I was at Ho'okipa in head high perfect waves, kicked out to paddle back out and was looking at the first set of 20' - 25'. 4 massive hold downs, each time had to climb the leash after the wave passed. Glad the leash didn't break.

Classic product unboxing, I use the 10ft Ocean and earth big wave leash. Never heard of the 15ft until now !

So is this for paddling and towing?

Thank you Mr. Clark for the gymnastics analogy, as that sport can be quite dangerous at the elite level and you have to be incredibly strong. Never surfed (afraid of rocks) but my brother did.

Also replace your leashes regularly. After a few years or less, depending on the frequency you surf. Rust and corrosion develops in the leash materials and and gradually weakens them. I learned the hard way at ocean beach and had a long swim in

Dear Jeff please consider what I wrote before. This guy seems to be able to make these cartridges refillable with the spare air hand pump. To be able to use this straw to actually grab some breathable air while you're stuck underneath to me seems very valuable

I'm trying to get a message to Jeff. On RUclips there's a video called working 007 mini scuba tank... In the video the fellow changes a mini CO2 cartridge into an oxygen filled high pressure tank.?? I was thinking that would be very beneficial because if you were gasping for your last breath of air before you die. You would be able to suck the air out of your own vest. What do you real life heroes think of that?? I'm just a speculator spectator. 8 ft and under kind of guy.

What I found really interesting is what he wasn’t saying - don’t be a naive idiot. Stay away from Mavericks & every big wave spot until you FIRST put in the years & years of practice & work. I watch some of these idiots out looking for their 15 minutes of fame on social media & cringe. It’s truly life & death.

Frosty freeze , I just came up with a design that a titanium cable runs inside the board as if it was a truss rod but cable so when the board ever breaks in pieces it stays together for full floatation to pull up , and a more shock absorbing ankle cuff for the big wipe outs , plus the cable keeps the board aligned when doing repairs after the shark attacks , I drew up a illustration but can't get it on here for some reason , you seen any boards with a full tang cable running through them ? Hope to see ya' soon ......lump
