I've known Pat though skating for years. He's impressive enough on a RUclips video, but when he does a roll in to a 12ft bowl and boardslides 10 or so tiles in front of you, with little to no warm up, looking as relaxed as he does, you realise you're around some next level shit.

I grew up with Pat and his brother Mark and we hung out and skated all the time at Marina Skatepark and befoee that we'd go to the Runway in Carson and we'd just skete around the neiguborhood, then as we got older we skated with Christian, Scott Oster, Aaron Murray, and the gang on Sunday nights at MCO parking structure in Westwood. We'd be nightclubhing four or five nights a week hitting all the underground clubs.
Pat always had and still does have the smoothest style. He's a legend among legends. My last skateboard before I broke my leg on a halfpipe in Inglewood was a Ngoho ZFlex board he gave me with rwd anodized prototype Independant trucks and Hosoi Rockets that Christian gave me. I was still skating at 25 yrs old when I broke my leg. And still skating afterwards. I used to ride that board to class when I was going to Santa Monica College and one day in the cafeteria I was stressed about a test and was time for class. I walked out the door took two steps realized I left my skate under the table, went back in walked to the table and the board was gone. Not even two minutes and some piece of crap stole my board. I asked if anyone around saw anything and no one did.
Someone got a totally rad prototype board built with gifted parts from Pat and Christ.
I remember going to the converse factory with Pat and picking out shoes when they were sponsoring him. One pair I got were black suede lowtop Chucks. They were bad ass. Everyone would ask how I kept the canvas from fading and I would show them that they were black suede so they didn't fade as quickly as canvas and they would be blown away, "those are suede? Damn, those are bad, where and how did you get those? " hahahahaha
Thanks Pat. We need to get together, bro. Its been too long.

@@nickmccack I don't think in Norway and Russia they Skateboard on street during winter and subzero Celsius temperatures. I am in the UK and I can guarantee that over here winter is a pain in the ass, and honestly I have been trying bones medium, bones hard, and Independent medium , independent soft, independent medium conical, my opinion is that bones medium as soon as they break in they turn very soft, bones hard are good for stability but not great for turnings, independent soft I don't know why I haven't found them to be any soft to be fair actually they seemed harder than Indy medium bushings, Indy conical medium have been the best so far, also because I ride Indy and I think the trucks perform better with their same factory brand bushings.
