Actually he wasn't , at all wild!! MIT, He was a genius not only musically but comedic as well! One time while he was playing in Tucson (Yes, I was there!) Mr. Clean his bodyguard came up to Frank whispered , ( allegedly) and Frank threw his guitar on the stage and ran off! It was hilarious claiming to be a death threat, Than a few signs went up saying, Frank The Prank! I will never forget that night and his amazing guitar licks! RIP Oh, Franks buried right next to Roy Orbison in an unmarked grave..
I seem to recall that Frank’s dad taught at one of the Claremont colleges. I have a vintage news article where someone painted a portrait mural of Frank on a wall at Claremont High School. Seems he was revered as a local hero of that time.
Moon is the quintessential Libra, beautiful and incredibly charming. She's intelligent and so down to earth. She has a way of making you feel at ease. I could listen to her talk about anything.
Moon and Dweezil have been shafted by Ahmet and Diva, thanks to a failure of character on their part, and as seed_drill stated, Gail set up the trust. When Dweezil isn't allowed to use the Zaapa name for his tours, or have access to some of his dad's instruments and equipment, that's really a shame.
It’s an age old story, ones insecurities and emotions can mess up an unforgettable legacy. If that’s the case about dweezil not being able to use the Zappa name and instruments is true that’s just sad. Any father knows frank would have wanted that

Frank had one of those coffee urns where you push on the top and it dispenses the coffee, and Mark said he had someone constantly refilling it as soon as it was empty. 😄
I am just reading her book….it is a mesmerizing read for a Zappa Fanatic who used to have Zappa as a role model not only as a composer but also as a social commentator….i still love his music, but I am see him like he wanted to see himself.
Zappa stopped touring about the time I started to get into his music so never got the chance to see the great man live, saw Dweezil with a few members of his dads various line ups but would have loved to have seen Frank 😜

Are you referring the terms of the inheritance giving control of the trust to two of the four siblings? The other two got 20% but no say in control. So she and Dweezel need permission from the other two to use Franks work. Not really up to the usual definition of deplorable. A person gets to distribute property as they deem fit. It is a business decision. We have no idea why Gail, the mother set it up as she did, but she had the right to do so, and owes us no explanation. Perhaps, she felt that the two would exhibit better business sense and respect his legacy. But who knows. BTW, the trust was reportedly massively in debt greater than the worth

Your first responsibility is to your family, secondly, to your friends, and, lastly, to colleagues. I like bits and pieces of Zappa’s music. Mostly, I find it frenetic, chaotic, and silly.
While I enjoyed this film, clearly Alex Winter's: Zappa [2020] is, now, the "be all-end all," top-of-the-heap as far as Zappa documentaries go (and most affecting, effective & affectionate! in its insight, understanding and ability to educate and illuminate (on the subject!)!).

I just painted the interior of my house. I was home alone. The only time I can listen to FZ for any length of time. I listened to a lot of FZ.
Good on you. My wife is a big Zappa fan, so I listen to him any time I want. Our daughter has grown up with his music, so it's normal to her.
