As someone who’s having their colon removed in a few weeks (ulcerative colitis), I just want to let you know that your videos have been a great resource for what I can expect with my stoma, as well as calming much of the anxiety around it. Keep doing what you do, no doubt your videos are helping many more people than just me!

Hey hun & Zack don’t know which way he spells his name? But I also got a box of the Esteem 1pc bags, after you talked about them🤭😉❣️ and funny thing we have had the exact same issues with every bag system….. now I’m still a newbie, almost 2yrs & still terrified to change my bag…. But I’ve tried them all but these. The same exact problems, i mean exact!!!! So I haven’t tried these yet & I think your next video should be a bag change with these bags, completely different with it being 1) New & 2) a one piece system, so now I know I want a “new bag, new system” Bag Change VIDEO❣️❣️❣️Please❓❓❓ As always sending love to you, your guy & all the doggies ❤️❤️❤️❣️

I’m a minor and I have to say you make me so much more comfortable in my body because of comfortable you are in your I used to hate my bag but now I I’m so thankful for it. Thank you for all you do❤️❤️
I got my Ileostomy placed in February and I got back from a vacation I had in July, and I went swimming with it for extended periods of time, and I even jumped from 8 meter into the water, no issues 😅 I was worried most about intimacy, but that was allright too. Bottom line is that you can still live a good life with a stoma. 🎉🎉
I live close to Cape May and work there giving tours. Plenty of bathrooms around. Before my ostomy i visited those bathrooms quite frequently! Taco Caballito has great mexican food and it's got ocean views. Hope you enjoyed my favorite town!

I like a 2 piece system but I think I will try this product as I miss swimming also these would be good for the shower as well. Thank You for your videos they have helped in my personal journey living with a ostemy

Cape May is beautiful. I was also a Jersey girl, but my beach was Atlantic City. After college I moved to Phila, and wound up in NYC when I got married.

I don't ever wear anything open backed but I've NEVER been told scars burn easier than typical skin! You'd think someone would know to tell me that at some point in the last 30 years since back surgery 😆

I have been using this exact pouch for a couple months now. I like the deeper convexity, as it works well with shape of my stoma. The flat style and shallower pouches caused leaks. But the deeper one is perfect! Thanks for featuring it Maggie. You look so pretty in your two piece swimsuit. Love your channel Maggie and thanks for taking us along on this beach outing. You are so encouraging and helpful! ❤

I switched to esteem as well and love it! No more leaks. I don’t even mind that it’s a one piece. Works great!
Such a great video! I’ve been using Coloplast Sensura Mio light convex and love it, but I’m definitely going to try this new bag. When mine gets even partially full, the bag pulls down and sometimes rubs against the top of my stoma and causes irritation. Thanks for showing this new bag! Also, I always enjoy your videos with you and Zak together! ❤
I work at a national wildlife refuge and they are for animals as opposed to national parks. So typically (not all) no fishing, swimming, biking on the trails and drones.

I have the system and we went on vacation to Florida. It was very hot and I was in the water all the time and it was amazing❤
I take non flushable wipes and use lubricating deodorant so things usually slide out and then the bottom is pretty clean so I use a wipe and it is ready to close. I love lighthouses. I live in Oregon and we have at least 10 along the coast some have hosts that give you a short history of them. Fun and informational :)

I just got to try the Esteem bags, and am trying to switch from Hollister. One thing I love about them is that the outlet folds completely under the fabric rather than hanging down like Hollister....which causes me chaffing

Glad you two had a lot of fun despite the sand flies and finding a restaurant! Seeing as you said this was in June, I'm curious if you've used these bags more often? I tried getting a sample a couple months ago when they first came out and they did not have this one available so they gave me the see through bag. Unfortunately that one's drain area did not tuck up into itself so I didn't care for the design. And my skin under the flange was irritated. That made me sad because I was hoping to switch to this bag. The one I tried was very comfortable and I like the convexity. When I called back to get a sample of the correct product (the one you're showing) they said they were out of samples but I could just order a whole box through my supplier. I still might just to try it again and see if I get a skin reaction. I've had the same bags since I got my ileostomy (it was converted to a colostomy this past Dec) in Feb. of '23. I'm finally ready to try a new bag. ☺
Someone I follow bought an eFoil recently. She makes it look easy and I think I'd like one if I lived near a sparsely populated beach with biting flies.

Oct 15 I'm having a proctocolectomy due to colon cancer, plus I have primary peritoneal cancer. Your videos have been so helpful. South Central Pa girl, here. My surgery will be at Hershey medical center.

I tried the Esteem sample bag one piece. Took 2 to 3 weeks just to get the samples, I did like it & decided to order it. Was shocked to find out that one box was $200,00. I have to pay for my bags myself. That was just the bags, nothing else. Went back to the cheapest supplies I could find. Buyer beware.
When I had to get a colostomy bag 10yrs after my injury left me paralyzed. I have never left it stop me from doing anything

my problem isnt the bag but the bandage!!! it comes off at the slightest ounce of wetness detected. The humidity is doing me in BAD!!! Any tips would be great!!! THANK YOU!

PLEASE FOR MAGGIE, DO NOT ENTER THE SEA, THE OSTOMY CAUSES A LOT OF SEA BACTERIALS, TAKE GREAT CARE OF THE OSTOMY, DISPLACEMENT BY OSTOMY GLUE, CAUSES A COLOSTOMY WITH, RISK OF DISEASE FOR SEA BACTERIALS AND EXAMPLE MANY DAYS IN THE HOSPITAL, SO SORRY FOR MAGGIE FOR DETACHMENT AND PATIENCE
I'm probably safer with my ostomy and plastic bag over it than people with their bottoms intact.
