You can only turn once (unless you play the Tight Turn Card).
So it's turn at the end of moving up to 45 degrees OR burn advantage to turn up to 180 degrees at any point, NOT both.
Also your aircraft that started the game in the cloud can't be Advantaged (or Disadvantaged) so should have started the game at Neutral.
And the Trait Cards (Tight Turn, Robust, etc) can be used once per TURN, NOT per GAME. So you can play it every turn with all your aircraft.
To tail an enemy aircraft your front arrow must line up exactly on the peg of the enemy aircraft.

Black Powder is a lot of fun, and very easy to learn. My FLGS is pretty heavily into it

Yay Blood red skies! Bat reps of the game are hard to find on youtube hope you'll continue making them as I learned alot and looks so smooth to play! Also flying nose to nose is risky but it looked like it paid off!
If you use Maneuver as your Pilot Action, you don't get the 45-degree turn at the end of your movement. Believe it's clarified in the FAQ.
That looked a lot more interesting than I thought it would be. Really wasn’t expecting as much tactical depth, either. Definitely need to look into this further. Thanks!

I only just started watching this but if this game is based off of historical fact, that Zero is probably going to win unless that Wildcat gets a lucky early shot in or it’s already undergone the engine upgrade and is really a Hellcat.
Or using the Thach Weave before the Japanese figured out a counter. Or running the Zeroes out of ammo.
Yeah, the Wildcats were tanky but definitely wouldn't be winning a turning fight with a zero. the smartest thing for the American planes at the beginning here (irl) would have been to dive for the water and gun it to out run the Zeroes, break contact and escape. (I guess unless the Wildcats started out a good bit above the Zeroes, in which case instead of running right away they could have a chance to dive on them and try and catch them before they could react - and if its no good you just keep diving and then run.) But none of that would make a particularly fun battle report. hehe ;-)

Don't make me tempted to by a squadron of Hurricanes
I played my first game of this of this at HMGS Hurricon 2 weeks ago. Not a huge fan compared to other, more detailed systems like Check Your 6! or Hunters in the Sky. I'd put this on par with Wings of Glory.
It is a fun game and I had my issues with it at first but the more I played the more it was fun to get into
I could do large squadron battles quickly and easily and gets similar historical outcomes
My main game of course is a 1/72 scale game called Mustangs & Messershmitts very intricate very detailed very aviation centric

Its not a bad game but they shot themselves in the foot at the start by selling boxes of 6 planes rather than say 3, its not a cheap game either

being historical you can always find third party to that scale to use as well. maybe save a fair bit, since no one can own a WW2 IP.
Even with the conversion mine weren’t that much maybe my store had a discount on them I’ve been doing a lot of printing off free STL files too

You got 6 planes for 24 euro and you really do not need many models. So I cannot follow your logic.
Not gonna lie. This game is kinda boring.
Missle Threat is more interesting. It deals with land, se and air in a modern setting.
