The price per day varies, you're probably best off checking the websites. I think I paid £100ish for insurance but again, that'll be different for everyone. As for tyres, if you have some decent rubber on your bike and they're not near death, then you should be able to get away with whats on now and still have lots of life left in them afterwards too. Doesn't really matter where you go, the food will be expensive so if your looking to cut costs bring a pack lunch 🤣 Oh an bring some Jerry cans as fuel is crazy expensive on sight.
I've had bikes for well over 50 years and I've now had my MT10 for nearly 3 years and I'm utterly besotted by it. I don't recall any bike which has gathered such overwhelming love for them. By the way, your back tyre is how you judge how well you did. Good man.
Very well done mate 👏👏 i myself have only done one track day a Ron Haslam td 3/4 years ago now but absolutely loved it 🥰. I do hope to try and get another one in at some point this year HOPEFULLY 🙏🏻. New subscriber Adam 🇬🇧
I have had my knee down. Of course it was me crashing that caused it to touch tarmac. And I was on my way home wearing khakis. And it wasn't Dianaise aliens that got scraped, it was the skin on my knee. You look great on the MT-10 out there, great video.
If your just changing the exhaust then your best off leaving the servo where it is and just remove the cables from it, this will stop it throwing up an error code. This is in a earlier vid ruclips.net/video/7-jf5wOhw_w/видео.html If you get a remap with the woolich racing software, which I higly recomend then you can just tell it your removing it and then youy can get rid with no error codes. ruclips.net/video/9jdKoOCPJc4/видео.html Hope this helps
Great video, I have the same decat Scorpion exhaust on my MT10 and nervous it would be too loud for track. Did you have a issues with getting your bike through a sound test?
It's was a noisy day so no sound test 🙌 Last year I took it to Caldwell an the noise limit was 105 and it blew 103. The only difference is it was the brushed stainless and not the carbon fiber one and I'm guessing the noise levels are the same but I'm not 100% sure.
Nar they were rapid, I just made them look bad 🤣 in all seriously though there were some really inexperienced guys there, I class myself as a novice because of the lack of track experience but i'm guessing some were just new to bikes.
Ant on a Slant The best thing about the MT is it minces everyone in the corners.. once you get leaning and arse off the seat the bike is next level and embarresses these wanaba superbikes (like that Ducati 😂😂)
As it was my second track day I didn't want to bight off more than i could chew so i went in the novice group, Glad I did now as inters just had red flag after red flag so they didn't really get much track time
Great job! "It's funny how many times you can fall in love with the bike" - I know exactly what you mean; I've got mine almost a year ago, done around 17000kms on it and every single time I ride it, I am still fully erect for the whole duration of the ride lol. What tyre pressure did you use on the track btw? And this reminds me I still gotta get my +10hp JizzMachine sticker!
There just amazing machines, I've never fallen in love with a bike as much as this one, an I've tried hundreds 🤣🤣 I'll be honest, I don't remember the tyre pressures but they were really low. I just took the advice given. Where abouts you from pal?
@@MercerVisualProductions Sold the MT10 to put the money towards a new house but still not found one yet. What sort of costs are involved in doing a track day? Insurance costs, tyres, the day etc etc ? Cheers. Great video

I feel the same way have had many bikes and still do the MT-10 is perfect for me never did see what everyone always said about the twichy throttle
Excellent video, love how you captured the Virgin knee down experience. Very well presented , looking forward to seeing more progress 👍
Congrats on popping your knee down cherry! You never forget your first. 😂👍👍

Great enthusiasm and great onboard action. That acceleration looks amazing. Best decision to quit whilst ahead 👍🏻
Fantastic video mate had to find your channel after our conversation today 🤟
Your doing well there, passing people isn't that what its all about, and safe love it.
If anything I know I was a little hesitant when overtaking, that said, I didn't come off an had the time of my life. 👍
Amazing. Looks an incredible day. Keep doing what you do 💪
Cheers fella, appreciate it 👍
Really liked that video, none of the elitist track arrogance .. nice one 👍
Why thank you. tbh I found 99% I was with that day shared a similar attitude. It was just an amazing day
Do you have any DB killer to your Scorpion exhaust? No problems with track limits?
Tyre warmer, tyre warmer, tyre warmer, shall I clean my bike wheels again ? 😂😂😂
Priorities 🤣🤣
Thought you had emigrated , good to see you back posting video's.
Thanks👍😁 Life has a habit of getting in the way now an again, you know how it is
Best video yet :F Can't wait for the day when we can do a track day together 🤩
Awwww thanks. An I'm looking forward to sharing a track with you xx
What that just a slip on for the day ? Noise level on decat bike would be loud
Very good editing dude! Sweet track footy
Thanks man, appreciate it 👍
I get a kick out of those tiny little "tea pot" gas cans of you will😂. We use something that size for oil changes over here in the US.
Excellent video 🏍️💨💨💨
Thanks man, it's my personal favourite 🤣🤣
Nice one mate
Thanks pal 👍
Great vid AND nicely edited.
Thanks so much bud 👍
Awsome!!!!!
The bike sounds awesome did you have to remove the servo with that exhaust? What tank grips are those?

Can just year the bikes at Donington Park from my home. Never yet done a track day on my MT10
Highly recommend taking on track, you can't truly stretch it's legs otherwise
@@MercerVisualProductions Just a bit worried about throwing it down the road when I get too carried away!
