best advise i've ever been given (by multiple male friends) is this: "If a guy/man want to see you, he will make it happen." This is absolutely true.. I'm not saying he has to chase you, but I am saying that he will make an effort to see you or talk to you if he's really interested in dating you. Ps Big fan of your channel Elliot.. keep'em coming
Generally, guys are not texter. One thing I learned about my boyfriend (regarding texting) is if he doesn't text me or forgot to reply to my texts, it doesn't mean he doesn't love me. Don't measure your man's love through the length of his messages. Guys often see that getting mad over an unreplied messages as a sign of insecurity. Just play it cool. If a guy really likes and loves you and you know it, there's nothing to worry about. Relationship is all about trust. Just saying :))

I agree. I have been on Bumble lately (came thing as tinder) and man, men suck. They dive right into love bombing, wanting to see you, mentioning sex in the first conversation. I am old school traditional, online dating is just not for me.
I completely disagree with your comment about being out at a bar or social function. All women are beautiful in their own way. Not every man out in the world is looking for the same type as the guy beside him. I don't see dating as a competition. I know who I am and I know my value. If some guy talks to me out in public that I want to talk to then great, we'll have a conversation. If not I could care less. I'm not an insecure women by any means and I really don't appreciate you acting like all women are needy!!!! I've gone out with many different types of men since my divorce and they're all so needy and insecure. Independent women are secure in who they are and men love it but they always seem to take things to far and become needy and clingy! I have actually stopped dating for a season because men are to much drama for me!!!
Dating and Relationships is too much fucking work and stress. too much to do and not do damn! do this do that! don't text! don't call! text but not too much.
+heartless bliss lol i see what you mean but from my eyes its actually really really easy. People just develop bad habits and do what they think is okay such as texting all day everyday and wonder why the guy pulls away. Dating is real simple: do you, work on you, put yourself first, and everything else will fall in place. No one ever does those things though. I can't tell you how many times I had clients tell me that they are afraid of saying XYZ or ABC because the guys going to pull the way if they do. So they're basically lowering their standards to keep a guy around which just lowers their value and everything I said above. Just work on yourself and let go of the outcome

Great video, I like the idea of you critiquing clients dating/relationship problems. It would be really cool if you elaborated more on what exactly was said within the conversation to give us a better idea/example and then critique how you would do it differently. Just my .2 cents ;) take care.
Of course! as long as the client is aware/okay with you sharing the information then I feel like it would be super beneficial to your viewers as well. Making up examples is another good idea since some of us gals might not know whats too much/too little. Examples examples examples followed by how you would do it differently :)
I have a male friend who I text almost every day, but I don't think he's interested in me anymore as much as when we first met. When we first met, he used to act more interested and say a lot. He also used to initiate the conversations sometimes. Now, he doesn't act as interested in a lot of things I say and he usually types one word replies or short replies. I usually initiate the conversations. I've told him about this and he said he will change, but he hasn't.
I don't know about these other ladies but I'm so glad that you make these videos because I can see a dude bull**** a mile aways now and thanks for that!!
I do agree with you a little about texting. A real man will pick up the phone and call. If a man asks you out via text I wouldn't respond because you want a real man. You don't want a man that can't carry on a conversation over the phone so he always texts. Have a standard and don't deviate from that standard!
just found your channel and i've been really enjoying your videos! not only do you give great advice, but you also have a nice personality which makes it pleasant to watch :) keep up the great work x
I swear these videos come out at the most convenient time. I'm kind of in a similar situation as the girl he mentioned. The problem is the guy I'm talking to/texting said he would like to "hang out sometime, just not sure when..." He's mentioned he was studying and he works during the week. He asked if I was free one day but he forgot it was a holiday (Christmas Eve lol) but then he never followed up with an actual date thereafter. I must admit that I'm not the best flirt when it comes to texting but I'm learning! haha. I know I'm probably fooling myself for waiting around for this guy but I at least want to meet him. :-/
Good Afternoon Eliott. I really enjoy your videos and you're hilarious! I just need to know what to do and how to go about a situation with a guy I'm crazy about. We've had our up and downs, but we've always been there for each other and he says that I'm his light at the end of the tunnel. I just need to know how to go about cutting out some bad habits, like over texting and such. I haven't spoken to him in going on 4 days and I'm scared to send him anything. He's in the process of moving also and I want to send him a song since we always did that with each other, but I'm scared of being pushy. November will make a year. I'm going out with other guys and living my life, but I want him in my life because I just don't feel anything for these guys, but I know to enjoy life until he puts a label on us. I just need advice on what to do without looking desperate, clingy, or needy. I want to send him the song " Wish You Were Here" because we live in different states, but once again fear takes over. I think especially if it is online dating and you want to get to know that person in real life it‘s totally fine. I‘ve heard often that a first meeting with an online person shouldn’t even be considered as a date since you don’t know yet if you actually want to date that person. It is just a real life check if the attraction is there offline, too. I think it shows off confidence when you don’t want to waist your time with texting going nowhere.
