I get the fangirling of Andy Gibb. I was fortunate to see Andy in 1978 as a twelve year old at the Illinois State Fair. Great song here by Gino. I haven't heard this song in decades. My 70s childhood had the best soundtrack, and it continued in the 80s.
Please take a moment and enjoy the song "Brother to Brother". Fantastic song, exceptional instruments and Gino's brother plays the organ. Just great song all around.
They are going to love that one. Very rhythmic and jazzy, well composed. Good message too. I think they would also like ''You Gotta Move'' & ''Wheels of Life'' for the 70s Gino.
I have been doing a deep revisiting of 70’s music trying to find a specific song and wow, I knew it was great, I lived it, after all, graduated HS in 1976, but wow. Hearing one banger after another in pop, rock, soul, alternative, you name it, it’s really mind boggling how good these groups were, no two alike. I always thought I couldn’t choose which decade was better - 60’s, 70’s or 80’s, but now I think that the 70’s tops them all. That leaves out my favorite group ever, that influenced all the 70’s, The Beatles, but luckily I can still listen to them and say the 70’s had the most creative, diverse and amazing songs ever.

My favorite Gino Vannelli album is "Powerful People" which was released 50 years ago next month. My favorites on that album are the title track, "People Gotta Move" and "Poor Happy Jimmy," a tribute to Jim Croce who died the year before.
In the early eighties I was working at a restaurant in Tucson Arizona. This song was on the in-house music rotation, and I heard it every day. Great song.

What a blessing it was to be 9 years old when this was playing on the radio and have this be the type of songs that inspire you about love and relationships
I love watching your reaction to this song! "I just wanna STOP..." I remember when it first came out but watching your video was like hearing it again for the first time! Yeah, those background singers are amazing, too! So glad you chose this one!
Your right the 70s had some of the best music ever made.
Amazing! Mr Vannelli is fantastic... bravo 👏
One of the best drummer to grace this album, “Brother to Brother” Mark Craney
RIP Mark. One of the best drummers from that era. His work with Jean-Luc Ponty is superb. His one headed Toms sound like cannons
@@alexdrummer2175I need to RUclips some Ponty stuff then 💯 but yea those toms with the short resonance,,,maaan! 🥁🔥
Gino Vannelli - " One Night With You " (One Dream Come True) 70s/80s blend of ( Yacht Rock/Prog Rock/Jazz/Soul. NEXT LEVEL Musicianship The Bass Intro is Incredible and Amazing Vocals and Backup Singers are Phenomenal. More Up Tempo Groove Equally as Awsome. Youguys are gonna Love this one Too 🎤Drums are Twice as Amazing
Amber would like Michael Johnson's Bluer Than Blue from the 70s.
Or "This Night Won't Last Forever".
@@richardkint6531omg I haven’t heard that song since probably the 80s. I used to have the 45 single and played it all the time!
He is and still is incredible. Sometime you need to listen to I feel like flying, Brother to brother, Appaloosa, The wheel of life....the list goes on!
So glad you got to this one. I would also suggest "Valleys of Valhalla", "Black Cars", and "Living inside myself" if you haven't already done that one.
Listen to more Gino's songs. Brother to Brother, Storm at Sunup, Father and Son...could go on and on...
Boy does that bring back memories!! Her name was Kelly❤
No her name was Lisa❤...lol
Much radio play in Detroit. One Canadian artist that was able to bridge the river. Tons never could. Music businesses is wacked.
My favorite Gino Vannelli album is "Powerful People" which was released 50 years ago next month.
My favorites on that album are the title track, "People Gotta Move" and "Poor Happy Jimmy," a tribute to Jim Croce who died the year before.
He’s got that voice smooth this is one of those songs that you have to cuddle up with your girl and dance to ❤
Immense Vannelli! His first 5 albums are true MASTERPIECES!
I see you swooning Amber!🤣
I have always loved this song!!! What a handsome man too! So glad you reacted to this one! Dreamy!!
Bobby Caldwell and Gino were well embraced by the Soul / R&B / Black music community because of their soulful voices 🔥
That Blue-Eyed Soul!❤🎤
@@eugenedunnii3565 add Bobby Caldwell and Michael McDonald to that list 💯
In the early eighties I was working at a restaurant in Tucson Arizona. This song was on the in-house music rotation, and I heard it every day. Great song.
Wait a minute.
Are you seriously listening to Gino Vanelli sing this song, after I've nagged about it for years? 😮 😁 👍🏽
My mom loved this song, she passed away 21 years ago this March, and her birthday was on July 21st. It's like a belated birthday greeting for her. ❤
More by Gino....
"People Gotta Move"
"Brother to Brother"
"Give Me Back My Life"
"The River Must Flow"
Amber, I agree about Andy Gibb! Ooh, my goodness! 😄
When I hear his song "Shadow Dancing", he's singing to me while we dance together. 😄
Gino has been one of my favorites for decades. It's an absolute shame he wasn't more popular. Give a listen to Brother to Brother, Nightwalker, or Appaloosa from his Live in LA concert.
