative or standard narrative instead of trying to get new content. Chase has great style he's a good ambassador and he's a tough son of a gun because he's taking some gnarly hits and he gets up and Soldiers on like a warrior so Props to Chase he will be a champion, he spend it the hard way and deserves every inch of it, School of Hard Knocks), hopefully Haiden will be right behind if he can avoid the Achilles heels of injuries that has plagued all the good riders.

I think the problem with amateur racing is you're taught to ride balls to the wall for 4 laps and you're finished. The more races with longer motos are generally better for the sport and teaching these kids about being able to ride for 20+ minutes rather than just sending it for a few laps. Chance Hymas is another kid that just has picture perfect technique every time he's on the bike and that's going to translate so well into the pro ranks.

Deegan is Awesome and is definitely one of the bright young stars of the sport but when you look at his age of 16 and compare him to Jett at 16 its juts crazy how insane Jett is. I think Haiden will definitely have a very good chance to win a 250 title but when he gets to the 450 I just don't see him being able to beat Jett.

Chase is spot on the pros u have to think while ur dancing an any little kink in ur style armour is gonna be seconds per lap may be more if u dont have all the bugs out...the 250 an 450s those guys have their A game working all day every day...i was trying to get a ride with a race shop after racing moto gp...an i started working at the shop...an the wanted me to coach an be a race mechanic an team manager an he was telling me this kid is already a multi champian...backvthen the 450s were the 250 class an he said that whole field is chsmpians either from lorettas or 125 champs moved up...its why it was so tough...i thought no way these kids are faster than me....ok i take this 16 year old kid out to practice before his pro debut..first lap hes warming up an i see how well he works the bike thru this little turn....an i go shit...hes faster than me (tim ferry)...most important i ask his dad how is when it comes to practice his dad say i get in trouble if i dont bring 6 gallons of gas so he can ride 3 hours straight...ok thats very good hes self motivated....excellent...makes team managers job easy...

A lot of kids had a bunch invested and didn't want to put in the work. It goes both ways. You gotta want to put in the work and pretty much give up your childhood. And Haiden has done that so far

@@dakotasheets8939 sure but deegan had a coach from day 1 and the facility to train every day. Of course you have to put in the work but if youre putting im the wrong work till later in life then you have bad habits and its hard to break bad habits especially at high intesity. It takes both the work ethic and the resources. Huck is a perfect example of having 1 but not the other.

I'm not so sure. Looks like he's got what it takes, but I've spoken to a few industry insiders when I was in Cali and they're not so sure. I think that's why KTM let him go without much of a fight over Star really. They'd have absolutely kept him if they were all in.

Four strokes allow slower or non-talented riders to ride faster than their ability which contributes to the poor form and more injuries. Almost anyone can go fast on a four stroke until they crash.
Haden Deegan is probably the most talented rider coming up out there. So fast!

Deegan can be a champion, but he has some mental training to accomplish first. Too many people pulling him in different directions, as a young kid he doesnt have the life experience to know what correct choices to make. In my opinion I believe the best thing for Haiden at this point is to separate from his dad being his coach. His dad never had the championship mindset, so I believe Haiden needs a coach that can prepare his mind mentally towards becoming the fastest rider in the world. Same goes for Sexton, Chase could be the fastest guy out there, but his mind wont allow it to happen.

I literally grew up with some of the richest kids in America in Fairfield County Connecticut you'd be surprised how many of them grow up with everything and turn out to be absolute nobodies. I know quite a few people whose family started businesses of all size yet they turn out to be the failure point. I've seen almost none of them use everything to their advantage and become something reputable(I was homeless the only reason I knew them was because I had a scholarship to go to the high school

I like deegan and think he has so much potential, But I honestly feel like he needs to lose some races before he goes pro tho.. look at villiopoto and alessi for example.. or AC and Cooper Webb. Alessi and AC won EVERYTHING growing up. Than couldn’t handle losing when they got to the pro level and their careers went downhill. I hope that doesn’t happen to deegan.

Tomac went from the b class to win his first 250 National pro class. Now that’s special! Deegan looks good but so do a few other riders in the b class do.

Haiden is legit. Just watch the way he scrubs, whips, shifts, turns and even how he has different line choices from all. he likes to late apex which is the fastest apex. he likes to jump and wheelie trough ruts he has that European style. He has fun while riding. He backflipped a bike when he as 10... dude wtf is wrong with danger boy. just watch how he rides scooters and BMX. he's a natural. im always impressed when he cuts corners, its like he jumps all the ruts just like Ferrandis and Jett Lawrence.
