  • What is it like for a woman to paddle out in a big wave line-up and how does she build respect?
Who better to ask than Andrea Moller? She is widely recognized as the first female surfer to paddle surf the giant waves at Pe'ahi aka Jaws in Maui, Hawaii.
Andrea is a widely respected big wave surfer, full-time 911 paramedic on Maui where she lives with her daughter.
Andrea teaches first aid with the Big Wave Risk Assessment Group to teach other surfers ocean safety.
She also organizes an annual event on Maui for special needs kids.
This video was recorded during the B.R.A.G. training in Half Moon Bay, California in October 2019.
