You’re exactly correct sir! The riders today r way to serious! I mean all sports r serious, but at least show the fans some love! Say something besides” thx to my sponsors” if you wanna be a favorite ,,show some laughter smiles and fun, like Jett does!!!
i have never thought about supercross as a sport lacking personality. there have alwaya been a lot of great personalities, at least in american supercross i have always thought. but ya if they market better and use guys like jett, they could definitely make the sport much bigger
Travis is the most funniest person to be around and knows the limits. I been a fan since day one of this guy and I’m 41 years old and still a fan and enjoy watching the crazy shit he does and really knowing his limits and just glad this man is still with us. Jett boys are definitely contenders and future champions they definitely can and are fast enough to do it.
Was racing hunter back on 65cc he was riding for kts then, the mum looked after the boy at the track while Darren worked huge hours to pay for it all, family of legends
You've got no idea ... JETTSON 2012 on a KTM 50 at QMP Queensland Australia YOU knew then he be exactly where he is now ... not because of the riding talent alone but because of the type of people mum & dad had raised them to be ... of all the pro riders that used to come through the park the attitude was a definite stand out ..
There's so many kids that have "it" and are phenoms on minis, then they don't carry it over to the big bikes, or injuries, distractions, drugs (usually opiods) and burnout causes a lackluster pro career when they were supposed to be where Jett is at... I can't count the amount of them. So yes, he was amazing as an amateur... not the best, he surpassed expectations if you were to judge him based on his mini days but he kept the passion, had a work ethic, and didn't allow outside distractions and didn't take himself too seriously and think he was the best and then get his ego crushed turning pro and getting beat at first, that can do a number on kidd who all they did is win everything as an amateur, so he kept that steady progression that's still going on right now and you can tell he's a sponge that soaks up everything that's said to him and doesn't keep making rhe same stupid mistakes a young pro makes. With all that said, a couple small changes and he could of been one of those "shoulda coulda woulda" cases... and we won't know 100% until he's on a 450 against past multi time champions. But when he moves up, his biggest rival will he sexton... most other top guys right now will be gone or on their way out, so chances are good of coming in and dominating. I think his technique will fit a 450 well, he rides a gear tall and not too high in the RPM's, that makes a 450 easier to ride and helps carry momentum. Very long rant cut short, a lot of kids are supposed to have been in his position and their parents sold everything to do it and it didn't work out and some aee left only with a drug addiction and what could of been combined with a shattered family circle.... that's the dark side of this sport and it happens every single year in the amateur scene. It happens with kids who you know aren't going to make it as a pro and you're wondering what's going through the parents head...you wanna be supportive, but you wanna he logical...even with a kid like Jett, it's still a gamble, let a line a kid who's 10th in 250/450A at the amateur nationals. Only the 1% of amateur racers make it to the pros and make main events... 1% of those riders make a true living they can retire from after their racing career is done and their bodies hammered, it's a short short window that's up in the blink of an eye. I tried just making night shows (not mains) and making it in was like winning the main event for me... and i trained my butt off wirh a decent bike, Diet was tiugh on the road and finding a supercross track to ride inbetween driving to the next race is like finding a needle in a hay stack, and then you just hooe they let you ride... if not you gotta go ride an outdooe track on supercross suspension just to get seat time and then go hit the gym at the hotel and hope you get a good gealthy meal. You'll see guys at a local track who are fighting to make it in to the actual races at the pro level and think "how can you possibly go any faster" and then you see a guy like Jett with them and he's lapping those same guys in a few laps... it's mind blowing the difference in speed, lap times themselves don't do it justice
I literally had no idea about the 3rd brother Tate.. God bless him and what a great personality! I wish motocross/supercross would go more in depth with awesome riders like Jett and Hunter to make people more aware of everything.
I find that he often talks a lot of crap in his interviews, he says a lot of stuff that goes threw his mind without really filtering it. I know he is still young and hopefully he will change that but still I don’t find him to be like Travis in that way
Very very awesome. Travis Pastrana input is great. "Don't do anything I tell you" Such a nice family. Thanks Red Bull for a more in depth video of the Lawrence family. Come on boys, supercross 2022.Cant wait, good luck. I know everybody is cheering for you guys.
Jett has the most personality in motocross since Jeremy McGrath. It's so good to have somebody in the sport that is having a blast and injecting fun into it.
Love this new series ! Jett & hunter are my favorite 250 riders and I can’t wait to see their futures ! I saw hunter win his heat at Daytona 2021 live in person and was so stoked for him ! Can’t wait for this season , they’re going to kill it 💯🤞
I think Hunter is more responsible for Jett's speed than anyone imagines. Jett was the little brother who had to figure out a way to quit getting beat by big brother. That brother rivalry is what made Jett ride on another level.
Watched Jett make a crazy comeback from last to either top 3 or 1st, can't remember off hand, at Arlington a couple months ago. It was insane to see in person how much quicker he was than everyone else and how much harder he rode. Legit went for broke all 3 Motos. There's a reason this kid is so popular and he deserves all the success.
Hey The guy who influenced me and most of my riding friends over the years was Jeremy McGrath he and Jett remind me a lot of each other,Jeremy was a super great guy when I met him at a party in the 90's. I've not met Jett but think he would offer the same respect and just be a down to earth person at whatever level he's at just like Jeremy was Jett could be the next fastest man on the planet
The lawrences are rockstars, hope the plans go on and elevate the sport. If a single family can do it, thats the one. Didnt even knew about tate, really cool to cover him up aswell 🤟🏽
He really has the potential to be the role model for the MX Community that Valentino Rossi was for the Road Racing World! cant wait to see what the future brings for him
Incredible how quick their minds work, that was millisecond reaction. The front was going & if he kept the line he was planning he’d of crashed. But he decided to sit it up & cut the line instead of following the natural arch of a corner.
Can't wait. I'll be there too. Awesome that they're making this an east/west showdown race. Moving this race to the Atlanta speedway really makes this one of the premier races of the season. The track is awesome!
Jett your killing it Bro! my son loves watching you race, he just finished his first amateur year of Motocross in Vermont, and New Hampshire, he got 3rd, and 4th in the Championships, and thats with missing 2 events, because of a nasty crash, he a bad concussion, a cracked nose, and bruised ribs, but he still came back up in the points, to get on the podium for the Championship in both states.....Jett you should go with Team Green, i havent owned a Honda sense i was like 10 with my CR60R, some people at the track last season seem to like the Factory Honda, he had a 2021 Yamaha, and once he rode the Factory Honda, he traded the Yamaha rite away, but the new KX450SR would suit you nicely sir AMERICA STRONG STAY FREE LONG LIVE THE REPUBLIC
In a sport lacking personality, I'm so glad we are getting these kids coming up. It's going to be fun to watch!
you know it..all those egos are gonna clash..the problem is gonna be the simps causing problems

