We’re going on a full Indian street food tour through the South Indian state of Karnataka! From Mangaluru (Mangalore) to Bengaluru (Bangalore), we’ll try some of the tastiest Indian food and see some incredible behind the scenes of what goes into the cooking.
In this full documentary I’ll show you all the incredible meals from our road trip in Karnataka, India!
We’ll begin this adventure in Mangalore, famous for seafood, especially fish fry. They coat all fish in a thick masala paste, and tawa fry them in coconut oil. The result is a plaster of masala that keeps the fish moist with an insane amount of flavor. Also, you can't miss the original ghee roast! It was great to hang out with Martin and @JoelsTastyRide
We continued to Coorg, where we met up with my great friend @FoodNTravel in the mountains to learn all about the local food and eat a famous dish unlike any other dish I’ve had in India.
Next up on this Indian street food tour, we’ll visit Mysore (Mysuru), a cultural capital of India, known for a variety of delicious foods - and it didn’t let us down.
Finally we’ll meet up with @FoodLoversTV in Bengaluru (Bangalore), home to a near endless variety and quantity of Indian food. From 1000 kilo pots of biryani, to an Uncle who makes some of the greatest ever fried rice, you can eat non-stop in Bengaluru!
Join me on this incredible Indian food tour in Karnataka, India!

RELAX!... to some who are upset this is a re-upload, relax! Mark needs a break to relax with his family too. Being a YT content creator is not easy at all. So, please stop being rude about him taking a much deserved break. Appreciate all that he has done and brought to you on this channel over the years. Mark owes no one NOTHING! He does what he does, because he truly enjoys it. Thanks! Mark for being you. God bless! you and your family.
This should be top comment. Imagine him and his wife and son are constantly moving and flying and traveling. But he and his family definitely deserve some down time to be the family that they are.
@@sayittomyfaceidareyou8629 Thank you! For saying that.
You relax 🤡
Thank you very much for your kind support Kemi, hope you're having a fantastic weekend!

This is the by far best video i have ever seen of food in india! Im blown away and starving hungry now. What a country!!
You must have a stomach of steel!
Not steel, expanding rubber. As he gulps tons of food down 😅
@@SeraphimYHWHhe was😅 vi
I'm glad mark visited Karnataka ❤..love u sir
I’m glad he visited our INDIA☺️
Karnataka? Is that a country? 🤔
@@shiningstone6771It's a state in India
Wow! Myka had gotten so big . I started following you before he was born . Thank you Mark ❤
ME TOO…!! 😂😂❤❤❤
Funny, he's trying to get that phrase "what a move" to stick like others has made a phrase stick. I think it would have been more interesting if he traveled to somewhere else. He still makes the same old face too.
I love eating with my hands it’s so primal and personal. Hand to mouth makes you way more in touch with your tastebuds. It just hits different and anyone that doesn’t understand that should leave there nasty uncultured comments to themselves. Xoxo to Mark for being my inspiration I n my culinary journeys.
Noice
Loved ur content and ur live
Can you fill your own boots 👢...common guy's go back to your own roots...
Thank you!
Yeah, whenever Mark feels his views slipping, he puts in an India video, so lots of repressed, self hating Indians with an inferiority complex will watch it and his Views go up. Check out his videos, the ones in India have the highest number of views, by far.
Oh mark, this video was an absolute masterpiece! You have taken me on so many marvelous trips over the years and you have never disappointed! Thank you so much for taking me on travels that I only dreamed of!
Thank you very much!
I just love the way Indians eat with their hands. I have tried it especially when eating curry & oh my! the rice really mixed well with the curry when i eat with my hands instead of using the spoon!food taste better!👌
India is one of my bucket list of top 5 countries i want to visit!just because of the way they cook their curries.
Love this video!❤
Bruv good country but you gotta know where to visit. Honestly don't visit the north(India) except maybe Kashmir and a few place that enjoyable to visit. The south is waaay better just don't go north
Am wary of their sanitation
@@nah5925wow!
Its like saying if you visit USA maybe
Dont visit the white supramacy areas, texas and drop of NewYork from the list too.