Thank you so much for your useful videos. I really enjoy them. Thank you. I would like to know what about when you start texting someone with long distance and you don't have the chance to have date for some months?
Most guys told me it is very difficult to even get a girl to answer the first text on a dating app, so maybe it is not as you say that the competitions is so big....
Have you a video on how to win a guy over through texting online and his texts show that he is very bored or is getting very bored and he no longer flirts with you....?
What if you meet on a dating app, have a few initial messages back and forth, he asks to hangout and I ask if we can speak briefly on the phone first... but he says he's not a big phone person. Really? I mean shouldn't he at least give me a quick call if that's what I asked for? Just for my comfort level?
+Elliot Scott Dating Thank you. Well actually, he said he's not looking for "serious." I don't blame him. Who would say they're looking for serious straight off the bat. At this age, I can see we were both in long term relationships before, so I said I was fine hanging out. It's the truth. All good... But I'd still like to hear his voice first just to make sure he's real, as you can tell a lot from even a quick call. Think ur right with these dating apps. "Most" are looking for hookups, and I'm not even sure what I want... But at least something more than just a hookup. Don't even want to label it. But men do have to know they need to take an extra step for the lady in "some" way. Trying to be open minded and just have fun with it, but I think you do have to have "some" standards.
How about a long distant one (I mean really long like 2 different countries) and the first date is a month ahead??? 😂😂 I’ve never watched any videos about this kinda situation cause everyone always assumes 2 people live in the same city and can meet up whenever
You’re videos are pretty informative regarding relationships and I appreciate them greatly however, this video took 12 minutes to basically say, keep it short sweet and set up a date, don’t text for too long… I was waiting for more lol
How do you apply this to someone you met online that lives in a different country? He wants to fly out, but we've been texting for 6 weeks to get to know each other....is this also bad???
does this apply to when you pretty much already have the guy? meaning if its been a few months and you two have already been through the flirting, dates etc lol? when I ask him how he feels about texting everyday, he says he doesn't mind he likes it. we've discussed our goals/intentions with each other, met his parents etc.
The problem with texting my crush is he's not always on his phone and I don't want to text something he doesn't see lol. He does respond and apologize for getting back late (it's usually something like my text got lost or he was going through crazy shit throughout the week), but we mostly talk in person. Honestly, it's easier talking face to face with him. Not just because he can't ignore me (not that he's ignoring my texts lol. I know he genuinely doesn't get them because one time I texted him that I got this email and the next day, he asked if I got it lol), but it's just easier, I don't know what it is. Either he's a chill guy or I'm less shy as I grow older, but with past crushes, I would act like they didn't exist. With him, I felt more awkward of I DIDN'T say anything.
I remember he said you can reach out again after 3 ,4 days when he started not replying . And also you can just make a date like : say let's meet in what day you want . K ? So if he wanted or interested to meet , he will say okay . Or he will reply you a day he is available . If still no reply . You could wait another three days . If he never then reply back . Probably not the right guy :p he has lots information in book and other videos .
if he's texting you thats a good thing. Talk to him a bit then say you gotta go but you're looking forward to seeing him. I am just speaking if you're the only one reaching out.
Guy started off with normal conversation and then moved it to sexual more flirty text. Now he's only sexting. Says he still wants to meet me but hasn't bothered to set a date. Texts to hang out last minute late at night 🙄 or says "we'll figure it out"
So question. I asked s guy to coffee yesterday, and he and I had a great time. He took me home, and texted me when he got home safely. After he did, I messaged him back, thanking him for the great afternoon we had, and for taking me home. He did not respond....should I be worried? what should I do?
what if you went out on a date... texted last that we both had a good time.. (he was last to text) but he hasn't texted again to follow up or suggest the next date..