As an Australian it is so kool to see the American moto legends and race fans embrace the Lawrence's as their own.
As an American the Lawrence's are some of my favorite riders❤
I've always liked aussies! Would love to visit there one day
@@DuecedYT Australia is amazing. I don't want to say the best, you'll get offended. 🤣 Australia is awesome!
@@MichaelJeffrey I'll get offended? Sorry buddy I'm not liberal, that's funny tho. Plus I wholeheartedly agree with that statement.
@@DuecedYT then head on over! 😉😀
mad respect for the parents! I have no idea how you put everything on the line like that! Clearly, the kids could REALLY ride at a young age!

Good lord I don’t think this comment aged well 😂
@@gooseactionsports1289 why, what happened?
Jett is such a cool kid. I love watching him in interviews
Travis had one Maine difference is that he was humble and I really respect that, a big champion with a small ego!
Maine? maybe in main lol
Jett is humble as well, he’s just outgoing and not afraid to say how he feels. It’s a difference between that and being egocentric or not humble
I find that he often talks a lot of crap in his interviews, he says a lot of stuff that goes threw his mind without really filtering it. I know he is still young and hopefully he will change that but still I don’t find him to be like Travis in that way
I wish I grew up in a family like this. Love, commitment, and dirt bikes. A perfect union.
“He’s just a shittier version of myself”💀😂
Please explain
Kid is an absolute legend I hope he stays himself forever

Aspies are the greatest.
Red Bull - perfect choice for your next series!!! These are awesome.
Most personality since Aaron Plessinger! SO refreshing to hear/see something different from the standard robotic podium questions and answers.

Making aussie riders proud the whole family are legendary

Wiser words have never been said before Travis Pastrana told Jett Lawrence to "understand what your limits are". ha
travis still has not figured that out for himself lol