Instead of saying, be aware and alert where you travel and what you eat because of the culture differences. Have a local guide with you.
India & African traditonal way of traditional food
The 😅😅
YEEEEES MARK!!!! I love this travel vlog technique!!! It kicks it up a notch. We love the behind the scene travel stuff too; is more humanizing & personal. Thank you for sharing!
I think content creators like you sir deserve Nobel Peace prizes, because you show a side of the people in this world that the news media won't show. Thank you.
True.
Yes, but this isn't news. This is a food adventure. News media specializes in .... news. AND bad news gets more views. :-(
I’m catching up with your videos after awhile and really like the summary and voice over part that you added to the beginning and still kept to your authentic style of showcasing the food and people. Micah is so big now too! It’s still so cool and amazing to me (who has a 5 year old and 2 year old boys) that you travel everywhere with him. All the best to you and your family.
Thank you very much, really appreciate your feedback. Greetings to your family as well!
Absolutely loved this Indian food journey. Thank you Mark for bringing this to us. Blessings from 🇬🇧
The foods in India looks delicious, I'm loving that puff rice more, looks interesting
You can search for bheal indian snax, you will forget everything else it is made out of puff rise.
It is only one state food imagine different state have different foods 🤣
20 out of 28 states in India had various laws regulating the act of slaughtering cows, prohibiting the slaughter or sale of cows. Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Kerala, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, West Bengal, Dadra and Nagar Haveli & Daman and Diu and Puducherry. Bangaluru was banned during gomutra rule.
Deep breath.......and I'm ready for 3 hours of Mark eating delicious Indian foods
Ha, thank you!
Yeah, whenever Mark feels his views slipping, he puts in an India video, so lots of repressed, self hating Indians with an inferiority complex will watch it and his Views go up. Check out his videos, the ones in India have the highest number of views, by far.
Delicious? 😂
@@SafinazHassan
Yea delicious?? Ask the British 😂😂
R u sure ?
Your friend copies every motion u do
Not sure why I thought Joel and mark were brothers they are so similar and look alike. Destined to be best friends
Love this 3 hours format.
And a big hug for doing proper research and connecting up with authentic food lovers/ bloggers. The Coorg part was fabulous.
How do we catch hold of Subbu and his lovely family for that absolutely delicious looking Coorgi food!
Hey mark, I love your positivity and how you accept world cuisine , you are great example of how you enjoy the diversity , also you smiling nature is what makes the show so enjoyable
That's true, Mark's warmth and positivity are infectious.
Thank you Mark for showcasing the cuisines of Karnataka to the world! Although, I'd say the food showed in this documentary is about minute fraction of the real number or variety from this region. 😀❤🙏
Right about that, almost a near infinite foods to taste in each region of India!
@@MarkWiensYou should try north Karnataka food. Mutton curry with jolada rotti is just incredible. You will find this type of food in southern Maharashtra as well. A lot of our dishes are super healthy and made of millets like ragi and jowar. Neer dosa is another thing that goes incredibly well with coconut chutney or any kind of curry with meat in it.
Wow looks good. Love Indian food.
Hi Best friend Joel ! I’m so glad to see you with Mark. Love to see you both team up in a food vlog again. 😘✌️🇺🇸
Thank you very much!
I love that Mark Wiens is hanging out with a mini me version of himself. Same haircut, personality and outfit 😂
Actually you are a mini version of him😂
Thanks for the great video on the Ultimate Indian Food Tour👍
Thank you for watching!
Hi mark
Absolutely love it when you and Joel are together, there's only one thing more wholesome than travelling with family for food, and that's adding a friend... and Joel is a lovely friend :)
Hi Mark Weins, I have been watching your videos since 2020. You have been inspiring me to make videos and I finally created an account and start to make videos because of you. I hope your journey will continue to cherish as you go across the world.Bye!
we need more full documentary videos
thanks for the content
This was an awesome documentary!!! As always it’s so good to see you and your bff aka Joel together when you guys have the opportunity!! Love you guys!!!
