This is what you're supposed to do to a team that you know you're better than and that the team you're better than knows that they're inferior to your team.
Nice thing with Cal and his splits. 8 of his homers have been batting right-handed and 11 left-handed. 8 from the right side, and that's his weak side. He's also now homered from both sides of the plate 3 times in his career, twice so far this year alone.
Well i think its safe to say we were able to score, J! How vibes can change quickly, lets do it agian tonight and through the weekend! 🎉💪 Was kinda crazy how Rosenburg went yhe whole game after that.
I’ve been thinking about how we talk about the number of strikeouts per game, and how that’s kinda a flawed metric because it doesn’t account for the number of chances a player had to strikeout, so I’ve been calculating ’SOPA+’ (strikeouts per plate appearance, MLB average is 100) for the last couple series. against the Blue Jays the M’s were a 70 SOPA+ team, only rising to a 72 against the Padres, they’re a 79 SOPA+ team on the year… last night? 191.
Very nice game. They did exactly what they should be doing against bad teams/pitching. 4 for 9 w/RISP, 5 LOB, 15 hits, 11 runs and (the best part) only 5 k's.
They put this one away early after that error by the angels that should have been an inning ending double play by France I knew la was in for on long night this was a drubbing
I'm a huge Mariners fan However, Ron Washington and the Angels organization were just taking a look at this pitcher while he was getting in some real-time game experience. And that's all that this game was about. It was more of an exhibition game. They know that their season is over. Plus, the trade deadline is coming up. And they are evaluating their minor league talent pool. Yes, Mariners fans, a win is a win, but......don't go around thinking about winning the world series. Based on an exhibition game. We'll see where the Mariners are if they can win this series. And how well they play against Houston, in the next series.
I unsubscribed after the DFA train video followed by the arm chair GM discussion with that other guy. I'll keep watching to see how it goes but gotta support our guys until they aren't our guys. (Polanco is looking good again both sides of the ball, and that's awesome)
I'm gonna call out poor play when it happens, sorry. Up until the last few days Ty and Polanco have been horrible. Nothing would make me happier than them turning it around, but they don't get unwavering support just because they are Mariners, im not a cheerleader.
Seattle's 18-5 against the West with 29 to play in division. Seattle would need to go 9-20 the rest of the way to have a winning record in division. As things stand right now, Seattle holds the tiebreaker on nearly every team out there.
we love offense don't we folks
It's a beautiful thing!!!

Twice in 3 days!

These last couple of games have been Awesome!!! Keep up the good work J and Goooooo M's!!
Always a good time when your team dunks on the Angels
Really enjoy your podcast! I come here right after the games. 🎉 And the big dumper dumps again!

Hope they can keep it going against a higher caliber pitcher tomorrow. 🤞
Who do you think will pitch tomorrow for the Angels?
@@jamesnash6101: Tyler Anderson
Tyler Anderson..
The Mariners know Anderson. So I have a feeling we will do just fine against him.
Just a clean complete game, was hoping they score more than 11 runs, but oh well.

You should be on Intentional Talk doing analysis!
Going to the game tomorrow. Looking for the same result as tonight.
Have fun!!!!
WOOhoo, I'll show myself out.
We might be back
that was fun 👍🏻

Mariners haven’t allowed a run since Tuesday.

Good job, boys! But let's not try and act like we haven't blown a 10-game lead. We're doing better, but my faith is still lacking.
