The Borderless House, designed for an elderly couple, integrates traditional Chinese garden principles and the architectural elements of the Barcelona Pavilion to create a connected, park-like home. Featuring sixty fragmented concrete walls, the design seamlessly merges indoor and outdoor spaces with glass partitions and a continuous ceiling. The house, situated on 19,050 sqft of land with 77% dedicated to lush outdoor spaces, is built to suit the tropical climate with natural cross ventilation and strategic shading. The dynamic design includes deep overhangs and multiple framed views, creating a serene atmosphere. The house emphasizes nature and family connection while challenging conventional building typologies by blurring boundaries and fostering a sense of unity with the urban landscape.