Mark may i ask why you never visit south africa? is it because south africa doesn't have much of their own food? * guys please i made this comment to ask a genuine question please be respectful in the replies*
i beleive mark wiens hates south africa, i could be wrong but he said somewhere before its a horrible disgsuting country
I don't think South Africa is a popular tourist destination i could be wrong.
i hope he visits my beautiful country
I'd like to know too
to everyone saying mark hates africans his visitied africa, but i do think south africa might not have food or they might be a little to developed for mark to visit
My bestie lives in Mangalore and I am planning to visit her. Thank you for this video, it made me understand a bit about the foods and some things there. Awesome! ❤
You are most welcome mam.. You will Love the hospitality of India.
Hello from Bordeaux✌️
HAI BROTHER WELCOME TO MANGALORE
It was like watching top class movie on repeat. You always and I know will have my deepest love and respect. You, your family and Joel are amazing. This full documentary did justice to your whole recent trip to the south state of India ❤
My cheeks hurt from smiling for 2 hours & 52 minutes!! & with Micah flipping on the bed. Adorable!!
This full documentary video is amazing to view on RUclips ❤. Unbelievable work Mark…..thank you 🤩
Over the ❤ have being following mark and I'm still amazed of all the food I wish I was there to keep going. Mark god bless you and your family,
What an amazing documentary, the food looks amazing. Thank you Mark and crew for this! Loved and shared this with family. God Bless.
Hii
When you are visiting India
Mark why don’t you stop your over acting atleast by 2024….😏😡
Should have covered north Karnataka also they have a completely different food culture
He covered 37 meals all across India and you are pointing out what’s lacking. Cup half full bro
You cover it for him.
I loved this long video!! Incredible trip! Micha sure is getting big! 💜💚💛
อาหารอินเดียเครื่องเทศเยอะจัด ทำให้กลิ่นตัวแรงต้องระวัง!
Awesome job mark with food vlog drop a like
After a meal fold the banana leaf towards you, it means you enjoyed the meal. Folding it outwards means you do not like the meal.
All the food here looked amazing!
Thank you!
Second 😂
oh man this is GOLD , thank you mark for publishing this as a documentary . Next time please explore north east states of India. From Assam to Bhutan.
Loving Micah’s back flip!! LOL My twin daughters are here wanting to do the same 😂😂😂
I prefer watching Mark Weins than a Mukbang video. Like you get excellent food, you get culture and you see good and beautiful people all around the world. I wish everyone in the world would love their neighbors in all countries across the world.
In the past, several of my friends went on a tour to India and almost all of them had diarrhea, which made me afraid to go to India. Not only my friends, but it happened with several other tour groups.
Hopefully now it's better
If you’re not used to that level of spices or masala mixtures then it will be a shock to your system. It’s not to do with the quality of food so I don’t know what you mean by “hopefully now it’s better”. I went backpacking in India for 5 weeks about 10 years ago and neither me or my husband got sick.
The problem is not with the food per se . It is because the non sub continent guts are not used to Indian food. It takes time to get used to it.
So its better to start slow once you are here...
Avoid street food. Dirty unclean water and old stale oils used for frying can cause upset stomach.
Best to eat in well established restaurants.
If you have never eaten spicy food, then you can have digestive issues.
Bro may be all of them have IBS problem... indian food is world's best food ...
Truly, I have no idea what the point of this post is? I've eaten at a 2* Michellin restaurant in London and subsequently had diarrhea. You post a comment to deride an entire Country's cuisine?
I'm guessing your a Yank. Before you worry about travel, might want to look into getting a passport.
I love this channel. Mark is such a legend. And the glimpse of his family show you that they are awesome as well. But I also really like Joel when I see him. He is an absolute doppelgänger to a guy I worked with years ago, like 35+ years. Who was so kind and looked after me at the workplace I was in. It was a shite job, and this kind older fella would watch out for all the junior staff. I have forgotten his name, which pains me, but I’ll always remember him.
So whenever I see Joel, I’m taken back to the times with that guy and remember his kindness. The personality even matches…
Keep up the brilliant work.
Gorgeous boy!❤ is that ok to have pillow ?