Also, how do I know if I want to date the person? Usually I tend to just first get to know people on a platonic level. We talk about interests, hobbies, lifestyles and just "hang out" via texts. I need time to build trust in someone (and potentially thinking of dating a person) so all my new contacts are only meant for seeing if we are compatible on a casual level. I actually knew someone and it took me 6 years to actually get butterflies in my stomach but they faded away after we realized that dating wasn't meant for us. So some women (like me) are pretty slow on a dating game 😂
im kinda screwed, im literally on the other side of the world and i reallyliked this guy i met online, we talk from time to time but theres no way i can see him personally... Unless i move to London which is impossible right now.. :(
I've been talking to this guy for about a month now and I see him during the week because we go to the gym at similar times. During the weekends we'll text here n there but he never asks me out yet he's interested in going overseas with me next summer, I'm very confused in what way he likes me.
Hey! I have a question and would really appreciate your help: So I met this guy at work recently and we got along pretty good. I don't see him on a daily basis, though, it's more like twice a week for a project. We actually sat down together afterwards and ended up having a pretty deep conversation and he told me how much fun it was to talk about it with me. But now I'm on holiday for 4 weeks so we can't see each other. We started texting, he initiated the conversation. Now we've been texting back and forth for a week and it has been a lot. We found a lot of common interests. There have been messages that might have stopped the conversation but we (equally) still kept it going with new topics or random things like what he just made for dinner. He seems to enjoy texting and told me how amazing it is to have somebody who cares about all the things in his head. So my question is whether I should really stop it. Thanks man, you're doing a great work :D
hi Elliot, can you make a video on the difference between a man being frugal vs cheap with a woman. How can women tell difference between financially responsible and not wanting to invest much? Thank you
Hi Eliot I just have one Q if you can answer what's the possible reason and why. just met a guy through online and we dated three months.now.he text me only everymorning just say hi and hello hows doing bla bla..thats all for the day..he does not initiate to have long conversations. is it strong signs that he is not into me.Might be he talking someone else too??? pls.looking forward to your Answer thnk u marie
Marie Galang sounds like he likes you (he's texting every morning right?)....maybe your 're a good option ( and his other energy his going else where) so he's using the minimal possible investment tactic to kinda keep you kinda strung. He pops up via text to make sure you're still there. You'll learn more about his true intentions if you STOP replying or slow down replying vs. continuing to answer. Ghost on his ass...avoid being in a "waiting trance" and see if he will chase. If not, straighten your tiara princess and move the fuck on eventually more communication is necesarry if he wants to move forward in any kinda way.
what do you do if you accidently reject him via text? I told him we were coming home early from vaca. and he made a joke about me wanting him so bad...yadayada...and my response was just kinda oops on autopilot saying "u wish!" lmao I didnt mean it that way but Im sure it hurt his feelings a little... he hasnt texted since. :(
Elio thank you for your videos and advices I have to mention it does not feel good when you say it is about the guy or because if you go to a place where there is beautiful women blablablahh here is the point every woman is beautiful in her own uniqueness For example I don't care when I step into a room what is outside of me I am unique beautiful inside out I am not perfect but nothing or anything will bring me down or feel less that who I am I say and believe who I say I am and every women on this planet must embrace the Goddess in them and trust with all her strength that competition and putting yourself in a market as and odject it is just ridiculous. Thank you again

How about a long distant one (I mean really long like 2 different countries) and the first date is a month ahead??? 😂😂 I’ve never watched any videos about this kinda situation cause everyone always assumes 2 people live in the same city and can meet up whenever
I totally f*t up!. This is all right...My vacation and new career got in the way and I had no choice to delay the date.🤢
Yes it does.
This makes total sence and are easy steps to follow
So if you only text to greet, flirt or confirm. What do u do ignore him and wait for him to be a man or can you call him and say lets meet
U are awesome and clever! Keep it up!
Did it work out?
Very helpful thankyou.brilliant.
Thank you, love the info...
I hate texting!!!!
