  • What do you look for when you arrive at a surf spot you've never been before. Andrea Moller explains her approach to analyzing danger in new surfspots.
    Andrea is a widely respected big wave surfer, full-time 911 paramedic on Maui where she lives with her daughter.
    Andrea Moller is recognized to be the first woman to paddle into the monster waves at the world-famous big wave spot Pe'ahi, aka "Jaws".
    Andrea teaches first aid with the Big Wave Risk Assessment Group to teach other surfers ocean safety.
    She also organizes an annual event on Maui for special needs kids.
    This video was recorded during the B.R.A.G. training in Half Moon Bay, California in October 2019.
