- Here is a install and review of Talon Grips on my M&P Shield 9mm. Purchased from amazon (link down below). This is a must have product! Instant difference and it allows you to grip the handle much better with very little slippage. There are 2 different types, a sand paper like grip and rubber (what I have). For $20 it is a very good investment!

Nice video, very helpful. One thing, it's not a clip... it's a magazine.
Thanks nice Video
I clean my guns with moonshine 😊
I like the Hogue JR grip.
Nice! Can’t wait to add this to my MP40 shield.
It’s easier to apply if you heat it up with a hairdryer or something
The Talon Pro grips is the way to go. I just put them on yesterday. Also adding Magguts to my Magazines.
Thanks for the vid. Off topic but what sights do you have?
I bought the gun just like that, it’s with Hi-Viz sights. I’m sure you can buy it after market and install real quick. This video here was the original gun when I bought it years ago. ruclips.net/video/w6Er9_iMqRk/видео.html
put one on my px4 storm, worth every penny. would have put one one my sheild but i got the 2.0 and that stipple job is priceless. Mine was crooked in a couple places but i left it until i got out my blow dryer to heat it up and set the adhesive. when its warm you can scoot it around quite a bit.
Great review and how to
Great video. Have any of you tried the Talons and the Hogue handball to compare? I have the 9 and 40 and I’m considering just trying both myself. Would like to add a bit more girth to handle.
Nope haven’t tried it. Overall this grip tape is better than not having it that’s forsure
A year late , so don't know if this will help you . But I personally have the hogue grip on my shield . I love it , but it's a lot worse to put it on haha . 10000 times worse , because its a perfect fit . But once you battle with it , and finally win the war . It's well worth it . Adds good amounts of girth , in case you have bigger size hands , I don't but I still love the way it feels , and it also has tons of grip .
I have Talon grip tape on my Shield 1.0 and, for those who may be wondering, the grip surface of the new Shield Plus is *much* better - amazingly so - without being *too* aggressive, as the larger M&P 2.0s may be.
For every day carry ? Which talon grip did you get ?
You should consider getting rid of that ridiculous loaded chamber indicator on the slide
If he happens to be unfortunate enough to live in California the indicators are required by law. S&W has to ship a different gun to California than the rest of the country. If you live in a free state like me, congrats.

Well that's up to the individual. You could legally remove it and throw it away if you wanted, they just need to have it installed when they sell it to you. Pistol needs to have it for roster reasons but once you own it you can replace it.
Apex makes an all black, low profile loaded chamber indicator with no writing or engraving, and they also have one that doesn't pop up at all. Both $20. I like the low profile all black one so that's what I got. Very similar to the one on my SD9.
@@thomassullivan1207 ya I know. I have them on all of my Shields. I like the no profile.
@@methodical_66 i dnt even mind it. Never gets in the way. When shooting i dnt even know its there.
You have a rusty slide?
Jesus, you said "clip" 4 times within like 10 seconds. Drives me nuts when people call a magazine a clip.
😂 its ok 👍 he's learning and just got excited 😊
IT IS A MAGAZINE NOT A CLIP!!!
Decent video. I liked actually seeing the installation it really helps out but dude CALM THE FUCK DOWN! You talking and moving like you have ADHD and anxiety. I'm sorry but I had to turn the volume down and watch the video with no sound. I felt like this whole demonstration was in fast forward.
And another thing it's a magazine not a clip. Clips are an entirely different thing.
