I cant wait to see this in action new motor that's awesome just when I thought it couldn't get any better the Bronco and Defender have got some serious awesome mods to them
I will get it out on the trail in the next day or two, just trying to find a good location 🌄 Now yes they are almost fully upgraded, might still get some portal axles in the future and a fury tech brushless system. Always appreciate you watching and commenting 🤜💥🤛
JUST GOT BACK IN RC AFTER 30 YEARS. YOUR WORK IS GREAT,THANK YOU.I WALK MY DOG IN THE WOODS UP IN CANADA EH AND THIS TRAXXAS 1/18 CRAWLER IS PERFECT .. PARTS ARE SMALL BUT SO MUCH FUN . LOVE UP GREATING ONLY GOT THE FORD 2 WEEKS AGO AND YOUR VIDEIOS HAVE HELPED ME KNOW WHAT TO ORDER ECT. BUT THE STOCK IS WORKING GREAT ONLY PUT OIL IN SHOCKS ....THANKS FOR THAT TIP ......PLEASE KEEP UP THE AWSOME WORK .
That's awesome bro! welcome back to the Hobby, a lot has changed since then! You're going to find that the new batteries never run out compared to back in the day!! And they are so fast to charge as well. Besides that there is a lot more off the market support for a lot more models than they used to be. They are great little crawlers to take out on a walk, compact and easy to transport and even carry some parts with you in case. I'm always really happy to meet another RC enthusiast. I'm just having a little break at the moment as it's very hot and want to spend some time with my family, but soon I will be back at it throwing out build videos upgrade videos and a lot more! So welcome to RC fun and games and I hope to see you again bro 🤜💥🤛
Your videos are so detailed and well explained! I love watching them and definitely some of the best wrenching videos I have come across on RUclips. Keep up the excellent work! Will be looking forward to seeing it running some cool trails on the next video.
You truly are amazing!! your comments mean so much to me 💯❤️💯 thank you so much for being such an awesome supporter. Just been under the weather and very busy but hopefully we'll get some footage of it today.
I just did about the same upgrade to my Bronco and I really like it, so far so good. Very well explained and great Video as always, keep up there great work brother!
That's awesome sounds like your Bronco is turning into an awesome truck. Once again I am really glad to hear that my video was helpful. I truly appreciate your supportive comment 😉👍 Thank you so much! and I hope to see you again soon. 🤜💥🤛
@@rcfungames you deserve it sir, the videos are super helpful and I’m sure is helping a lot of people, some others just don’t take the time to comment but I know comments inspire you as well to keep going!
That's crazy I haven't come across that yet!! Sometimes I also wonder what people do to achieve such failure! I've run these motors really hard in temperatures of 42° Celsius in Portugal and I've had absolutely no issues. But definitely good to know thanks for the info! Happy New year 🎊
So far, i love the pro motor from injora. I dont feel a major difference but it is slightly faster that the stock motor. Seems to have just a little more torque too🤘
Cool, that's good to know, that for the info bro. I'm pretty sure I'll be more than happy with it 😉 Cant wait to take it out on a trail to give it a good test. Thanks for watching and commenting Bro 👊😉
Nice video! Very interesting as I am also thinking about this engine/gearbox set up. It will be exciting to hear your statement then. Received my Injora bumper mounts for my Defender today. Really good function and fit. Have tried some others, but either they didn't fit, or the chamfer for the body clip was in the wrong direction. I am very pleased with Injoras!
That's awesome! I'm really glad you liked the video, the original setup has been doing well for a while now but I thought it was time to finally give that motor a try! And I'm glad I did I took it out yesterday and I had a blast with it!! Definitely gave that's little bit more power and speed that it needed since I changed to the low gear set. Extremely happy with the setup at the moment. I definitely agree with you I find many other parts on Amazon that looks similar but just don't have the same quality and fitment! So far I've only used their parts and I am extremely happy with the quality so far and definitely with customer service. Thank you once again for watching and commenting 🤜💥🤛
Your video saved the day, my bearing kit came in ,but forgot how it went together all good and new bearings, ordering an new transmission in red, does there’s have bearings or bushings, cheers🍻
Woah woah. What’s the power switch set up? I really wanted to make my trx4m work with my spectrum radios but didn’t want to have to get separate each and transmitter…..
