Fun gameplay weird convoluted story but yeah I liked it!
Story wise, at points, it's kinda hit and miss
gameplay wise, not so much
I liked Jake's story. To be honest, the only character I didn't like was Helena.
She just seemed so bland and uninteresting to me. They gave her the ol' reliable cliche backstory of
"Bad guy kidnaps character and relative
Character is forced to work for bad guy
Relative goes missing
Relative becomes a monster
Relative attacks the group
Character realises that their relative "is still in there somewhere"
Relative has a brief moment of clarity
Relative sacrifices herself
Character keeps fighting the good fight
Character helps MC expose bad guy's plans
bad guy dies
Character is cleared of wrongdoings and gets gun/badge back (if they're a cop)
trope that games/movies/shows seem to love recycling
