The guy was in pain. He was detoxing, where in all this plane trip was he physically abusing his wife? If she's saying because she had to go thru the detox with him, it's abuse??? Why is she taping this??? There's something wrong with this, very wrong

They’re taking bits outa diff diff audio w no dates?

Given his childhood, it's a miracle he survived... not only the childhood itself, but the coping mechanisms he used to go forward. Having had a violent, abusive, frightening mother, I can attest to the fact that it scars you for life. Those early years are when you develop a sense of yourself, a belief in yourself, and understanding who you are through the lens of your parents' regard for you. I didn't have a child until I was 40, so scared I would somehow turn into her. Mr. Depp is a wounded soul. I am so sad for him, yet glad he's standing up and speaking his truth.

If anyone has ever been in an abusive relationship they would understand why Jonny self medicated. Sometimes it's the only way to survive the abuse. He has never denied his use of drugs or alcohol before. He has also never been accused of hitting a woman before. I hate Amber Heard and her team.

He got into drugs again when he met Amber, to self soothe, and I can understand why. For Heaven’s sake, he even quit alcohol and detoxed from a doctor prescribed opiate pain reliever during his time with Amber. He testified that he asked Amber to join him on his “sobriety journey”, but she refused and kept using alcohol and drugs around him. What kind of a wife is that? I still do not understand why anyone is trying to make this about any substance abuse. Substance abuse DOES NOT equate to DV. If you cannot research ALL of the facts regarding the events in his life for yourself, I am surely not going to do it for you.

Much is confusing. And the way that the lawyer keeps trying to twist things it gets more confusing. It's very slight things that may be off. And a lot of times Johnny says I do believe, to the best of my recollection. Possibly and so on memories of a deposition 4 years prior of memories about 4 years prior are sure to various especially when the amount of details that have been piled on all over the whole entire case. I guarantee you would not be able to keep every single little detail and memory 100% accurate. And this is all just to draw attention away from the main facts.
I think she was planning something like this from the beginning. Complaining about his drinking but yet bringing him a glass of wine everyday after work. Getting upset about losing little bits of control and constantly trying to take over even medicating him during his detox. So many little facts that she is a conniving controlling narcissist.

No human who has a single ounce of love, respect, or compassion for their husband/wife would do something like this. I cannot imagine recording someone in a very dark and vulnerable time. In 2016, my husband and I decided to get a divorce. Last year (Aug - Sep 2022), my ex had developed a pretty severe addiction to fentanyl. I tried my best to help him through it so for about a month I had him stay at my house (in a completely friendly manner) to try & help him detox and get clean. When he was in withdrawal, recording him never crossed my mind. I just did what I could to help him. Watching someone go through that is heartbreaking. Thankfully he agreed to go to rehab and I drove him the 4 hours to take him to the rehab facility and he is now clean. Amber never genuinely cared about or loved Johnny if she was able to record him going through intense withdrawal. She is a monster.

So far there is 0 evidence being presented that Johnny "abused" Amber. @@MyWadester I've known a lot of people in my lifetime that have been survivors of DV and trust me, there is no woman going to sneak around making recordings and yell from across the room that someone should stop hitting her when no one is there without deliberately trying to scorch somebody. She was married to him for barely a year and she wanted $50,000 a month, three of his penthouses, his range Rover and a few more things in order not to bad mouth him. Johnny refused the blackmail attempt and she went on a mission to literally ruin him because she could not get what she wanted.
Kevin Costner threw her out of his trailer after she showed up naked after breaking up with Johnny for a couple of days and she had Elon musk coming in and out in less than a month after getting married and even gave him a key, she is a gold digger and no matter how this court case ends up, hopefully she loses everything that she tried to take from him.

I’m confused why people are just now paying attention. A lot of this was presented before and I couldn’t believe they fell in favor of AH. I’m just glad he’s getting his day in court and isn’t just gonna take those lies from her.

The audio, as JD was TRYING to state, was not taken on the plane. Amber audiotaped him while he was going through a detox, from a doctor prescribed opiate for an injury he had sustained on POTC. He detoxed on his private island in the Bahamas. In any case, why would ANYONE record their spouse at the lowest point in his life?

I think most people who have followed Johnny know he consumes alcohol and medications. That is not an indicater of itself to domestic violence. Often it is an indication of someone who is struggling with extreme stress and anxiety.
