The Wayward Children series is definitely dark, there is a couple of books that are more whimsical. It's a series I really enjoy, hope you like the rest of them. Loved the little montage, A Natural History of Fairies is stunning 😍
got this notification & was going to save it to my watch later by instinct, but then i'm like "nope, today sucks, i need this NOW." hehe so thank you for making my day better
oh my goodness The Secret Garden... I cannot believe it - I recently found a Barnes & Noble hardcover edition in pristine condition in a Little Free Library!! ❤
ahh i'm so glad you're reading the wayward children series! keep in mind that each book has a different protagonist but i still think that you will absolutely love the rest!
I've been subscribed to you for a couple years now and first came across your channel in 2020 when I was wanting to get back into reading. Your channel is always nice to relax to and I love the vlogging videos that you upload. Your content is just so pleasing to watch especially the many aesthetics that you have all year round that gets reflected in decorations or books that you recommend. I've had countless fiber art craft projects that I've completed watching your videos and it always puts a smile on my face thinking about those memories.😄 You work so hard on your channel, webshop, and all the content that you put out so I just wanted to say thank you for having this channel up!!🦋 I hope that all is going well and I can't wait to get some of your items that are on your official website (congrats🎉)!
@Leora Aileen ☺️ I have so many more fiber art craft projects planned for the rest of the year, and I can't wait to finish my summer jobs so I can purchase from your webshop.
This was such a lovely and cosy vlog! The little snippets from your days and the music choices in this one just made it feel like a warm, comforting hug. I've been sick and stuck in bed these past few days, but this really gave me a serotonin boost. Thanks for this, and belated happy birthday!
Im screaming, I keep secretly hoping my booktubers get into manga too so I can have all the content as a book and manga fiend if you need recs, I have some that might interest you based off of what I know about your reading interests from watching you videos: 1. Snow White with the Red Hair - a fantasy romance that is genuinely very cute and wholesome with the right mix of drama. the anime is awesome as well. it's about a girl who is wanted for her red hair by the gross prince of her region, but she feels and ends up meeting a handsome prince in another kingdom - their story blossoms from there. 2. Fruits Basket - one of my top 5 person favorite anime, I haven't read the manga but they are printed in these gorgeous special editions and the story is awesome. it's about a high school girl who has been through much turmoil in her own life and she meets this interesting family who will turn into an animal of the zodiac when touched by the opposite sex. it touches on various types of friendship and love and found family and the family is intense and dramatic and it's just an amazing story. 3. The Witch and the Beast - this is a more dark fantasy story about this pair that are looking to hunt a witch that cursed one of them, and it features a whole bunch of magic and spookiness and the art is amazing. I haven't read it in awhile/I haven't finished it but the vibes are on point 4. A Sign of Affection - college student love story between a deaf woman and a guy who loves to travel. this is legit my all time favorite romance manga, it is done so well and teaches you about Japanese sign language and the barriers the two overcome as their relationship blossoms
Hi Leora, I loved The Secret Garden when I was younger. I read a few books in the Every Heart a Doorway series. Good concept but overall to dark for me. Happy belated birthday.
When it comes to Little Witch Academia I recommend watching the anime series first. The manga is more of an extension of the anime and was released after the anime. Some of the chapters are retellings of the episodes but some are new episodes of the characters. You will not get the complete story if you read the manga first. So yes that is my recommendation. I hope that what I am saying makes sense.
@@leoraaileen oh good! Yeah if you watched the anime series then it will make sense 😀 I definitely think it is a manga for people who have seen the anime and not really a good introduction for newcomers.
Hi! You might have mentioned this somewhere else, but what kind of a coffee machine do you have? It is exactly what I have been looking for and it looks so cute 😍
