    That Chevelle is coming along great. Those 'booger welds' all over it when it first rolled in were scary, reminds me of my car my brother & I rebuilt during the Covid lock-down; it is a 1971 Ford Maverick, we started with one 'good' one & 2 parts cars. The one we did had crappy looking welds all over it, looked like Frankenstine's monster. Now it's a dark metallic blue show car!

    Did you ever complete this one?

  • @jasondelo4354
    @jasondelo4354 10 месяцев назад +2

    Again I’m confused as to why they just didn’t go with a complete shell from dyancorn. That car is worse than mine and I’m thinking to go that route. There nothing original left of that car anyways lol

    • @minni1094
      @minni1094 4 месяца назад

      Would a Dynacorn shell been a better option?

    • @jasondelo4354
      @jasondelo4354 4 месяца назад +1

      @@minni1094 well if you think about the material, labor and the time it sits at the body shop then I would say ya. If your car is that bad and only the inner structure is good, then you are replacing all the original metal anyways. And even the inner structure has rust on it. Idk I have thought about it. You buy the shitbox for the vin and then buy the dynacorn body. I doubt anyone would know the difference it you took your car with all the metal and have it sit at the body shop for months or bought a complete body and maybe have to do minor adjustments. Idk. They been in business for a couple decades and if those bodies where such crap they would be out of business. Only thing that sucks is you have to pay cash for them I believe. You would have to find a really good body guy to do that kind of work and they are hard to come by. Which means thousands of dollars depending on where you live in the country. If your not building a show car, I’d say buy the complete shell.
