Order Food Thai Style' 🍝 Street Food in Petchabun & Tips on Ordering Food in Thailand

- Building up a real hunger for street food this morning, my good friend Peam and I visit a favorite restaurant from back in his school days. Aside from his 2 'must-order' items, we sample many other tasty-looking foods from their menu, and I try to give just a few tips on how to order food while thinking more like a Thai person would, when thinking about ordering restaurant food.
**This video was shot directly after our visit to Piccolo Coffee, where we had a SUPER cool Live stream, possibly the best one yet!, and I included a bit of extra material at the end of this video (amazing HAND-powered espresso tool!) as well as just some beautiful ways in which you affected ME with your energy, and honestly just awesome generosity and kindness as well!

@@JoelsTastyRide To me, the most amazing thing is how much my own Thai wife LOVES your videos. In my video, you can see how quickly she recognizes this restaurant from your video. Then, I edited it out, but it almost sounded like she yelled into the restaurant "Did Joel come here?". They looked at each other shocked and then were like. oh yes yes. He has come here several times. Was so funny and cool. Truth be told, we were going to go to McDonalds before this happened. So happy we didn't, this was way better. Thanks for all the good you do!

And you can tell, she has a good sense for where to find good food!! Oh man. McDonalds has its place, for sure, but Im so happy that you chose KK's best street food instead ( i really choose this restaurant as a "Top 10" place in all of Esaan, in all 11 years Ive been here in Thailand... Maybe Ive eaten there 20 times in the past 2 years? His Pla-Raa is on another level...)

Thanks again my dear friend for another great video filled with mouth watering dishes 🤤🤤 the drink you had was like hibiscus flower tea sooo yummy and super healthy as well, awesome diuretic. I’ve used the steeped flowers as a meat replacement 😊 Mmm coffee I have been on a Proffee kick which is espresso or coffee (cold) mixed with protein powder or a protein drink. Great way to get my coffee fix along with my protein.... thanks for sharing your time with your friend have a blessed day
Oh my! What a recommendation, protein coffee!! Jennifer thats awesome, ok Ill have to find protein powder first but... I did actually try several times the bulletproof coffee (having it with butter, then instead with coconut oil... now Im just back to plain coffee)... ok, I guess theres a new idea to try now! And yeah, cold seems to be the way with that.

Chainz!! Happy to have you here today! Honestly, it took about 4 months of studying, sitting on the floor with some books I bought from 7-11. Thai is not too difficult for the writing actually, the rules are very straightforward, and I like how tricky it is to physically write all the letters (there are over 70 characters you need to learn... but yes, the rules of pronunciation are usually very straightforward!)

The food looks very homely and delicious. You are correct about Thai food being nice to be shared on a table. My family always enjoyed our Thai holidays and eating is such a bliss as the variety of food spoilt us for choice. More importantly is food brings the family together on the same table.