U give really good advice
what if you went out on a date... texted last that we both had a good time.. (he was last to text) but he hasn't texted again to follow up or suggest the next date..
How long should you wait for a man after talking online?to meet in person💥
We you know get right
Also, how do I know if I want to date the person?
Usually I tend to just first get to know people on a platonic level. We talk about interests, hobbies, lifestyles and just "hang out" via texts. I need time to build trust in someone (and potentially thinking of dating a person) so all my new contacts are only meant for seeing if we are compatible on a casual level. I actually knew someone and it took me 6 years to actually get butterflies in my stomach but they faded away after we realized that dating wasn't meant for us. So some women (like me) are pretty slow on a dating game 😂
I feel the same way Elliot too many people to choose from
i will pay you to critique my texts too lol
U are pretty good..makes sense mister.
who sets the date?
Well, if a woman (Not a girl) doesn't understand this stuff at the first place she is very very naive person...
I would never meet people if it wasn't for online websites...i work....
im kinda screwed, im literally on the other side of the world and i reallyliked this guy i met online, we talk from time to time but theres no way i can see him personally... Unless i move to London which is impossible right now.. :(
eartheinjel Same exactly lol! Even same location
What's the suggestion for this pandemic situation where it may not be safe to meet in public? Maybe a phone call/video call?
"I've seen stranger things happen..."
ELLIOT is my dream Guy.
Elliot scott time
Elliot, can you share some strategies specifically to reattract a exboyfriend? Especially, when I feel it's worth another shot?
I'm not Elliot, but from what I learnt from him it's better to go on a date instead of continuing the convo by phone.
hi Elliot, can you make a video on the difference between a man being frugal vs cheap with a woman. How can women tell difference between financially responsible and not wanting to invest much? Thank you
Leyla Ali *fantastic subject to explore*
@@nofybn7794 some are generous and if they are too generous they might be trying to control you.
How else can you communicate nowadays? No one wants to talk on the phone or meet.
It looks like my major in English will pay off....lol
please dont mess with my heart, im probs your number one option. x
Hi Eliot
I just have one Q if you can answer what's the possible reason and why.
just met a guy through online and we dated three months.now.he text me only everymorning just say hi and hello hows doing bla bla..thats all for the day..he does not initiate to have long conversations. is it strong signs that he is not into me.Might be he talking someone else too???
pls.looking forward to your Answer thnk u
marie
Awesome 👍😊
That's my problem I love texting I'm a social bird
That's okay, just be social with ur girls(it's what we have them for anyway!) and leave a mystery for all the boys.
Trust me, it gets boring for women too
what do you do if you accidently reject him via text? I told him we were coming home early from vaca. and he made a joke about me wanting him so bad...yadayada...and my response was just kinda oops on autopilot saying "u wish!" lmao I didnt mean it that way but Im sure it hurt his feelings a little... he hasnt texted since. :(
Elot why don't u ever wear pink shirt?
If you don't like dating apps, tell us where to find men! Not the bar obviously!
You are great
What if the guy youre dating has a dating profile, but you met somewhere else? Would he be a low ego sorta guy?
yes but it is better you still met somewhere else so you dont fit the stigma of dating online or at a bar.
Thanks Elliot! :P
+Elliot Scott Dating wait a second..isnt low ego a good thing?
Low ego/low self confidence is much different than being egotistical
I never agree with this guy but I never had a boyfriend and I’m 22 sooo 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃 that explains it
Elio thank you for your videos and advices
I have to mention it does not feel good when you say it is about the guy or because if you go to a place where there is beautiful women blablablahh
here is the point every woman is beautiful in her own uniqueness
For example I don't care when I step into a room what is outside of me
I am unique beautiful inside out I am not perfect but nothing or anything will bring me down or feel less that who I am I say and believe who I say I am and every women on this planet must embrace the Goddess in them and trust with all her strength that competition and putting yourself in a market as and odject it is just ridiculous. Thank you again
Im looking for this because i met him online he is overseas:( need text advice,!!!!
Where’s your book?
You look like a beautiful weird elf 🙂 Great channel
Lol

No he needs to groom his beard.

I have my male friend that is friends with me ; for 10 years. I've kept his cell phone number is it possible that I'm being to forward, clingy & needy. even I'd asked if whose cell phone number I have.
