I have similar feelings towards YA books now as well. Oftentimes they are just so dramatic and everyone has these BIG FEELINGS that they just have to let out. Sometimes it can be a bit much, but they can also be just a fun read. I really enjoy the vlogs, btw. They're so cozy - like warm hugs.
18:16 yes exactly! I was actually so mad when I picked up the second Illuminae Files book and it was about different characters because I was so attached so Kady and Ezra already 😭
The luminaries looks interesting and this version is stunning! Thks for your advices!! I love the vibes in your video, so relaxing! You want me to go in Holland for bookshopping 🙂❤️
📚 I’m currently reading A Winter’s Promise by Christelle Dabos, so far I’m liking it. My tbr for January is full of very large books that I probably will have to extend into February lol. I love your vlogs so much, I feel like I’m hanging out with a friend.
📚📚 i definitely feel the same about young adult now that I’m getting older. Like im still intrigued by a lot of young adult books but then I read the synopsis and it same something cringy like “bad boy” 🤢
I also feel like YA can be a bit Much, especially with romantic storylines being SO prevalent, I just want something fantastical! That thigh muscles imitation took me out 😂
I wanna say that I will never ever not read ya, but I just know there's gonna come a time when they are just not good anymore. For now tho, I enjoy that they are a lighthearted break from the adult fantasy or adult contemporary I read. But the whole ya genre seems to be going down a bit. You know that's the case when middle grade becomes more well done. And it's clear that they've just been pushing out those ya books. Sad reality.
I reallyyyy get where you're coming from, but whenever I have thoughts like this I keep wondering whether i'm not just growing out of it a bit, or maybe i'm just tired of reading the same things? I don't feel like the whole genre is collapsing though.
@@leoraaileen you’re not wrong. I feel like the whole ya genre is like the easy route and where they can mass produce garbage really. They do middle grade which is a lot better than ya. And that really makes you wonder.
i had to rewind to the ⭐tHiGh MuScLeS⭐ part three times because it just made me scream with laughter, especially with the editing you've done 😂 also, i had the same frustrating experience with dear dolly, it's only available in hardcover so far and it's more expensive as well, but i don't want to wait until june to get it in paperback 🥲
I love these chill videos where it feels like I'm hanging out with a friend while we both do our own things?? It feels nice 📚☕🕯️
I wish your vlogs were one hour long... Always so cozy and aesthetically pleasing!! 💚
ahhh thank you!
📚🍄 can’t wait for the new items in your shop! I hope there’s a bookmark with mushrooms and maybe frogs and fairies would be cute 😊
both of those are coming your way with the new collection!!
@@leoraaileen yay!!💕

exactly!! and you're just sat there like ... I can't do this anymore
Lmao THIGH MUSCLES ugh when authors fixate on one thing for the whole book like the dude's blue eyes in Spanish Love Deception. We get it!!

I guess his day of the week was leg day…
