I like how the suit changes to a far less camouflaging colour scheme when it would be better for stealth to just keep it the way it is. I also like how kitai attacks a massive ass baboon which is probably three times his weight and monkeys are by far one of the most powerful, vicious, and dangerous pack animals out there, esspecially in that environment.

I hate plot holes and inconsistency so much. Some of this stuff should be basic knowledge before you go anyone off world.
@@mustangcody It’s called being 13 years old and being stuck on literally a different world then what you grew up on. No amount of training can prepare a 13 year old for this environment and it’s entirely why he was rejected by the Rangers. Kitai not being ready and needing his father “ The actual Ranger” is what the entire film centers around. You can look this up but the Suit Kitai wears changes pigment not just to match his surroundings but to also reflect the status of the wearer. White simply means he needs medical attention.

I know it's supposed to showcase his inexperience and the power of an adrenaline rush but you'd think for a kid who grew up in a military household he'd be able to follow orders much easier, hell before it even turned up he was given a bearing on it's heading and proceeded to start spinning instead of watching it's entry. It works but still irks me for some reason, but the plot must go on!

Casting aside, seeing the son directly in the line of danger while the father could only watch would be agonizing for any father. Especially when the son cried for help.

the movie was trash, the trailers for the movie essentially lied to get people to watch it and then it had TONS of plot holes with bad writing, bad acting from Will's son Jaiden and it was truthfully just boring as all hell

Just about everything in this movie doesn’t make sense to me. Like, if by putting some one in an air tight chamber could prevent them from being detected by those monsters (how Jaden survived), then you would think that interstellar travel capable human would decide to fight with an AR15 and a space suit, instead of only using a sword…

This is not A Quiet Place where monster are super accurate and sensitive about sound. Plus, if a particular meat target could be killed by a kid with a sword, I bet you that a 50 Cal. and a Humvee is gonna do way better. If you don’t want them to hear you, just put a stereo speaker somewhere else and play AC/DC loudly while you go tatatstatatatatatatatatatat! They would be killed so fast, they won’t even be able to get close. Plus plus, I just don’t understand, they already knew what chemicals are drawing the monster, why don’t they just synthesis some of it and put it in a kill box and blow them all up.
Plus eventually you would run out of ammo versus the sword, it would be SMART to have a rifle melee weapon combo

I find that a very interesting plot twist.
Also, escaping large apes through water was a smart detail. Although, the "large ape" refers to the morphology. Baboons are tailed apes- I don't think the water weakness applies to tailed apes. Fun fact: Large apes are notoriously bad swimmers (oraguntans, chimps, gorillas and homo sapiens drown with ease)
We homo sapiens overcome through extensive training(swimming lessons) but generally not knowing how to swim is a very "human" weakness. One shouldn't feel bad if they aren't swimmers.
I personally love this film. Cool to me. Watch it anytime.

Most unrealistic part of this scene, a venom that affects the nervous system, paralyzing your muscles, but conveniently leaves the ones that help you breath intact.
