    After banging on the wheels with the sledge, bent rims will now be an issue! Wire brush the axle ends and the center holes of the wheels to keep from rusting on. Lastly, save yourself a ton of time and work by leaving the emergency brake lever on the cable and just detach the shoe from the lever while in place, no need to fight with the e-brake cable end....leave it attached!

      Or to this yahoo, why would you use a socket with channel locks? Why would you allow brake fluid or whatever to contact the new brake shoes? Why wouldn't you clean all that rust build-up from the hub and wheel before reinstalling the drum (scotch pad or wire brush) , light coat with anti seize. He must not care about his lungs either using compressed air blowing brake dust with compressed air (that's why they make brake cleaner)...breathe deep, At least he used jack stands 👍
