Hi everyone! You might have noticed there have been less uploads. This is because I’m taking it a bit slower for my mental health, being less pushy towards myself and having healthier work/life balance. I am also taking more time to make videos instead of trying to make as many as possible, which I’m really enjoying! 🕯️✨ Thank you so much for watching and being here. I have so many fun autumnal videos planned and do hope you stick around. Much love, Leo 🍂🗝️☕️
You definitely nailed the Studio Ghibli vibes - thanks for putting so much work into this video; I really enjoyed watching this! I have read "The Girl Who Drank The Moon" and I had the same feelings as you - the first half was wonderful, and then it became confusing and not as interesting. I want to read a "A Fragile Enchantment" at some point this year. Oh, and I just read "The Full Moon Coffee Shop" and I think you would love it - it is very Ghibli with talking cats, a mysterious cafe, and the focus on astrology for each of the characters portrayed.
The video was beautiful! You can see that you have put a lot of effort in it and the Gibli vibe is definitely there! I am from Milan and I grew up on Lake Como as a child, you brought be back there! Thanks and looking forward to see more of your videos! X
Have you read The Spell Shop? I think it would be perfect for your next Ghibli related video. It has Kiki's Delivery service vibes, Legends & Lattes vibes and romance (though it's not a romantady per se). I think you might like it. The protagonist is a former librarian that rescues some spell books from the library she works at before the revolution breaks out in the area and she goes back to the village where she was born which is very very far away from said area. There she opens a jam/marmalade shop that only sells raspberry jam (it's funny, but it makes sense) but she secretly sells spells from the books to help her neighbours flourish. And there's a sentient plant companion too!
omg Leora this video is gorgeous✨ you captured the ghibli vibes so well 🌿 loved watching this! I’m halfway through the girl who drank the moon and so far really enjoying it. Such a sweet and emotional story🌙
Hi! Just wanted to recommend a book that is set in Lake Como! It's a novel "Lake Como" by Srđan Valjarević. He is Serbian writer, and the book is full of nature description. I remember i really liked it.
I've been struggling with finishing a fragile enchantment, I liked it at first too but then my reading slowed down so much and now I find it hard to pick it up It's not the cheating that gets me, although the way it was just brushed off kind of bother me but the way it was almost instant love, if it wasn't for the plot because I'm curious of how it'll get resolved I would dnf it. Anws this was such a beautiful vlog, thanks for updating 💕💕
Beautiful clips of your trip to Italy! So magical and I adore the Ghibli vibes. Also yes, you used Petulant well. Kit was absolutely a petulant little as* and I 100% agree on your review of A Fragile Enchantment, it was cheating glossed over by politics but it game me a yucky feeling reading it even knowing the background. Looking forward to each of your videos! Sending ❤
The video is great, and I'm happy you're taking steps for your own mental health! I didn't enjoy "A Fragile Enchantment" as much as it went on either, but for me it was because it felt VERY insta-love and like the plot had way too much going on. I like her book "A Far Wilder Magic" better.
@@leoraaileen Understandable! But that one is definitely better; it's not trying to fit a million tropes into one story. The only issue I really have with AFWM is that it very obviously was once Fullmetal Alchemist fanfiction.
Felt the same when reading “A fragile enchantment”. I did get the paralell with English royalty from pretty early on, especially because the whole political situation reminded me of Ireland during the potato famine 😅
Hey Leora , really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you with more Quality Editing in your videos and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail and also help you with the overall youtube strategy and growth ! Pls let me know what do you think ?

I absolutely ADORED "The Girl Who Drank the Moon"!! So cute and cozy! You might also like "The Ogress and the Orphans" by the same author. 💛

happy to know I was not alone hahahaha. I still own a far wilder magic but am now more hesitant to pick it up

This is amazing. It has been a dream to go to Italy, but sadly it can only be a dream.

thank you for inspiring me to romanticize my life more
ofc hehe
10:27 that cloud at the right side looks like a cat's snout to me
I need to know where your shirt at the end of the video is from.
🖤💚
Have you ever thought of making a jigsaw puzzle out of your illustrations?
omg I have!! I would love to
🥰💐

... Why are your vlogs starting to look like that 2022 Danish psychological horror film "Speak No Evil"?
