Well, I may replace mine after this year, as it’s getting very frayed. If I do it I’ll for sure make a video. Not sure what it entails honestly, wish I could help ya Will. Thanks for watching man!
Thank you for the great video! I have a 2016 Summit and every so often it will drip chaincase fluid. Can the driveshaft seal be changed without removing the driveshaft? Thank you.
Another way that you can get heat on that bolt is to use a sautering iron with a small tip and hold it on the bolt. That will get it nice and hot and you may be able to pull it out. It's nice using the sautering iron in places where you don't want flame. Just a thought
Excellent thought brother. The reason I did heat the aluminum and not the bolt, was I was attempting to expand the aluminum swingarm, and keep the bolt cooler to then back it out. Kinda opposite of what may have happened by heating the bolt. Little did I know, the heat transfer is much more significant than my human senses can comprehend and I failed regardless lol 😂 we live and learn though, everyday. Thanks for watching and please share more tips, I love it!!!
I would replace it ASAP, it’s used to make sure the air fuel is correct and the machine is running correctly. And yes, I’m going to say it should throw a light.
Power blaster on frozen plugs for a few days and some taps with a small hammer. When using heat you want to heat the material around the plug or bolt so it expands. The method you tried was sure to fail.
On a steel plug that small in an aluminum case, no method was gonna break that loose other than drilling and extracting. I ended up getting it out on another oil change, and guess what, threads galled. Steel introduced to aluminum creates galvanic corrosion, and it basically cold seized the two together. It don’t always work they way we think. Failure? No.
Tack!
Can tou do a video about the replacement of your hand pull starter part, I cant figure out how to do it, thanks buddy

If my ski doo summit 600 etech exhaust temp sensor is inoperable will that cause an engine light to come on?
