Funny that the dog has no idea how great the bass player is. The guy could be playing like a first year hack and the dog would still sit there, chillin.
@@cunnieseverywhere You don't know how music works, right ? This is definitely overlapping. I think it's excellent but don't give it credit it doesn't deserve.
It's awesome to me that Adam makes this look so effortless that all anybody is comment about is the dog and his house. That groove was so deep in the pocket it was absurd. I'm a retired drummer and I can't fathom a single thing I could have done to make that feel better. Not only does the music feel good, but your spirit absolutely comes through and makes me want to have a cup of coffee and a shot of tequila with you, and I don't drink coffee. Nice job brother.
I think it's even more impressive the fact that this piece feels like every genre of music all at once, to the point that it's almost universal, I mean, what is this, a classical piece, some good ol' jazz, is it prog rock, is it a folk dance piece, is it a sick kendrick lamar beat? WHO KNOWS?
@@G4rrfield how could you say that, this man spent his whole life working on this one joke and you go and tear down his dreams like it means nothing to nobody, your girlfriend looks like my mom

I love this video it's just pure bass. The groov was great and you can plainley see he's feeling what he's doing. Add his enthusiasem for the instrument and the dog hanging out and you've got an awesome video. Thanks for posting it I really enjoyed it.
This entire video is a showcase of passion. If you notice in this scene here: @ 2:03 On the left you have a man passionately playing the Bass. While at the same on the right you have a dog passionately scratching an itch. Spectacular 👍☝️🙂
I watched this video many times with my 3-5 year old pupils at school (nursery). They sit there mesmerized and want to see it over and over again. Of course the dog is a major attraction :-) I had a 3 year old pupil a while ago who kept calling every instrument "double bass" - this video obviously left quite an impression.
The upright is my fave to listen to. Especially for relaxing. I caught this last night and fell asleep before the video ended. I'm an insomniac and this is a major compliment. Excellent work. Effortlessly played
That's incredible. I play the upright bass for 10 years and this is the first time I hear something like that. That bass and drum, so intense. I get more chill than the gorgeus dog.
@DJ KarameloKaramelo KarameloKaramelo Seriously? This kicks major butt! Shows what's possible with just one person, and the tapping is soooo much fun! Why less? Why stand in the way of that amazing groove?
Hey triangle isn't that easy. If you've ever played a classical score with triangle, waiting through 72 measures of rests for a single triangle hit is no joke lol.
If you have a chance to see this guy play live, take it, he's amazing. He does a lot more than just bass. He layers songs live on stage all by himself using a looper, including strings, vocals, keys and other instruments.
As a “sort of upright bass player” in my folk days i see this as true artistry. I’m amazed at the people mentioning the dog with the bassist’s amazing talent.
this piece is about inner peace and calm. sort of like this scene. im groovin and my dog is chillin. im the bass. the world is so percussive. im just doing my own thing but we all must exist.
brilliant. (i love how the dog is like: "ok, i've heard this a million times before...guess i can lay here for another 3 minutes before my walk...damn fleas...")
That’s awesome! I play bass but my fretless basses are both 5 string in the form of an electric guitar a much smaller scale . Bass is such a beautiful instrument and extremely versatile. I love the whole percussion thing going on and those harmonics thrown in blew me away! The high notes and chords really sing out beautifully ! It’s how you play, it’s so lovely and inspiring to hear someone play bass as the beautiful musical instrument it truly is. Yes it’s very important played well as the backbone of say an orchestra or band etc and that in itself takes dedication and precision but I love it when people take things a little further and do something out of the ordinary. I love this because it sounds beautiful and musical to listen to not only so much the fact it’s impressive to play an upright bass in this way which it is. It’s obvious he’s having so much fun too! It’s catching and you can literally feel the notes Definitely will be listening again 😃🤙
I've seen Adam live and it's totally stunning. All the tricks and tech he's got is just right. His technique of percussion and drum and guitar sounding chords is amazing. BTW: I was at the concert in that factory in The Hague the second day of the double bass festival.

That's a nice scene... A guy playing upright bass, a fresh lookin' home, nice weather outside, and the huge dog chillin' there.
Chill ass dog
its so classic
nobody here was claiming to be in expert in anything

If I was playing, the dog would have left at the beginning.
Absolutely outstanding. My 6 year old watched this in amazement and then fell backwards saying "this is SOOOO good it made me fall over"
That's is adorable 😁❤️
He's playing the part of 3 instruments: the bass, the lead guitar, and the percussion. So very good

Upright bass, but it was a leather glove he ran across the string.

So why do i hear a trumbone in his roar
Lol, no, it was the sound of a rusty gate hinge opening slowly.
