Rome, the QB situation in Steel Town is ALL Tomlin's doing. He misread Mason Rudolph and skewed 2 drafts, 2 camps and 31 games before putting Rudolph in 3 "Win or Die' games. Rudolph produced and the locker room wants him.

Where is the Steeler ownership in all this? Is Rooney even still alive?? Steeler fans just have to hope Tomlin decides to step down one of these days, I've never seen anything like it, even Belichick was essentially pushed out and that man owns Tomlin and has 6 SB's!! Chuck Noll won 4 SB's for the Steelers, his last SB win was 12 years before he finally was pushed out in Pittsburgh, meanwhile it's been 16 years since Tomlin won a SB, just ONE, and the man is treated like he essentially owns the franchise, I really don't get it.

To say Tomlin has no say in drafting of players and bringing in free agents or assembling a coaching staff is absolutely ridiculous. He has tremendous say on WHO he coaches and how the roster is formed.

No other people count! It's all about greed for power. These people think that things would not go on without them. They are glued to their chairs and have lost their sense of reality! Tomlin, go! Tomlin, think of Pittsburgh, think of the Steelers. Your time is over and you should accept that, but you can't. Since when do employees decide whether they keep their job or not? If he loses another playoff game where HIS team shows up flat footed, im going to turn into one of these FIRE TOMLIN fans. I love Tomlin, but teams dont look scared thats why they come out putting up huge leads. Im a little superstitious so if it keeps going like this, i still love the guy, but this pattern must stop. If your team aint ready for these games, then the team is not that good. I do believe Tomlin is getting these guys to play better than most coaches. Tomlin will get a playoff win soon because the fans will not accept losing playoff games like that repeatedly in Pittsburgh. It's like they are telling us, here this is the best we can do unfortunately because we do not fire coaches. While i appreciate the Steelers organiyfor holding onto traditional values, caring for their people and being loyal is one of their greatest values. However, we need to get this monkey off our backs and go out and win a playoff game next season. Win one and get going in the right direction again. Id love to see Steelers win another SB but, even a few playoff wins, in the next few years with Tomlin while TJ and Cam still playing.

me being a life long Steeler fan ur praise of Tomlin isn’t well founded. I’m tired of ppl putting him on a pedestal and backing it up w BS oh he’s never had a losing season! 1. He has a losing playoff record always loses the trap games and the big games. Let’s not forget him intentionally trying to trip the Ravens player! He’s a disgrace! Cowher was the better coach hands down. Tomlin only SB he won was w Cowhers team and coaches. Big Ben was molded by Arians (Cowher hired coach and dick LeBeau def also Cowher coach) he lost his 2nd SB in 2011 to Packers and has done nothing since. Over both 15yrs of Cowher and Tomlin Cowher has more wins less losses has a winning playoff record and more Division titles than Tomlin. Standard is Cowher not Tomlin. Tomlins inability to hire good coaches and unable to develope QBs is a HUGE problem. He is the CO of the team it’s his responsibility and he fails yr after yr after yr. Everybody needs to take off their coke bottle blinder Tomlin glasses he’s mediocre at best even on a different team. He suppose to b def specialist yet last 5 playoffs the opponent has scored 144 points on his def. As long as we have Tomlin it’s going to b one regurgitated disappointing season every yr!!!!🤮🤮🤮

Even Rome is a Tomlin apologist. Prime Ben and an elite offense for years and still lost to Bortles. Defense, his supposed specialty, gets torched by a 144 point margin in playoff games. Lose trap games to bad teams every year. And yes, he does have say in draft picks and signings. Tomlin’s ceiling is long past. This team will be just over .500 and crushed if they make the playoffs as long as he’s there.

First of all I like Tomlin. But dude you have no idea what you’re talking about if you think Tomlin has nothing to do with the personnel. You need to look into how they run things there. Regarding Mason, HE IS why they went 10-7. If he had been inserted sooner they wouldn’t have been playing that game in Buffalo. And they DID NOT lose because of his play. Any other QB in the league who was down 21-0 on the road in Buffalo would have lost 48-10. With 10 minutes left it was 24-17 thanks to Mason and if not for dumb ass refs and the shoddy defense, they may have been able to come all the way back. I’m tired of people now using Mason as the reason Tomlin has sucked lately.Mason saved their season and saved Tomlin this year if you’re being honest, which of course you and all the stupid media will never be.

The truly great coaches don't need elite quarterback play. Don Shula got to a Super Bowl once with the qb platoon of Don Strock and David Woodley. Chuck Noll made the playoffs several times in the '80s with QB's I can't remember (including sneaking into the AFC Championship game in 1984). Bud Grant kept the Vikings competitive after Tark left. The only present coach that has indisputably proven he can win with or without elite qb play is John Harbaugh.

LOL! Pretty low standards. I grew up around a bunch of tough-minded Pittsburgh fans who watched a real team play in the 70s and they didn't accept simply "winning seasons" after that. Sure, they gave Chuck Noll some space because of what he accomplished. But after him being there 15-20 years, people questioned how much longer he should stay. Bill Cowher faced a ton of criticism for not winning a Super Bowl, and he reached something like four or five AFC championships with very average QBs in the 1990s. But now, it's "Oh, we are so lucky to have Tomlin because he has all these winning regular season records" from the majority of fans. Tomlin has it EASY in Pittsburgh in comparison the the older Steelers fans and many other markets like Philly and NY, who'd be raking him over the coals 24/7 like they do every other coach.

Real Steeler's fans love this guy, love the Rooney's and always will love the Black and Gold. We are the measuring stick for sports organizations. Period.

When Steelers went to the Supes for the 2nd time under Tomlin against the Packers he was doing interviews acting like they already won the game.
That's a fact. Tomlin even looked sauced during one news conference a day or so before the game.
That kind of stuff dooms you.
Tomlin didn't lose the game but every win he's tallied since he came on board should be cut in half after Hines, Bus, Ben, Troy, Clark , Deebo, Taylor, etc that squad.
That team won all those games.
After that we got guys like Mike Mitchell who played the game and acted exactly like Tomlin coaches.
Steelers fans don't need that stuff

Not a coach? How does a cheerleader drag Mitch Trubisky or Kenny Pickett to .500+ seasons? Your take his so hilariously bad it's laughable

Jim, we don’t want to hear about it anymore.
    Tomlin is GARBAGE ‼️
The Steelers will never make the Super Bowl again with Mike Tomlin.
As a diehard Steelers fan, I have lost all faith in Mike Tomlin. He is not a winning Super Bowl coach.

Mike Tomlin is the most mediocre coach in NFL history, he might want to win but he does not have the ability to do it, he gets out coached in the playoffs by better coaches who hire better assistants routinely, this is a fact

Ohhhh nooooo stuck with one of the greatest coaches of all time who manages to get wins out of shitty offensive rosters. Oh no the horror! Fuck off Steeler fans, dude is a literal wizard magic-ing up wins out of his ass for 17 straight years. Get him some ACTUAL Offensive talent and you might win for a change

Tomlin is still a part of the problem. Don’t act as if Tomlin isn’t the problem. This man is a cheerleader not a coach. Been mediocre under Tomlin ever since 2011. Bradshaw was right. Winning seasons but no playoff wins.
