- An exciting maiden voyage for me aboard the Reaper for the New Jersey offshore season. A fun, quick day featuring a couple hundred pounds of tuna and tilefish in the canyon. Thanks to Captain Chris for a great trip!

So cool how you recorded the captains meeting by the fridge before we shoved off. It was bigeye or bust this trip!!
Guys....Dillon is the best youtuber in the Northeast by far.....and a damn fine fisherman.
The passion, the drive, the hard work. I can't even remotely keep up or compare.
Gonna miss ya brother. You're going places dude!! Keep up the hard work. Remember us little guys in a few years when you hit it big, cuz I know you will!!!
I hope I can grow up to be half the fisherman you are Chris! Honored to fish the deep with ya!
Reaper rules! Your a lucky dude to fish with him!👍
Love this content, you should do a video on fishing lobster pots and any floating structures for mahi that would be sick
So nice! Love the fight!! GREAT JOB!
Dillion I love your vids you should go black drum fishing in the Delaware bay trust me it’s worth it
great video man as usual! you really do have a passion for this stuff, keep it going, we will miss the northeast vids but I'm ok with whatever you post!
sweet video dude !!
Chris and Dillon, you guys are the best! And I agree, Dillon is the best local RUclipsr. At least I find his videos the ones I look forward to the most in this area (and regionally because of his passion, unique approach, persistence and relatability). Chris, I don’t know you but you’re a good mentor to Dillon as are the rest of your crew. He’s going to be successful because of his passion, connections and tenacity. Dillon, I’ll miss you in the northeast when you head south but my guess is your videos will translate to any location. Hoping to run into you at some point in the future. Wish I would have been in your position at your age. I’m 58, married with preteen kids, just got addicted to saltwater fishing 3 years ago and living in West Chester, PA (2hr from the Jersey shore). Doesn’t stop me though…just snuck down to NJ at 4am this morning. Lugging the equipment to the Delaware Bay and nearby beaches only to catch one small fluke. Came back to spend the day wrestling with kids in our local pool…exhausted and the family thinks I’m crazy…wife thinks I’m sneaking off with another woman…they just don’t get it. If I buy a kayak, I don’t think I’ll see my family ever again…LOL. Great video and keep up the great work !!
Got to love the grind Mike! Thanks for your kind words!!! Always appreciate your comments.
Dude!!!you guys rock!! Can't beat a trip like that man. This day will stay with you guys forever! Nice work and thanks again for another great video
Great video! Nice to see you fishing with the Reaper crew, you guys always have so much fun. Tight Lines!
Thanks for taking us along stud!
Thanks for watching!
Man watching your videos and being for dirty jersey makes me wanna give salt water a try alway thought there was nothing food here but blues
What a great video Dillon , all the way through you captured the excitement and looks like another great day on The Reaper :)
How have never heard of this boat?? Awesome trip 👍
Love your videos Dillon!
Thanks Bob!
Another great video. I need to get on the tuna this year!
Get out there!
1 or would you go for 2
I'm betting this guy is ditching any Tuna and heading straight to the closest Mc Donald's drive thru.
love the videos
You’re getting good at editing , nice video, Chris is a beast
I try. Appreciate it!
I love up near the barnegat inlet and have recently taken up offshore jetski fishing. Farthest out I have gone is around 5 miles so far.
Would be awesome to link up and do a jetski fishing run!
Come down Absecon. I run a 16ft boat sometimes 60 miles offshore.
Forgot to mention. 80 wide standup on a bigeye. That's no joke!!
After leg day was the cherry on top!
When you going to get Chris to do some inshore stuff. Ive been bit through by 2 wahoos this year. One in July that was around 40lbs and one about 2 weeks ago that was close to 100lbs. It's becoming a consistent fishery on the midshore lumps east of the 28 mile wreck. I got the fight off the big one on video on my channel. I cried 😂. I had it. Had the bar and took a wrap. Needless to say I'm running all wire now on my bally rigs. Hopefully tomorrow night into Wed i get revenge 😂
Wow, that’s a dream for me. Tight lines!
@@dillonfishing if you ever want to get extreme just lmk. Most people are terrified to come out with me as I'm only in a 17ft boat 😂. I've gotten 8 miles short of the Spencer this year. If my vhf didn't eat shit I would've made it. I mostly am usually between the lobster hole cigar and Lemkes. Im loving the Roffs charts currently. There is some stellar water that pushed indoor finally
Capt Chris hugging that big tuna LMFAO love it !
🔥
Another fantastic video! What is the size for recreational tuna?
Ya Gleesh
Hope all is good bro. Miss the content
Working on it! Just moved into school here at UA!
Great trip. Was the candy apple shutes rigged with bait or plain?
Rigged with select ballyhoo
@@dillonfishing thank you
Where can i buy the bait fish you used? Thanks
Most tackle shops near the coast should have Bally’s just call ahead of time.
@@dillonfishing sounds good thank you
You should start doing striper fishing again🤙
Price of tuna right now means they actually paid for the gas to go out there. That fish was worth maybe $3000 ?
You catch the limit dude that's a good chunk of change 😊
Say if the limit as just an example 3 or 4 that's $9,000 up to $12,000 dollars 😊😮
How much they charge for 4 people
Why would you Quit fishing for a Tuna ? Is 2 the limit ? Or are you grifting with the Charter guy . Or Captain which makes me cringe here with the guy here
wow very nice❤🩹❤🩹❤🩹