Hi bro, the power switch setup I put in the Bronco is just to be able to turn off the light bars and bumper lights. During the day I don't see the point of running them, so I put a switch to make it easy to turn them off. There is nothing worse than a bunch of cables lying around because they aren't plugged in getting the way. Bro if you've got a decent Spectrum transmitter, like the dx5 rugged, you can just buy the the receiver and put it in multiple cars as you can pair up to 10 vehicles to one transmitter.
Hello. I finished all the upgrades and your videos are a blessing. Just one question , i saw you mounted the motor upside down and i mounted the other way. Should i have mounted the motor like you did? because i dont have portal axles and i have been reading about the motor and the reverse rotation im kinda lost a bit. did you mounted upside down on purpose? some posts on reedit say that if i dont have portal axles i need to change the wire connectors on the back, is that true? is it enough just to flip the motor? i have everithing stock besides the lcg chassi, 59mm shocks, injora crawler gears, injora motor pro reverse rotation (purple) and 1.0 plus 6 spoke wheel with brass weights, running 57x22 injora wheels My dude any help will be greatly apreciated Im having a bit trouble also with body leaning alot probably its the 59mm shocks and the axle angle on the chassis are way to high compared to stock. shocks and axle lean right and left
Hi bro I'm sorry for the late reply!! I have Not been feeling very well! I fitted the motor upside down so that you can see the dangerous hot sign on motor not to touch it when you got the car open, and if you look at the bottom of the vehicle you see the injora sign on the motor 😅 Now explaining reverse motor like we have in a Traxxas trx4 1/10 scale! Yes you can use any motor and then you could just swap the wires over if the car is running the wrong way! Flipping the motor like I did would not change the way it rotates only by changing the wires! Yes I've been having the same problem since I tried to run the 59 mm shocks, therefore why I kept the 53 mm in the front and 59 in the rear to try and prevent the body roll!! I have also been having issues even though I've got it set up like this, I have fitted two springs on the rear shocks instead of one to see if I could eliminate the body roll and torque twist!! It helped but didn't eliminate it completely. You could also try using the springs from the original shock on your 59 mm shocks just use the the ring to adjust the tension on the spring to make sure it's under load! As the springs that come on the original shocks are harder than any of the springs provided by Injora. This is why on the Traxxas TRX4 1 to 10 scale they put portal axles to try and eliminate the body roll and torque twist! Why they didn't do it on their little version I don't know! The Rock Vans with portal axles have absolutely nobody roll or torque twist, as they are running portal axles which hugely reduce it And yes if you fit portal axles to your rig you would have to swap the motor wires around! If not you would go backwards when trying to go forwards and forwards when trying to go backwards! Congrats on your build and I hope these few tips help you out. Anything else just let me know.
@@rcfungames I hope you are feeling better Ryan. Thank you for taking your time to explain so well and in detail everything. I learn so much from your videos and they where basicaly my intruction book for the upgrades. Sorry for the late reply, im on vacation and brought the defender and busted the stock servo and need a replacement. Saw a powerhd tr4 servo with metal gears, what do you think of that? guess it was bound to happen sometime with all the new weight. I will try and do what you say to see if i can control the torque twist and body roll, you give valuable information! cheers and get better soon

Thanks bro I really appreciate it! In my opinion Grease is Grease!! But I use high temperature Grease as it is what I have lying around the house because of working on my 1/1 cars. You can also use a waterproof Grease basically any maritime grease. On my cuz I am using Lucas high temperature Grease. Which even running them in water never seems to mix with a greased or give me any trouble. Just don't use that cheap yellow tacky grease. Hope that helps anything else just let me know bro!

They are the metal reduction gear set from Injora.
Which were installed in a previous video.