Come to Peruuuuuu 🇵🇪🇵🇪🇵🇪🇵🇪
Inshallah One day
Thanks for visiting my hometown Mangalore !! Hope you had a lovely culinary trip and you enjoyed your stay would love to have you visit again !! 🙏🏻🙏🏻😇😇🩷🩷
I know you're at HK right now but really excited to see where you're headed to next. HK videos were great but HK is now less vibrant and much more restrictive than in the past. Hope you're able to have a good time.
Great Mark your videos are fantastic
Martin and ammanna perfect for guiding 🥰🥰
Another brilliant video! Would love to do one with you one day 🙏
Is mark over react his reaction
Expression of Mark when tasting any food is wonderful😅
Mark I lived in India for 6 years 2 years in the north and 3 in the south. This was such a good description of the food in the south.
❤🤍💙 all your videos #MARK👍
Dear Mark , Wherever you are, you make the locals feel like you're 🏁the boy next door.🏁 A perfect example is the way you folded the banana leaves after your lunch.
🤩🤩
Biryani is my favourite Indian food, that is one massive pit of biryani Mark 🤩🤩🤩
The best biryani in india is in agra city .the city of taj mahal ❤
Biryani isn't "Indian" food
@emu_warrior it is not Indian so what its Iranian go eat the Iranian version .....do some reaserch my friend on Indian biryani there is a big difference from the biryan from iran
@@viinay9 Biryani is not Indian
@@emu_warriorIt's a Mughal food originated in the Indian subcontinent made with Indian spices.
It's not native to Iran and neither Iran have the spices to make Biriyani
And no one eats biriyani in Iran.
I love this type of long, adventurous feel of food hunting, places of India that i have never heard of in this documentary video.. thank you Mark and family and friends.
After eating all of this next morning bro will be in toilet for 24 hrs💀
Motivating me to explore my own country. That's the power of your videos!! Have been following Mark for years now.. Thank you Mark!
Amazing! I hope I can make a trip like this one day!
Food looks great, but there should be limit in GHEE and oil for food it will have impact on heart #heart #ghee #health

awesome content bro... ive been watching you from day one
Try Tamil cuisine in Tamil Nadu, India next time.
I'm sure you will be mind blown 🇮🇳📍
For those who dont know about India people eat pork & beef is available in India in a lot of states ....so stop stereo typing India ......India is a continent in a country😂😂😂😂😂
Welcome to Karnataka uta
Welcome mark happy to see u again in india hope more good videos
The morning Biriyani is a clean area and hygienically made I see
I have made a 8 episode public playlist of Mark Wiens in Karnataka.
May you and your family enjoy your break in Jesus Name.
This part of India I like to go...super clean , the people always smile and friendly. Bucket list MANGALORE
Yess most definitely. But a friendly reminder again to not visit the north. Not the greatest representation of India rn. Highly political, poorly educated.
North East India is even better if you wanna look at the cleaner, greener and peaceful side of India.
@@nah5925I can say the same thing about South India tho
@@arpitshivhare217 yeah...dogeating..underdeveloped tribal peiple🤣🤣
@@arpitshivhare217 you kanwariyas are more concerned about building temples than hospitals and schools with the tax money sponsered completely from the south
I’m saying, they can’t invest in some forks tho.
nice ! exciting food journey mmmmm !!!!!
Kindly consider revisiting Mysore to relish the delectable Mysore pak, dose, boonda, and the incredible biriyani. Additionally, do not miss the opportunity to explore Udupi, the birthplace of Masala Dose. Furthermore, a visit to Hubali/Dharwad in North Karnataka will expose you to a completely distinct culture and cuisine.
Mark actually eats Indian food. But not sunny 😂 just voice over
Mark's ability to ignore the exhaust fumes, ugliness and noise and to focus on the great food and kind, proud people is a lesson for all of us from wealthy countries who live in developing countries.
It's his job , the source of earning
no offence sir...but you haven't checked the wealthy side of India...hope u'll be amazed❤
Sure
I guess people like you just like hate on everything which you seem to dislike
Honestly Marks pronunciation of dose and other Kannada words..and eating with hands is better than most North Indian...
Yeah eating with unclean poo hands, very good lol
I never get tired of watching your videos! Thank you for the compilations Mark!
