This one sounds great as I would expect from LL. Michael is brilliant and so generous with information. Can you imagine shadowing him for a week? Thanks for the review, Vin.
Sounds like a great version of LL Vin, almost alchemy like stuff with all that cask mix, really great stuff from Michael Henry and co, really love the amount of detail on the cask/spirit makeup that's been given out too.
Great review, as always! With that complicated distillation and cask recipe/process, this sounds a bit like LL's version of 'Victoriana' - makes some sense given the shared ownership between LL and Glen Scotia. Cheers!
Glad to hear you liked this one Vin. TBH I am not surprised that anything Michael Henry touched wasn't great stuff. I admit to not being able to appreciate some of the LL releases but figure that was just my palate, and not what they were putting out. I have absolutely loved a couple (Roy's release being one ❤) and was relieved I finally "got" what everyone was loving about them. It looked like a great night all the way around for you at the tasting! Cheers!
My bottle says ncf, and on the box: nfc and natural colour. I believe nfc and natural colour is the future for Loch Lomond’s going forward(certainly hope so). At least the 46% and up bottles.
Hey Vin, my favorite is the Inchmoan 12 and the classic LL 12 - this one is definitely an integrity bottling - the box says not chill filtered and natural color! Wanna see this for their other products too 🙄
Hey Vin, thanks for this video! I really like LL - the 12 yr old has a lot of character and funk. I also will try this one - the only thing I can´t understand that they are coloring - here in Germany and Austria you have to declare and all of the stuff is definitly colored and that is a pitty!!
I'm well up for trying anything Loch Lomond. Anything I've tried so far gets a thumbs up from me. Cheers Vin.
Cheers Al, it's well worth trying

Oh man, the things you could learn! And from all those fascinating still options too!
Sounds fantastic mate. I have enjoyed whatever I have tried from Loch Lomond so far
I can't think of a 'bad' LL at all!

Glad you like it Vin, I was curious about this. I do love the Loch Lomond house style so this sounds right up my alley. Cheers!
Good walk through of how distillate is selected! Also, sounded like a good whisky. Thanks for sharing, cheers!

Interesting process to make it. Haven't had any loch Lomond yet.
Love a little dabble for extra depth. Great review Vin, been curious on this one since I first saw it appear on socials. Cheers to the next one!
It's all about the dabble!
Great and informative review as usual, Vin.
Thanks for sharing.

Cheers Frank! Always a pleasure to actually get this sort of info

Man, I've been there so many times. When everyone is raving about a dram and I'm just here thinking it's ok. But then something aligns and you get it

Great review thanks Vin, impressive amount of information and added it to my list 👍
Kudos to LL for being so transparent, it's not often we can get that level of info out of a producer
Definitely, it's a shame more don't do it, it really adds to the interest and appeal I think

As soon as I started recording the video, I lamented having thrown that carton away 😂
@@NoNonsenseWhisky I tried yesterday the LL18, the LL12 and the Steam&Fire - but to be honest, for me the LL12 has the most typical character & funk!

That is a shame. I wish we had that same rule here so it took the guess work out of it
