I have tried it especially when eating curry & oh my! the rice really mixed well with the curry when i eat with my hands instead of using the spoon!food taste better!👌 India is one of my bucket list of top 5 countries i want to visit!just because of the way they cook their curries. @@MarkWiensYou should try north Karnataka food. Mutton curry with jolada rotti is just incredible. You will find this type of food in southern Maharashtra as well. A lot of our dishes are super healthy and made of millets like ragi and jowar. Neer dosa is another thing that goes incredibly well with coconut chutney or any kind of curry with meat in it.

I love this channel. Mark is such a legend. And the glimpse of his family show you that they are awesome as well. But I also really like Joel when I see him. He is an absolute doppelgänger to a guy I worked with years ago, like 35+ years. Who was so kind and looked after me at the workplace I was in. It was a shite job, and this kind older fella would watch out for all the junior staff. I have forgotten his name, which pains me, but I’ll always remember him. So whenever I see Joel, I’m taken back to the times with that guy and remember his kindness. The personality even matches… Keep up the brilliant work.

I do have an ancestral connection with Karnataka for my paternal-grandparents food choices were largely of the Karnataka traditional cuisine especially the raagi balls.

I grew up in the Middle East, all the way up into my 40's and traveled extensively, including India. I find that in my 80's now, I miss the adventures and the foods, and the cultures, that I was privileged to mix with. Watching this particular saga reminds me of the hottest Chicken Curry I ever ate in my life! It hurt, but was delicious at the same time!

In the past, several of my friends went on a tour to India and almost all of them had diarrhea, which made me afraid to go to India. Not only my friends, but it happened with several other tour groups. Hopefully now it's better
If you’re not used to that level of spices or masala mixtures then it will be a shock to your system. It’s not to do with the quality of food so I don’t know what you mean by “hopefully now it’s better”. I went backpacking in India for 5 weeks about 10 years ago and neither me or my husband got sick.
The problem is not with the food per se . It is because the non sub continent guts are not used to Indian food. It takes time to get used to it. So its better to start slow once you are here...
Avoid street food. Dirty unclean water and old stale oils used for frying can cause upset stomach. Best to eat in well established restaurants. If you have never eaten spicy food, then you can have digestive issues.
Truly, I have no idea what the point of this post is? I've eaten at a 2* Michellin restaurant in London and subsequently had diarrhea. You post a comment to deride an entire Country's cuisine? I'm guessing your a Yank. Before you worry about travel, might want to look into getting a passport.

North East India is even better if you wanna look at the cleaner, greener and peaceful side of India.

In the past, several of my friends went on a tour to India and almost all of them had diarrhea, which made me afraid to go to India. Not only my friends, but it happened with several other tour groups.

If you’re not used to that level of spices or masala mixtures then it will be a shock to your system. It’s not to do with the quality of food so I don’t know what you mean by “hopefully now it’s better”. I went backpacking in India for 5 weeks about 10 years ago and neither me or my husband got sick.
The problem is not with the food per se . It is because the non sub continent guts are not used to Indian food. It takes time to get used to it.
So its better to start slow once you are here...
Avoid street food. Dirty unclean water and old stale oils used for frying can cause upset stomach.
Best to eat in well established restaurants.
If you have never eaten spicy food, then you can have digestive issues.
Bro may be all of them have IBS problem... indian food is world's best food ...
Truly, I have no idea what the point of this post is? I've eaten at a 2* Michellin restaurant in London and subsequently had diarrhea. You post a comment to deride an entire Country's cuisine?
