Looks to me like Mincho is playing a full D chord at the end ( 5:36 ). From what I hear I think the guitars are tuned a half step down and the E (now Eb) string is further down a step, so instead of drop D it's drop C#.
I'm almost certain that Mincho wore Miku's outfit by mistake...shirankedoh😏 Btw, Maids wore their usual outfits for their recent acoustic Okuji at Shibuya.
MISA's playing and bass tone are setting new standards... and Akane's drumming is so in-the-pocket and distinguishable... and Kanami's solo is Daydreaming masterful! The recording and mix are as enjoyable as the song. Miku and Saiki's lyrics are heartfelt. "I can't look into your eyes." Is Band-Maid a band of fashion-forward, trend-setting Besties? 💞 Thx, Mikey & Band-Maid!
With the song being entirely in English and with Mike's involvement, it definitely seems like a pitch for a bit more mainstream attention. Could the outfits also be related to that? I find when I recommend Band Maid I'm always having to initially make excuses for the costumes. The gap Miku talks about is a fun contrast, but it's also something audiences might have to get over to begin with, in these dresses that stops being an issue.

Also love the backing harmonies especially since they showed Akane and Mincho singing. As for the recent acoustic concert...they wore their normal Maid Battle Armor, but this set is the Acoustic Line Cube Shibuya stage. PO!🕊 WORLD DOMINATION!!!🤘😆🤘

I am honest: I was afraid that the new song is not as good as the old stuff from Band Maid. And yes, Bestie is a pop song, no hard rock and no typical Band Maid complexity. They do that now and then ... and I like that. Nevertheless, it needs some time to creep into my ears but now its an ear worm ;-) Same with this video: I didn't expect much, but Whow! And I am not sure if I like their dress style IMHO too old fashioned) but their hair style make them even more pretty and mature. You cannot "optimize" Miku and Misa ... but I very much like the new look of Saiki, Kanami and Akane. Please keep it that way! Love it.
