Tomlin has done nothing in the league since Cower's roster thinned out on him. The Steelers could have had 3 Super Bowls with Rothlisberger, Bell, and Brown if anyone other than Tomlin was the coach.. the fact that he botched winning with those guys is insanity.

I used to be an ardent Tomlin supporter. But that Cleveland playoff game broke me. I finally began to see all the criticisms of him were true. Under achieving during the regular season (except for 2020), and not being prepared come playoff time. It happens every year and all he has to offer is empty platitudes and rhetoric, which the media loves. He once said, “I have the best job in sports.” Well of course he does. Imagine having a job with zero accountability, and a host of media willing to defend you when you fail. I’d call that a dream job too. You said it best, he loses when it matters most and never gets called out for it. Just compare him to Mike McCartthy a guy who’s guided his team to three straight 12-5 seasons and lost in the first round of playoffs every year. He’s on the hot seat, at least according to the media. Why is he treated differently? Is the never losing season thing? Because they both won a Super Bowl.

Tomlin walked into a Superbowl roster, built by Cowher. He had LeBeau running the defense, so what did he actually have to do? He's won nothing since all of Cowher's players have gone. His defense has given up 230 points in the last 6 playoff games. Since Ben retired, Tomlin has shown he knows absolutely nothing about the offense. He's butchered the qb situation. Hired horrible OC's. Yes, he's a fraud. Playoff wins in only 4 of his 18 seasons.

Tomlin has got to go. Are they going to create a new category for a "great coach" in the NFL. The most winning seasons. Well ain't that a hoot. Remember tomlinites, this season started with Mikey T getting out coached at home by a good team, and ended with this team getting out coached by a good team. Everyone in the AFC North has won a playoff game since the Steelers did it last. If this guy sticks around,it will be a lot more of the same. Sick.

Hit the nail on the head. I constantly hear “He’s a SB winning coach!” He legitimately stepped into the best position any head coach has in NFL history. He inherited a team that won a Super Bowl 2 years prior, with a future HOF QB not even in his prime yet, and the #1 Defense in the league. He won a SB with a team that he did not build or mold. It was a team that already had veterans who had what it took to win the big game.
Then you constantly hear “Never had a losing season!” No, just a whole lot of underperforming/mediocre ones, and only won 3 play off games in 13 years.. with one of them being a game where Cinci snatched defeat from the jaws of victory and outright handed Pittsburgh the W.
Not saying he’s a “bad” NFL coach but he is EXTREMELY overrated

Rooney needs to sell his team to someone who cares about the fans and has the kahoonas to fire the fraud head coach and his entire coaching staff, and hire the right people to bring the franchise back to glory.

Mike Tomlin is a bad coach plain and simple. He is arrogant and will NEVER admit when he is wrong. That was proven by the Matt Canada disaster in which Tomlin refused to fire him. His coordinators are weak, and he will not hold them accountable. The team this year quit on him as he has lost the locker room. The only, and I mean the only, dude in the organization that supports Tomlin is Rooney. Thay my friends is all it takes to allow Tomlin to finish destroying the Steelers Franchise.

I've been a Steeler fan since before their dynasty, a long time, I remember the Stewart and Malone years and it was pretty bad. But I've never seen the team in this bad of shape. Yeah, coming off a 'winning' season, going to the playoffs(again), sounds crazy, but I believe this team is about to blow up. Lets take a look at it. The qb prob has been a pain in the arse. Why Ben Roethlisberger was forced out is beyond me, he never had a bad season, his stats were fine. He was forced out, and I don't know why. Absolutely no preparation were made to replace him. The fiasco with Trubisky and Pickett was a joke and so was this season. I don't blame Russ, and I don't call for his ouster, he can not help it if he has no team around him. The reason I like Wilson is simple, he has that deep rainbow pass, he's the only Steeler qb with a legit deep threat arm in a while. There are few Steeler fans out there that aren't disgusted with not being able to put 20 points on the board season after season. Wilson is not the future, he takes too long to make the read and with this porous O line, he's getting hammered, but he's what they got. Which leads me to another gripe. Why hasn't the loss of Villanueva, DeCastro and Pouncey been addressed? The O line has been in shreds every since and this happened 3 or 4 years ago. Fields may be the furfure, if he can learn to throw the damn thing down the field. We're not even going to talk about what happened with the D for the last 5 games. It really doesn't matter, in fact, none of the above stuff makes a whiff of difference in curing this teams problems.
Steeler nation has had it and they are calling for Tomlins dismissal, and I agree. Dan Patrick said a mouthful when he said that someone(the Rooneys) needs to ask Mike if he still has the team? He said people were afraid to criticize Tomlin. And he hit it on the head. Tomlin had lost this team, they have lost faith and are quitting on him. No team falls this flat on their face without a reason. I bet that locker room stinks. What Pickens said, that the receiving core was growing but there is no sign of optimism is shocking. Tomlin gotta go, they need to snag McCarthy

I've been a Steelers fan since 06. I'm going to say what most won't. He should have been fired after losing to Tim Tebow in the playoffs. The only reason he got those 2 SB appearances(1 SB win) is cause he was left with Bill Cowher team(coaches and players). Once everyone left or got old, we haven't done anything meaningful since. We lost are Steel Curtain mindset and honestly I can't even watch a full game. Hopefully Russell Wilson redeems himself. Best thing MT did was get Minkah Fitz and bring in Flores.

He proves that on a weekly basis. Lose to teams bellow you. Get blown out by the actual good teams. As long as his ego stays this team will never see postseason success. Ain't gonna happen. Steelers will het blown out this year and maybe ppl will start to look at the numbers and realize just how bad of a coach he actually is. Again not to say he isn't a good man.
